  1. Even though the Aslanic temple in Thorshaven was little more than a large shrine, its construction took longer than the majority of the Aslanic temples built in the same period. This was mostly due to the distance between it and the home temple on Gorr as well as the Kaliphlin Civil war that broke out shortly after its construction began. When the time came to appoint a priest to the post, Lord Kral decided to rid himself of one of his most vocal critics. So it was that Brother Ernest soon found himself in the growing city of Thorshaven. Inside the temple:
  2. In the south of Mitgardia lays a small castle called Sudheim Keep. It's design is based on Nordheim Keep, but altough it's brother is build for, Sudheim Keep is build for peace. It is there, that Drondil signs a pact with three of the mightiest powers of Mitgardia, and even Historica. Tonight, Daydelon, Thorshaven and Drondil sign a pact to change Historica's history! Again, inspired by Soccerkid6 (I know, it's kinda becoming a habit. I should probably put it in my signature ). It's based on one of his older castles, while the name refers to the best castle ever build. These angled roofs were a real pain in the megablocks, but I hope you like it! CC very appreciated!
  3. On the southwestern coast of Mitgardia, mostly untouched by war against the elementals and Victor sits Thorshaven, a sleepy harbor city that is seeing a steep rise in economic activity since its more or less one of the last intact ports in Mitgardia. The shore here is rocky but the climate benign due to a warm ocean current that is sweeping along Mitgardia's western shores. The first thing you see as you approach the city from the South is a house build on a cliff. Long ago it was build for the mayor, but later got sold to local fisher folks. Since then it's been lacking a little paint here and there:
  4. In order to protect them from the evil that was to come, De Gothia had recently sent his children to be fostered by his allies in Mitgardia and Kaliphlin. His son Albion was evetually recieved by Steen Larsson in Thorshaven and was to learn the art of diplomacy. So in order to be doing so, Steen takes young DeGothia through the streets of Thorhaven in order to tell him the way of the Mitgardian people. "Well Albion, this is the Thorshaven Town Hall. After the Thing in Valholl, these kind of meeting halls all over Mitgardia are the places were politics are made by the people. Not everwhere do Mitgardians meet in houses like this, sometimes it takes nothing more than a clearing in the forest for the people to congregate and voice their opinion. And the first thing that you have to understand about Migardian politics is: Mitgardians love to fight! Not only in the battle field but also in the politcal arena do things become really heated! Our people are very emotional and whenever they are annoyed about something, they storm the parliaments to voice their opinion." Steen takes Albion a step closer to the mob: "Albion, don't be frightened by all the screaming. Our criticism may sound raw and wild, espcially when uttered by our Dwarven brethren. But every Mitgardian citizen has a saying in the meetings and after the fight is over, there is nothing these fellows like better than a good ale down in the Town Hall basement where it is warm and cozy." "And yes, these dwarves are really angered. They want to go and fight the Shraliek in order to free the famous Eric Grimmson, a good friend of the Mitgardian dwarves. But the council is reluctant, noone knows what might be going on across the border in Nocturnus. So why risk war with the new ruthless rulers over there, before our troops are fully prepared ... . I really miss my friend Grimmson though!" To be continued ..
  5. Mpya Stedor All-Encompassing Science, Trade & Resources Organisation (MAESTRO) opened a while ago their shop (with embassy) in Thorshaven, Mitgardia.
