Definately Halo. I have wanted Halo LEGO for quite some time.
-
Very well made! I like how you made room for speeder bikes :) It reminds me of a clone base one of my friends built. I have wanted to build something like this, but have never gotten around to it, and don't have enough gray bricks. (most are used in castle stuff) KUTGW

I would be greatly appreciative if anyone would be willing to make a decal for Commander Gree's helmet. I would be using a regular Episode III clone trooper helmet. I already have leg, arm and torso decals from Saber-Scorpion, I just need helmet decals. What happens if Original Trilogy wins, (which is almost a sure thing) and the Jedi Temple wins? That would be a prequel set. I hope it's the Endor Bunker. Endor Rebel Soldiers would be so awesome, and maybe we'd get Ewoks that actually have faces! And more Scout Troopers! *wub* But then 501st Clones would be really awesome too. Dylan

Indiana Jones Movie Teaser Poster made from LEGO
Turaga of Force replied to LegoLyons's topic in LEGO Licensed
Wow, very nice! The real version of the second one doesn't open (it says I don't have access to the page) but the one with the hat, whip and box is very similar to the real one. Well done! -
Color variation in UCS Star Destroyer?

Oh, that's very interesting. Thanks for pointing that out! -
Color variation in UCS Star Destroyer?
Turaga of Force replied to Turaga of Force's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Okay, thanks a lot for the information! -
Is it true that some copies of the UCS Star Destroyers use the original light gray while others use light blay? If this is true, is there any way to know before opening the set? (unless of course its bought online) And does this ever happen with the Death Star? Thanks! Dylan

Many years ago, I thought I saw a little flying saucer when my family was driving. It looked about the size of what could be a remote-controlled one but there were no houses, businesses, farms, etc nearby so that seems unlikely. I'm not really sure what it was.

Wow, that's a nice display! I especially like your Cody! Note to Order66: Cody is a custom.

Definately the original gray. Both because its the original and it looks better.

AWESOME. FINALLY THE MINIFIG PACKS ARE COMING BACK!!!! I missed the minifig packs so much. The ones with minifigs on stands, and the packs that came with 5-6 minifigs each. I am so excited... Hopefully they will make them for other themes too... maybe an Exo Force robots battle pack!

Some of my old Star Wars customs
Turaga of Force replied to Bobskink's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Wow, those look great. Commander Cody is so detailed... and the rest, with the custom head pieces are really cool too. I must be hard to get the head pieces so accurate... -
6 cats + Zamor spheres = 6 happy cats. LOL. They love playing with my Zamor spheres, the real ones and some foam golf-ball sized ones I have, and they jump on my BIONICLE shelves, and lay on my City, Star Wars, Castle, Jungle, Vikings, etc stuff to get my attention. They are really careful though, for example on the shelves, they hardly even mess it up. Though it gets annoying when they do. Once one knocked Battle of Metru Nui off a shelf... They're really nice cats :) And the fish don't do anything... :P Before the hamster died, (and before the castle got a ball kicked into it and broke) he liked King Leo's Castle. Pets are awesome! LEGO is awesome! Pets + LEGO = Happy pets = awesomeness!

"Popular" Customs?
Turaga of Force replied to Turaga of Force's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Okay, thanks a lot! Like I said, as far as selling, I am more interested in painting, it doesn't have as much quality concern. I'll mention what type I use, mention its not for rough play and it should be fine. Painted clones can get a fair amount of money, too, for example, check out this auction. A painted clone for over $20. Buy a battle pack for $10, customize the 2 plain white clones, sell them for $20 or so each, you made $30 profit and have the Shock Trooper, Star Corps Trooper, and parts left over. As for decals, I have ordered from Saber-Scorpion and am really happy with his decals, but would like to start making my own for myself. Maybe if some turn out really good I'd sell them too -- look at this! $61 for 2 decaled figures (at least they appear to be decaled) They aren't even that sharp of decals! Thanks again! Dylan -
I am new to minifig customization but would like to get more involved. I have bought decals but never made my own. I am going to start making more of my own stuff, but I also would be interested in making custom figures to sell on eBay, as they go for a lot and then I can buy more LEGO sets :) lol. My question: What minifigs are the most popular? If I were to make customs to sell what should I make? Clone Troopers seem popular to me, especially jungle camo (green/brown painted) ones. Any advice? Also, for myself, I am thinking more about decals, for selling on eBay, paint. Thanks! Dylan

I agree, this could be a really cool movie. In 2004 the BIONICLE instruction booklets had some CGI images that looked real (as opposed to seeming animated) so there is definately the potential to create a movie like this. I would go to it in theater a bunch of times... buy it the day it came out... lol

Very nice :D I like the head, and I like that you have the UFO Alien Leader (his name escapes me at the moment...) as the driver. (at least I think he is supposed to be the driver... lol) Great job KUTGW!!!!!!

There are lots of OOP Ep 2 Obi Wan Jedi Starfighters... some going for under $10. http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?s...ntrypage=search But I know what you mean. The old sets go for a lot cause people who can afford it are willing to pay that much. I am a BIONICLE completist, and it is really hard to afford. I still am only about half done with 2007.

Star Wars 10th Anniversary Set Logistics
Turaga of Force replied to Starwars4J's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I voted Minifig scale, Original Trilogy, ground base/location, and looking good. I would LOVE to see an Ewok village, Endor bunker or some other awesome Endor set Edit: 2 more things: It should come with at least one minifig exclusive to it, maybe if its an Endor set, a rebel soldier or two with the Endor rebel helmets. And, it would be really awesome, and please LOTS of fans, of all ages, if it has YELLOW SKIN. I would buy it just cause it has yellow skin... :P I think lots of other people would to. -
I also love KOTOR. I have custom Nihilus, Sion, and Mandalorian minifig using decals from Saber Scorpion. I would love an Ebon Hawk set :)
-
Um... that's the same person. He has a BrickShelf and web site. Ya, those are really cool creations... and he sells decals for the minifigs too. I wish I was as good at building Halo creations as him...

They're stickered ones in the AT-TE. Anyway, as far as I know you'd just have to get it on BL. Unless someone on EB has one for trade/sale.

Edit: Nevermind
