  1. When I first heard that the LEGO company was releasing a rendition of the vehicle back in January 2015, I had high hopes that their set would be faithful to its inspiration. Sadly, that wasn't the case, and their rendition was definitely my least favorite of that wave. I've been wanting to make this vehicle for some time. After finding another great MOC from another LEGO Designer, my design finally came together. If you wish to see his project, which is exceptional, you can click here. The design features many of the features seen in the original ship, namely a rotatable top cannon, a central canopy with space for 2 drivers and a commanding officer, 6 side areas for prisoners or deploying troops, and 2 adjustable front guns. Along with a very sturdy frame design, this is the perfect rendition of the fan-favorite Imperial vehicle. Here are some pictures of the design from different viewing points. Let me know in the comments what you think of this design, and be sure to tell the original designer how nice his MOC is as well, as his is the inspiration for this design. You can also go to MOCpages & to see this vessel, if you want.
  2. As a kid, I was always really jealous of a friends Kenner Imperial Troop Transport - even though it didn't appear in any Star Wars film it was a super cool toy. When the ITT then showed up in the Rebels show, it pushed my nostalgia buttons and I was even more pleased when the official battlepack was announced. I've bought up loads of the battlepacks just for the stormies but the ITT is not up to scratch, so I've had a go myself. I was going more for a general feel than screen accuracy and I was particularly pleased to get the angles at the front. The little yellow accents were added to fit in with the colour scheme of the AT-DP (the polybag version - which is supposed to be some distance away - in the photos features a microscale snowtrooper from the Battle of Hoth game!). The ITTs featured in Rebels seem to be used to transport prisoners more than troops, hence the scene. Feedback gratefully received!
  3. Back to publishing MOC with this Imperial Troop Transport. Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr It is based on the Kenner toy from the 80's and that I owned before selling it. (argh) This version is different from the SW Rebels version, mainly because of the front curved face. I also used as inspiration source the LDD model available on Rebrickable. Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr I fully redesigned the side passenger pods, the roof, the turred and the radar. The rear side also use a different greebling. Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr Detailed cockpit with room for playability... Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr I decided to keep a large room inside the vehicle in order to park a small speeder or a portable canon. My son truly loves putting stuff inside this vehicle. Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr And a family picture with the other star vehicle from Star Wars Rebels, the AT-DP. Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr Comments & constructive criticisms are welcome.
  4. Hi, in my opinion the official ITT set 79078 is way too small and so I decided to build my own version. Since I don't own that much bricks I built it digitally using the LDD. So here's my final design: I hope you like it :) Best Vaionaut
  5. My second freebuild. Following my arrest (see http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=100455) the stormtrooper sergent called for a transporter Inside was a large wookie behind bars. Fearing that I would be put behind the bars with him, I was glad to be pushed towards a bench that I assumed was normally used by the storm troopers. Already sat on the opposite bench was a woman wearing a pilot's helmet. As I looked nervously towards the wookie she didn't take her eyes off of the storm trooper From the forward compartment I heard a trooper on the radio: "Yes sir we have picked up the Rodian, heading back to base now" More views of the Imperial Troop Transporter: After travelling for a long time, for what must have been a significant distance, I wondered if we had left the industrial centre. Of course I had no idea what was happening outside... Rebel trooper: Yes I have visual confirmation of the transport, the transponder is functioning correctly, we'll get our pilot back Thanks for looking, I would like this build to be judged pleased
  6. Well,as many of you,i`m not too satisfied with the tiny ITT Lego gave us.Okay,it`s a Battlepack and delievers 4 cool Stormtroopers but i wouldn`t mind having a Minifig Scale Version of it. That`s the Moment i was amazed by the many fanbuild ITT`s from the Community. I`m super jealous to see all those amazing Skills from Guys like DarthTwoShedsJackson or Michaelozzie. The second Guy shared a LDD Version of his ITT and so i downloaded it and poked around a bit for some Time, so Credit for the Base goes to him. I changed a few Details to my Liking.I wasn`t too happy with the clever but weird Hinge Mechanism the Front Panels were attached so i removed them and redesigned the angled Sides. I also wanted the ITT have a Roofrack like in the Series where it can carry Crates with Weapons and Food (the rebuild was approved by Commander Meiloorun :D) Some Details on the Sides and the Rear were made. Remember that the Lego ITT has some sort of Droid Prison on the Back?Well i added it to the ITT as a reminiscene to the tiny Lego Model. The Interior still needs to be rebuild. It`s too empty, and i`m somewhere between adding Gunracks for either the Studguns or the "real" Lego Blasters or some Seats attached to the Walls (you know, fold down Seats like in Helicopters and such...) So,any Ideas for what can be done with the Interior?Couldn`t find Interior Pics of the Rebels ITT...
