  1. I still have not been able to find these anywhere in stores! I traditionally go to my local Fred Meyer when minifigure series are released, and buy an entire box. For one, this guarantees that I'll get a full set, and have extras to sell or trade at a later time, too. But my Fred Meyer still hasn't gotten Series 11 in yet, and I haven't been able to find them anywhere else, where I can buy them without having to do it at random online, with no guarantees as to what I'll get.
  2. Ralph, I'm a C-17 pilot. For a while now, I've wanted to make a quality Lego C-17 model. Would LOVE it if you'd have any interest in doing so!
  3. I might have missed it--is there a barcode cheat sheet list out for Series 2, like there was for Series 1? That made all the difference last time.
  4. Anybody else finding out that the minifigs are sold out? I was at the Lego Store near Baltimore the other day, my one and only chance to try to get the collectible minifigs, (I'm enroute my travels, headed to Iraq for a year) and they said they sold out right away when they got each of their two shipments. They said they're getting one more shipment, and then Series 1 is done. ARRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH... it would be nice if actual COLLECTORS (ahem... i.e. ME) had the chance to collect these! Even through the online Lego store, if you wanted to just buy a crapload of them to make sure you get all 16, you can't. Limited to 5? Really? Come on.....

FWIW, I was just at the Lego Store near Baltimore, and the rep there did tell me this was coming out as a Eiffel Tower/Taj Majal type set. Also said the Winter Toy Shop was being re-released, an updated Maersk ship, and some other cool stuff that I hadn't read about here. Looks like 2010 is shaping up to be a very good year!

My take on the new Public Transportation set: 1. Yay! I thought it was the best of the three choices, and I'm glad it won. 2. Hmm... A touch disappointed. I thought there would be a bit more to it. Perhaps a huge rail/bus station. 3. Great, we've got a tram now! 4. Yes, I'll buy it! Looking forward to it.
  7. Yes, many great entries, and I wish I could vote for more. But... One point each for: 17) 50) 54)

I'm one of those that voted over, and over, and over, for the Public City Transport in the TRU votes. I figure that we all JUST got a city square from Lego. And we already have a couple different versions of truck stops. (not to mention truck stops aren't exactly exciting stuff) But if we can get a bus station, with multiple busses, trains, or combinations, maybe with a nice building along the lines of Grand Central Station, or another monorail-type tram, THEN we've got a special set that I want to add to my collection!!!
