    Perhaps if the rules were to be clarified beforehand, in common tongue, beings might work something out. But despite Wizard agreeing, Cronk will not play without knowing rules in advance. What were the terms?

    The Gray Wizard had always confused Cronk for calling himself a wizard. News of a brother that might actually be a powerful wizard, and not a nice one, troubled Cronk even more. Cronk knew Felton to be a man of conviction. If the Gray Wizard thought the Master of Regret was a threat to Felton, what chance did Cronk have? Cronk closed off his mind. Emptied it of all thought. He had tried for a time to drink regrets away. It helped for a while but Cronk could not forget. In the end, it was far easier for him just not to think. Focus on bashing and pray for redemption. Nyx, Cronk would like friend to take this Phoenix Essence. Cronk has two and Cronk has heard that Nyx's party was forced to use a couple. Cronk hopes that party does not have to split up again soon but take essence just in case.

    Cronk is sorry for being so harsh, Phil. Cronk knows that Phil wants to help defeat Wren. Cronk just wants Phil to understand that, while it would be nice to avenge friends that Wren has destroyed, employing sound strategy can prevent the loss of more friends. Cronk was hoping there would be time for quick rest before setting out again. Haldor, can healer with most ether patch up wounded? Party need to be at full health for what lies ahead. Does Cronk understand this correctly? Orc in funny hat can take friends to a being that can find the way into the temple?

Cronk depended on Phil. Rest of party depended on Phil. And Phil let pride get in way. Phil is lucky that friends still make it out alive. Friends very easily might not have. Cronk does not care if Phil is Emperor in Dastan. Eubric is not Dastan. If Phil cannot put pride aside for sake of party, then Phil might as well go back to empire because Phil is of no use here.

    It's a little crazy for day one. I think the scum will try to be as subtle as possible. While they do need to unite, they also need to not be suspected by us or we'll vote them out.

    This is interesting. A late run on the votes. Way to voice suspicion early in the day, guys. Isn't that when he was being the most dickish anyway? At this point I still find Flare more suspicious than Hinck. Despite Tammo's obviously well-thought-out argument that a scum tell must be a town tell, I still think something is off with Flare. I think the most suspicious thing Hinck has done today was vote for Flare for mayor. And there are a fair number of you guys out there that did the same thing, both because of the "noobs make good mayors" argument and after Flare's weird reaction to the vote. This business of Darkdragon and Hinck having to be on the same scum team because of the timing of their vote is stupid as well. Surely if they were, they would have been better with the timing. I don't think we'd learn much about the other's affiliation if we lynched one of them.
