  1. Pennington has decided that the colonies are of top priority to the crown and as such has used his own money to start up a Bank for the people of Arlinsport to hold their wealth on their way to riches and glory. He has spared no expense making sure traditional Corrington foliage adorned the gardens in front of the building along with Ivy and Hemp to ensure it's regal statue. Being a busy man he sent his least favorite painter to the colonies to provide him a picture of the finished construction. DSC00407 by Paul Vogel, on Flickr DSC00408 by Paul Vogel, on Flickr Though, when questioned the painter is said to have told locals Pennington's actual words were, "Why would I ever want to go to that filthy rats nest of a colony with all the peasant.". The truth is still being debated.

  3. Hi everyone. Looking at all these amazing MOCs here at Eurobricks i decided to share my own. This is a collection of city MOCs that i designed over the past few years. All of these models are made in Lego Digital Designer, and are presented with pictures rendered using POV-Ray. I didn't make a lot of pictures as i'm sharing LDD files in which the models can be viewed entirely. Most of the buildings have roofs built in separate sections that can be removed (using "connected selection" tool) to see the interiors. Also note that because of the high brick count, that some of this models have, slower computers might have problems with opening those files. That's it for the introduction.. I hope to insipre people with my work just like i get inspired by others. 5. Modifying the Spiderman Doc Ock Truck for City use I can't resist a bargain and in my local supermarket they had the Lego 76015 Doc Ock Truck Heist marked down by 33%. I thought at the very least I could use it as a parts pack. It's a straightforward enough build and has plenty of playability - exploding roofs, catapulted swinging spiderman and a dextrous Doc Ock, but good grief there was no way it was going to fit into my City! The wheels are massive! The rear wheel positioning is bizarre and the whole thing looks obviously like it came from a comic book (I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised by that ) So, I dumped the comically large wheels, reduced the wheel span by three studs by moving the rear wheels away from the very back of the truck and reduced the overall length by two. I reworked the front end to give it a more modern feel and tweaked the color scheme. I lost the exploding roof function and cleaned up the roof line. Here's a comparison of the original wheel base and those clownish wheels to this new version One final shot So, what's the point of this post? I suppose it's seek out bargains and modify them to suit your needs. I know I'll be looking for other vehicles to mod - after I've turned this one into a 7-wide one. Edit: I reworked the front end to make it less blocky, turned the back shell of the truck into 7-wide by using jumper plates. I also increased the overall height by 1 plate and cleaned up the roof line.
