The "Broken Spoke" Gold Mine: A Wild West MOC
SirNadroj replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks for the advice. Here's my stagecoach thread, I just posted: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...showtopic=11124 -
Hello again. Here is my second WW MOC as suggested by Mr. M. in my Gold Mine thread. This is a Stagecoach ambush. I tried to stick with colourful, yet classic colours for the coach. You may also reognize the driver from the mine. ;-) This one was semi-complicated since the right and left sides of the vechile are built upside-down. There is a spot on top for luggage and money, of course! X-D There is also a small cliff/rock formation, where my two bandits are hiding out ready to strike and make off with the loot! The woman's head, and the driver's head are reversible for a scared effect. Also, the green spheres on the rocks are cacti, in case you're wondering. ;-) Thanks for looking, here's the MOC page: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/36672 As always, feeback is appreciated! :-)

The Great Jelly Alien Spoof contest entry thread!
SirNadroj replied to Corvus's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Here are my two entries! 1. Spoof This is a spoof from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Yeah, I think I've done too many PotC MOCs too, but I couldn't resist, mate! ;-) This is the scene on Pelegosto Island (Cannibal Island) where Jack is making his not-so-heroic escape! Quote: "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" and "You will always remember this as the day you *SPLASH*....Captain Jack Sparrow." Additonal Pictures: 2. Whack-an-Alien Entry This one is also based on a movie: The Empire Strikes Back. I am alone wandering with my counter-part K-3PO when suddenly we are approached by a strange looking alien. (or at least its supposed to be an alien. Not knowing what to do, I quickly grab K-3PO and WHACK and SPLAT! That alien is history. Little did we know, there were more of them lurking behind the foothills of the great snow covered planet we call Hoth, waiting to conquer it. Additional Pictures: Poor K-3PO, look at that disguisting alien jelly! And its green, too, nobody likes the green flavor! Thanks everyone, Good Luck! EDIT: As you can tell, I now have a new sigfig. The one in the entry above is my old one. -
Hey all! Here is my latest MOC: Broken Spoke Gold Mine. This is my first WW MOC. It is based on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Disney. There is a mine cart which can roll along the tracks onto the bridge over the little river. The buildings are supposed to be literally built into the mountain. I used a transparent baseplate for the stream/river to give it a shallow effect. The minifigures include a Cavalry Colonel, A Prospecter, and the mine owner (in the black). There is a small crane/pulley, and those thing that have the water in them. The name slips my mind, but that is on the left side. There is also a big, green cactus. Warning: Image Heavy! ;-) Thanks for looking, here's the MOc page: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/36608 Feedback is appreciated, this is only my first WW MOC! X-D

OK, my entries are officially DONE! :-) So if you could make an entry thread asap, I'll post the pics! Thanks a bunch! :-D And I see you edited Schwartz. ;-)

Must be a misprint. I never noticed on mine, though. Lego screws up again! ;-)

*y* *wub* One of the best pizza joint MOCs ever! I love the incredible detail, and I like how its modular. It looks fantastic next to your post office. Keep it up, I'd love to see some more modulars'! *y* *wub*

I've been subscribed since Christmas, and I got nothing special so far. A couple $5 small sets, and a crappy racer or two. The only good things are the coupons, the issue, and the small cement mixer polybagged LEGO I got for subscribing. :-X

This is an awesome idea for a contest! *y* *y* *y* I made my spoof, which I'll post tomarrow, but I'm still having builder's block about the whacking. Oh well, I'll think of something. And Mr. M., in the first post 'May the Shwartz be with you', Shwartz should be spelled "Schwartz" just so you know. (I'd know, 'cause its my last name! :-D ;-) )
-
My latest project is a Wild West themed Gold Mine. The mine is done, but I'm working on figures. I think its really really cool, but I'll post pics tommarrow and see what you guys think. ;-)

Here I am: The Valiant and ever so handsome Sir Nadroj (or Governor Nadroj, if you prefer, that is my occupation! ;-) )
-
Indeed, this thread is appropirately named. ;-) I'm not the biggest fan of Star Wars, but I appreciate these. *y*
-
Mister Phes, how could you not know which set its from!? :-D ............ ;-) I agree, but sadly those old school baseplates with the pits and ramps, and this one with stairs, are probably not in production anymore. But while the still were, LEGO could have done some cool things, since the pirate theme was out during the release of this plate. If I'm correct, this is the only pattern on this shape baseplate. I used to have it, but not any more. For some reason, the only raised plates for pirate sets were the ones with the pit and ramp, right? X-D
-
You're talking about the one and only Ron Paul, right? ;-) But I"m not sure. Does anyone know how much the auction is going for in USD? I swear I've seen this before, I just can't put my finger on it. This is a mystery, wrapped in a riddle, wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in a strange looking LEGO-type Harry Potter box, wrapped in plastic, wrapped in.... X-D
-
Well, its...............simple, I guess. ;-) But seriously, I'm interested to see what you can do with that baseplate with walls, turrents maybe, etc. Personally, I think that baseplate may work better for a pirate base instead of an imperial guard base because of the black/light gray exposed patches of bricks, but this should be unique! *sweet*
-
I've seen this before. I think its official, but I don't think its new. It might of been released a few years ago. Has anyone else seen this?
-
Me gusta tu banditos! *wub* Banditos, is that spanish for bandits....oh well, i like them just the same! *y* *y* *y*
-
Thats really cool! I always love to see mosaics! ;-)
-
Thats was great! *y* (But my real name is Jordan, just so you know, unless you are using Lordan as a nickname. ;-)
-
May I ask, did you find it in a set, or buy it on eBay? (Out of curiosity! ;-) )
-
...then Chuck Norris kicks Sir Nadroj so hard he turns back into the devilishly handsome Governor he was before. Then the great, and super cool Sir Nadroj valiantly... (Sorry, I could resist mates! :-D )
-
I've seen pictures of somebody else's and its like that too. If I remeber, I'll post pictures, but brickshelf seems to be down for now. :-/ Weird! :-(
-
Absolutely beautiful! I really need to get one of these! The box art is spectacular, also! *y* Lego keeps out-doing themselves, really! X-O
