1) Big Fish scene - Magician, Mime Artist and Circus Clown Entry (Build by lorax) - 1 point - The lighting really sells the recreation of the scene. 8) Night At The Museum 2 scene - Pharaoh and Mafia Gangster Entry (Build by Ninja Nin) - 1 point - Both the window and Oscar the Grouch are excellently done. 10) White Fang scene - Zombie and Eskimo Entry (Build by Cecilie) - 1 point - It looks like a simple scene from the top, but it's not. I'm very impressed with how you managed to suspend all of the underwater bits. -

Cronk must lead again? So be it. Cronk will do Cronk's best.

Robbie! How could this happen?! This used to be a nice quiet town and now people are dropping off left and right!

Suburbia - Confirmation/Discussion
CorneliusMurdock replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'll be out of town this weekend and coming back on monday. If I get the chance to check in, I will but I don't know if that will be a possibility. A lot of my weekends until after New Years are going to be like this. I hate having to travel. -
I'm of the opinion that things should be kept as simple as possible. I'd say limiting everyone to two artifacts is plenty. That's already enough for most QMs to worry about. you figure a party with six characters each with two artifacts makes 12 different effects that the QM has to take into account when tallying damage. And that doesn't include weapons or shields. The more artifacts we're allowed, the harder it will be on the QMs in the long run. I'm all for loot, but I think it needs to be earned and I think that a hero that carries 50 items into battle is silly. Things like the crystal ball or items that are automatically sold for gold at the end of quests should be handed out more frequently than special items that boost stats. Special items should be rare. That's what makes them special. As for what a minifig can wear, that argument just gets silly. I don't think we should argue about what a minifig could or could not wear all at the same time. Power gamers make the game itself less fun and it;s the type of arguments that those types of players have. I also don't think the character portraits are supposed to be factual representations of the equipment they have. They are fun visualizations of our characters. Arguing this way also puts limits on non-traditional minifig characters. I don't think Skrall or Bob the house elf should be penalized for their players thinking outside the box when creating them. Artifacts are magic. They're one size fits all.

No offense lady, but you're Mrs. Jordan not Mrs. Montgomery. I was askin' her.
-
I'd like to ask Mrs. Montgomery if she was planning to run away with Alex.

I thought that was Cronk but it's hard to tell since his helmet doesn't quite strike a unique profile. He really seems to get around. Fitting that he's with his first two friends he made at the hall. Great picture, too. Very dramatic.

I'd like to read any labels on the pills.

He can attack enemies with the staff but he would heal them instead of damaging them. This does do damage to the undead, though, since regular healing damages them.

Rufus's 375 Yellow Castle Restoration Project
CorneliusMurdock replied to Rufus's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
It's so very lovely, Rufus! I think the decals all turned out marvelously (even the ones you didn't think were perfect). Makes me want to make a castle of my very own. Someday... -
Well. let's see what's in that secret compartment, then. I'll take a look.

Cronk likes people but not in a soilent green sort of way. Cronk much prefers chicken (so it's really Atramor that should worry about that ). The healing staff works like an attack. You "attack" an ally with it during a battle and if the "hit" is successful, you heal them instead of damaging them. Sandy has also clarified that if you roll "damage", it's treated as a miss and the attacker does not get hit by the target but they don't heal them either.

Should we call the liquor store and ask if Alex was there the night of the Chief's death?
-
Do any of the devices in the box still work?
-
I'd like to take a glance at the last few entries made before the Chief's death in the diary.

Hello, Knight Glorfindel. Cronk is indeed Cronk's name. It is Cronk's pleasure to meet Glorfindel. Cronk hopes Cronk can go out and bash some evil really soon.

I'd like to know what the batteries might have gone to and examine the glass.

Enterprise 1701-D [LDD MOC]
CorneliusMurdock replied to TheLonelySquireOfGothos's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
The little bridge is awesome! My only advice is making the saucer section wider and the nacelles thinner. I think that'll really improve the overall shape. -
I don't know if Vader endorsing apples would make me buy them more or make me buy them less. He's not exactly the picture of perfect health... Plus he's kinda evil.
