  1. Wait... so Greg is just deciding who the Great Being is on a whim? Sigh. Can't say I'm surprised.
  2. Well, you know Bionicle is dead when this topic doesn't even notice a serial update.
  3. Darn! I forgot the traitor story. That was quite neat... very reminiscent of Ahkmou. I still stalk these forums occasionally, but a recent combination of Bionicle's death (as sets and main story go, anyway) and me commencing undergraduate studies has severely restricted my free time. Now I'm on Facebook all the time instead. Wait, I didn't say that. I'll prolly be hangin' out here some more if the serials continue to be this interesting.
  4. Personally, I love The Powers That Be -- it's the first time since Mata Nui's identity was revealed that we've had a mystery in the story. ^_^
  5. Thanks, Aanchir. If none of these are gonna be available, though, I don't see what all the fuss is about.
  6. Wait, wait. I'm not that familiar with the LDD concept. Are we actually, at some point, gonna be able to buy and physically hold in our hands stuff like purple Kalmah armor and Mata green Tahu fireswords??
  7. You can't tell me the Great Beings gave a damn about reinserting two so tiny pieces of rock into Spherus Magna. I mean, I know the scale is off ( I hope), but it's just too funny if this is what all of Bionicle has been leading up to.
  8. Since Teridax sounds like a crappy comic book villain, it's good. Makuta is much more mythologically awesome.
  9. I like how the airships are coming from the Endless Ocean rather than from below the island/Naho Bay. Someone really oughta give this artist a briefing of the actual story. Still a great pic, though.
  10. Did not see THAT coming. Nice! But I still wanna beat Greg with a stick for revealing awesome stuff in a crappy manner on BZP. T___T What's wrong with him?
  11. True that. In my dreams though, the game was MNOG on steroids. :P
  12. I like it, it's simple yet elegant. Perfectly conveys the tribal-techno feel of the story. Plus, it's better than some of the crap we got in later years, like the Hordika and Piraka animations. :P Also looks comparable to Bionicle Heroes, but that may just be me.
  13. I do. If that foot was 500 km long, I wouldn't be able to. :P
  14. If Mata Nui's feet are roughly the size of his head, they should be about 400-500 kilometers long. These are *definitely* not. xD
  15. EDIT: Spoilerized. -Ikk
  16. How about Mata Nui distracting Makuta while Tahu and Takanuva make it inside Metru Nui's core -- Tahu destroys the Antidemis, and Takanuva uses some Iden to place his spirit in the core. Then Taka and Mata unite the worlds. Or Tahu simply destroys the Antidermis, and Mata Nui stops Makuta's dead MU body from a disasterous fall. Or Makuta destroys the Matabot, Mata Nui's spirit returns to the Ignika, which then flies into Makuta's mind... and destroys the Antidermis or something. At any rate, I wish this was more epic. Something involving death and rebith. Dunno.
  17. All scans.
  18. So, um. Why couldn't the Great Beings just build a machine that fired magnetic rays at the Moons and pull 'em back? Why create two gargantuan robots for this ridiculously silly purpose? What's the second 'bot needed for, anyway? -_- "Stop! This is all getting very silly." -Ick
  19. I wub this serial.
  20. Holy momma. That is so friggin' beautiful ...! :D I want that as a wallpaper NAOW. -Ikk
  21. Thanksmuchiness! :D Now where did you find it? xD
  22. What is it with you people? Whenever there are new comic scans somewhere in the obscurity of BZP or online books like this with no obvious availability, you don't post the links? Now, where is that darn chapter 1!
  23. This set was probably the Star that least interested me at first sight, but your review really does make it look superb! I wonder -- might applying Berix's Mata blue body and hands to Nektann, and giving him some Mata blue feet (if any ones of fitting design exist) would remedy the drab colors? -Ikk
  24. Mother of stars! That was beautiful! :D That celebration at the end... so funky, so vibrant, and so silly -- really evokes the MNOG spirit! :D And awesome seeing Kapura at the end, presumably being the moment before he discovers the Bohrok as referenced in Comic 4. That scene was friggin' hilarious. :D Music is spifftastic. Villagers are spiffy. Onewa's groovy. What a joy. Thanks so much. :D -Ikk
  25. I like Sayger too, very surreal and stylized art. :D Waaay better than Elliot's crap. :P The colors of 06-07 comics helped immensely too, I think... and with his new standards, he's practially right up there with D'anda.
