  1. Since there are the first leaked pictures out now and we seem to (surprisingly) have no thread for it yet, I thought it would be the time to just make one ;). First of all the facts we know so far: Pieces: 3745 Estimated Price: 360$/320£ Release:1st April 2024The Set was made based on a fan design from an Lego Ideas Contest, you can find the winner announcement here. The leaked picture is, as always quite bad quality and can be found in the usual places, so I will wait to judge the build when we got better pictures of it. So far I would say they added a lot details including D&D creatures such as the Beholder and seems to include at least 6 minifigures including a dragonborn using the vidiyo-dragon head in green. Nice catch, as always I fail to see so many details in those low quality-pics. Rogue looks quite obvious but I couldn´t have identyfied the High Elven Druid exactly as this. Also it seems like we are getting a D&D CMF in September: 21348 Lego Ideas Dungeons & Dragons and D&D CMF - Page 3 - LEGO Historic Themes - Eurobricks Forums
  2. Bonjour à tous, After a few years hiatus from Lego due to lack of space, and thanks to a move and the subsequent move to a larger home, I got back into Lego this year, digging out my entire stash and taking advantage of an empty room to rebuild my workshop. Being a long-time role-player, the release of the D&D set and the minifig series finally got me back into it. So what better way could I do than to start with the D&D set and place it in a setting? Having Castle 10305 as well, putting the two together seemed perfectly natural. Also inspired by many creations found on different other sites, I integrated all of this into a diorama, here are some photos. General view of the diorama : Castle entrance area, which awaits adventurers with a first fight without difficulty, just to warm up : But danger is never far away, and the mythical red dragon is already there. An epic battle begins, mixing weapons and magic, against the dragon's terrible breath : Given the imposing stature of the venerable dragon, the poor knight, after an unfortunate 1 on his wisdom saving throw, can only be petrified with terror!! But all this noise does not disturb the peace of the much more humble inhabitants of the place, whose objective has not changed : Not far from there, a knight spots a weapon; it could well help him in his quest... or perhaps even promise him a much more epic destiny? Near the castle, other evil forces take advantage of the opportunity to try to accomplish their sinister plans : Starting with the lady of pain, whose motivations remain unknown : Or the evil Szass Tam, returned once again from the dead : To amass even more power, aided by his acolytes, the red wizards of Thay, will the sacrifice of a pure young woman allow him to achieve his goal? Fortunately, a very old dragonborn order is trying to thwart his plans. But first, they must defeat the army of death Szass has raised : A high priestess of the order, and her elite guards, have joined the battle because the danger is great : But the army of the dead also uses magic : But nothing a good old fireball can't fix :
  3. [current state of advancement] Hello Folks! This is my first thread in this forum, and I hope you'll find it inspiring and fun. Since I'm a long term LEGO and D&D fan I couldn't resist in buying the set at day one. I really enjoyed it... but... as a D&D fan (and a bit as a perfectionist)... meh, something was missing. But what startled me to this work was actually my wife: (without actually understanding the implication of what she was saying) she told me: "wonderful, U can leave it on that old little table in the lounge!". [ The problem is that my mind understood: "Everything that fits that table can stay there!" So I decided to unpack all my child-era bricks (in last years I only built Technic) and put myself at work. My actual roadmap is something like this: fix some minor issues and details (such as the door trap I'll show at the end of this post); [DONE] extend the inn to fit stairs to reach the upper floor; [DONE] add a proper kitchen (because it can have a role in the "Red Dragon Tale" adventure, if U want to play it); [DONE] complete the back of the tower (within the limits of 'that little old table"); [DONE] create a proper dungeon (yes, because if the red dragon is a proper D&D Dragon, well the dungeon not so much) that extends one floor under the whole set; [DELAYED] (possibly) create a Dragon Hall at floor -2. [WIP] This is my dream, and any comment or suggestion will be appreciated. Hope to post updates soon! Cheers Grin
  4. My mods of the D&D figures from the Collectible Minifigures line as well as from set 21348 Red Dragon's Tale. Figures that did not come from either but have benefited from their parts are also included. Note that not all of the minifigures are modded. Some such as Strahd, Szass Tam and the Lady of Pain are as sold. Most of the parts are LEGO. Only four of the pieces are third party. I did use a couple of non-purist techniques. Overall though, they're close to purity.
  5. In this video we take a look at our CUSTOM Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves minifigs we created using the D&D CMF as a starting point!!
  6. According to Promobricks, a reliable source of information, LEGO will be releasing an Optimus Prime Transformer. It was previously thought impossible that LEGO would ever do Optimus Prime as the Transformers are IP belonging to Hasbro, one of LEGO’s main rivals. But it looks like LEGO and Hasbro have put their competitive differences aside. If so, could we also see LEGO Dungeons & Dragons, the latter being another IP of Hasbro’s? Would LEGO minifigures and sets based on D&D interest you? Hasbro has tried something similar before in the form of Kre-O and it wasn’t a huge commercial success, but maybe LEGO can do a better job. What do you think?
