  1. I never prevented any kills. Every time I blocked I was told if my target was goin' to do somethin' or not. The only time I actually succeeded in blockin' anyone was when I blocked a protector. If I'd blocked a killer, I'd 've told you guys by now. Since they haven't spoken up and since if you paid attention to who I have spoken to in private, I'll now reveal who they are. Officer Harrison is the second protector. The night I blocked him he was goin' to protect the Inspector. The night before he protected Chief Phelps and this was when his badge turned up the next day. I'm still not completely convinced of his innocence but there you go. I do find it strange that both protectors are on the police force. Serve and Protect, I guess. As for Farmer Simmons, I had my doubts at the beginnin' as well when we found the tunnels so close to his farm. But he really has helped us and been enthusiastic in searchin' for clues the last few days. Besides the tunnels and the vote, you have any other speculation?
  2. Wait. You're not the protector that I blocked. Would we as a town have been given two from the get-go? Can anyone confirm that you're a protector? Also the night that Ralph tried to kill Dolores was the night I blocked the protector. I've been assumin' that the reason the attempt on her life failed was because she was protected. When I still believed Dolores, I thought that she must have been protected by a townie so the one I blocked that same night was a commie. I even voiced my concerns about this to the mayor and Gloria since the protector knew it was me that blocked him. Thought for sure I was toast come nightfall. But nothin' came of it. If he's a commie, why am I still alive? I would think knowin' who a blocker was would trump tryin' to kill seemingly random people who didn't contribute much. Just puttin' these thoughts out there since it won't be long 'til the general catches up with us. I would be interested, too, in what the mayor has to say since I know I wasn't the only one he ever conversed with.
  3. If now you wanna say you just weren't payin' attention that's one thing. And I'll admit you said the same in a message before the ones I quoted. But just a while ago your defense was gettin' all smart-alecky about what the words "night action" mean. Most people, when reminded of what the general said like I reminded you, might have actually gone back and reread it, said somethin' like "oops" and moved on from there. You just kept insistin' that it didn't apply to you. If you are bein' completely honest with us and you were our investigator, heaven help us. How many more results might we have gotten? Not much of a point to this argument anyway considerin' no one seems to be payin' attention to it besides us. Everyone seems more focused on our pair of claimed vigilantes. I can't blame them, I just have nothin' to add to that argument not havin' had any interactions with the pair of them.
  4. Here we go. I'll put it in context with my previous statement to you: And you replied: How is that different from what I've been saying?
  5. Yes but General Stanley clearly stated "At the end of each chapter, you will each be able to use your night action." I'm not makin' anythin' up. When I reminded you of the General's statement, you told me that god specifically told you that you couldn't use your abilities at the end of chapters. If you'd like me to quote you word for word, I can. There's still some other facts that need clearin' up. Your testimony in the Laura Jefferson case is fishy as well. The time period between when you said heard the argument and when she fell off the building isn't enough time for her to have gotten up there. Especially since the rope that was found up there makes it seem she didn't go up there freely. I'd also like to be told again when you met Patrick. Was it before or after Laura's death? We know that you worked for another senator at the same time Patrick was in Washington. And that you were even here in town lookin' for him when you witnessed the murder.
  6. That's a good question, Krista. I think it must be somethin' that could only be used a limited number of times. My first thought was convertin' but those we know she has targeted have claimed otherwise. The other possibility is that She's telling the truth about bein' limited to using it at nights. Maybe Stanley didn't have the authority to let her use her ability more often because she is not on the same side as the rest of us. Maybe the communists were exempted from Stanley's empowerment. Don't know why any townies would be singled out not to use their ability.
  7. Even if he did not use advanced building techniques or spend weeks perfecting it, this is his MOC. That's most of this site, isn't it? Sharing MOC? How is that possibly spam? You may not like his MOC but he does have the right to post it.
  8. I got to drive a boat and now I get horses? Awesome! I do think it's time to share some info. I've been able to lock people in their homes and prevent them from goin' out at night. 1st night- Blocked Dieter - no action 2nd night (after Chp 6) - Blocked Patrick - no action but I did see Gloria watchin' him as well and saw Dolores leavin' her bed. after Chp 8- Blocked a protector that was goin' to protect Matt. I'll give them a chance to say who they are. After Chap 9 - Blocked Matt- Wasn't doing anythin' but bein' shot. After Chp 10- Blocked Dolores - Wasn't performin' any action. After 11 - Blocked Ackerson - wasn't performin' any action. When I talked to Dolores, not letting on that I had blocked her, I asked if she had investigated anyone since we had last talked the day of the vote. She then said that General Stanley's telling everyone they could use night actions after chapter breaks didn't apply to her. That sounds like a lie to me to cover up the fact that she is not our investigator. I had been suspicious of her before, but this pushed her to the top of my suspect list.
  9. Um, I don't think telling me you had an important night action in your first message back to me was being very careful. I trusted you, though, mostly from your actions in the first day Whitefang vote. I even told Walter that I thought you weren't scum when he asked what I thought about you.
  10. Yeah, guys, I kinda need a heading or something. Right now I think we're just goin' forward. Stanley will catch up to us sooner or later. What do we do now? Is this the final chapter? Are we supposed to vote or something, or just have a lengthy discussion?
  11. Wizard Duel Round 3 Kestrel Kingfisher | 2------Vs.-----Okay Turkoglu | 1 Stupefy ~ 0 ---------------------- Expelliarmus ~ 0 High ~ 0 -----------------------Stupefy ~ 1 Low ~ 1 ----------------------- Mid ~ 0 Mid ~ 0 ------------------- Low ~ 1 Protego ~ 0 ----------------------- High ~ 0 Health: 1 --------------------- Health: 0 Okay disarms his opponent and evens up the match by stunning Kingfisher. The Ravenclaw finds his wand and hits Turkoglu with another leg-locker curse. He falls over with a surprised look on his face. The match over, Kestrel helps Okay up. "Wanna go down to the kitchens and get some ice cream?" the Ravenclaw says. "Would I ever!" the Hufflepuff replies. And that's just what they did. Congratulations, Captain. That was some match. Update your profiles accordingly.
  12. Wizard Duel Round 2 Kestrel Kingfisher | 2------Vs.-----Okay Turkoglu | 3 Protego ~ 0 ---------------------- Stupefy ~ 0 Mid ~ 1 -----------------------High ~ 0 Stupefy ~ 1 ----------------------- Low ~ 0 Low ~ 0 ------------------- Expelliarmus ~ 0 Protego ~ 0 ----------------------- Mid ~ 0 Health: 2 --------------------- Health: 1 Rising from the floor, Turkoglu fires a stunning spell at the young Ravenclaw but Kestrel gets a shield up to block it. Kingfisher then shoots a spell at Okay that hits him in the chest. Just when the Hufflepuff gets to his feet again, Kestrel hits him with a stunning spell. Having had enough, Okay disarms his opponent and tries to even the match up but Kingfisher deftly catches his wand and protects himself again with a shield charm. A surprising second round. Send for round 3 when ready. I'm going to bed now, though, so results will have to wait.
  13. Sorry for the delay. Wizard Duel Round 1 Kestrel Kingfisher | 5------Vs.-----Okay Turkoglu | 5 Stupefy ~ 1 ---------------------- Low ~ 0 Protego ~ 0 -----------------------Expelliarmus ~ 1 High ~ 0 ----------------------- High ~ 1 Mid ~ 0 ------------------- Stupefy ~ 1 Low ~ 1 ----------------------- Mid ~ 0 Health: 2 --------------------- Health: 3 Okay decides to go back to get more knowledge at Hogwarts and is not even back in the castle for five minutes when the young Ravenclaw Kingfisher challenges him to a duel. In desperate need for an excuse not to go through all the work of unpacking, Turkoglu accepts the challenge. They find an empty classroom and begin. Kestrel starts out by surprising Okay with a stunning spell. Recovering quickly, the Hufflepuff disarms the Ravenclaw and sends him sprawling across the room. He lands under a bookshelf and a particularly heavy book lands on his head. Kestrel remains undaunted and tries a high spell. Okay does the same but his speel overpowers Kestrel's and the Ravenclaw ends up on his rear again. Okay follows up with a stunning spell. Kingfisher gets to his feet again and launches a spell at Turkoglu's legs. It connects and the Hufflepuff falls over as his legs lock together. Send for round 2 when ready.
  14. Of the four mentioned, my favorite is still the Elf. Everything about him is so lovely. It is wierd that he's trying to use a bow and a shield but I'm glad he came with both so you can use him as an archer or infantry. Since I think posing with a sword looks less awkward for a minifig, I just stick a dagger of time in his hands and he's good to go. He looks awesome with one in both hands as well. Really dangerous, too. I was never a huge enough fan of the spartan to try and track him down. He's nice and all but too many people want every one they can get their hands on. It was hard enough to get my two elves.( I originally wasn't going to get two but happened to start two trades simultaneously.) My other favorite "army builder" is the sailor. I love that he's more common too. I got two when I purchased mine online and decided to keep my extra instead of trading. Someday I'll make an "On the Town" MOC...
  15. Thanks, Hinck. I've got to get better at reading signals from people. In the first part of that day when I was just cluelessly happy to have been recruited to the masons, I took Rufus' interrogating messages as just friendly requests for clarifications and thoughts from a fellow monk. I didn't take his keeping us all in separate message threads as a sign that something was up. Or when he told me he thought the writeboard had been infiltrated and not to write on it. I really should have known that not all was right in the temple. Then the hammer fell. I log in that morning and a message from Fangy pops up telling me how sorry he is. That can't be good. I check the thread and as I'm reading it the lynching vote is cast. Darn time zones. I bombarded Rufus with everything I could think of that pointed to my innocence and kept checking to see if he read the messages I continued to send. I knew if I couldn't convince him before he logged off for good that night, there wouldn't be enough time to reverse the conviction. Luckily he realized the truth and I went on to actually contribute as a Mason. I think Fangy was pulling for me as well since we had some good conversations throughout the game. And thank God for the Foog. He started talking with me as well during my crisis and pointed out the Badboy mentioning the Masons thing and I added that to my defense.
  16. I think you have Frankie confused with me. And findin' love is no reason to be killed. Especially when the object of my affection has been brutally knifed by communist(s). I say lock 'em both up. Their killin' has gotten us no closer to findin' the commie bastards and odds are it'll just get more loyal citizens killed.
  17. We were never sure that Arjay was the last scum, especially when you put two blacked-out people in that flashback scene. If Inconspicuous hadn't voted for Arjay the final day, we might have tried to use the cursed wand at him that night. What a mess that would have been! We could have had an exploding turkey.
  18. I'd like to examine the area at the bottom of the stairs to see if there is anything that might indicate a trapdoor or if there are any objects scattered about that might be clues.
  19. Thanks, KDM! Time to get started on my road back to Auror.
  20. Sorry for driving you nuts. You should have seen how I bombarded Rufus with PMs, especially the day he tried to lynch me. You actually got off lucky.
  21. Oh, here's my character bio:
  22. Hooray! We won! I'd like to congratulate my fellow survivors. Especially Rufus, who worked so hard to make the win possible, and Whitefang, who chose to believe in me as well. I'll admit I had very little clue of what was going on most of the game. It wasn't until I became a Monk that it started to make sense. And then it almost ended for me immediately. So glad that Rufus saw the true traitor in time. Well played, Lord Arjay, you almost got me. Spectacular game, Hinckley! It was truly awesome. Thanks for letting me play in it. Can't wait for you to let us in on everything that was happening.
  23. Let's not fight like, well, cats and dogs. It was a good try, Kaley. You almost got me lynched for your treachery yesterday. You succeeded in infiltrating a very secretive group and caused the downfall of several of them. Let's look at the first night after you joined the Masons. Booker was set upon with arson once again and Becka was killed with a stolen knife. The scum must have known Booker, the only confirmed townie for all the non-masons to rally behind, was not protected that night. How did they know? Why was Becka murdered the same night? So she could not revive Booker like she did Helen. How did they know she was the reviver? It was perfectly orchestrated. Too perfectly orchestrated. You are the only one who could have known that both Booker was unprotected and Becka was the Reviver.
  24. I weep for the loss of so many dear friends over the last few days. Hopefully this will bring the nightmare to an end. I, too Vote: Kaley Cat (Lord Arjay).
