The whole scene was designed to have a retro feel to it, from the minifigs (all yellow), droidekas and the N-1 starfighters with appropriate accessories. AC PS. All set for tomorrow!

Much like the wheelchair for Professor X, I went for the details rather than getting the scale right for the minifig. AC

They're trying to get better as you've seen with the Ewok Village and Jabba's Palace/Rancor pit. The new Cantina seems also to point in that direction. AC

Just reminding that the event is this Saturday and have done the final library visit to work out all the details have been finalized. Hope to see some of you there! AC

Also did one before but the detail made it oversized when put side by side with another minifig. Sometimes you can't have everything. AC

Improved skeletal bike with upgraded engine, gas tank and a kickstand to boot! Only non-Lego parts used are the pair of BW horns and the thin black wire in the chains to make it so. AC

The vehicles are the original sets except possibly from some minor mods. These vehicles are official Lego sets. :) There has to be some action going on in any diorama scene that I've done. Pretty pointless if all the minifigs just stood at attention unless it's the Emperor's arrival. Again, original first version sets. Yes, I'm also into retro type ships as well. It's old but it will do. Not anymore as this has long been deconstructed. AC

Despite the efforts by Rogue Squadron, the power generator was eventually destroyed by the advancing Imperial forces. The remaining base personnel proceeded to evacuate, as the 501st Legion entered the base. It would prove a major victory for the Galactic Empire, and would heavily stymie the Rebels. Built this MOC last year and have taken pics but never got to post them, so it's your first look at it. AC

Rebuilding completed! AC PS. Now I got to disassemble it again to pack it for the May 31 event.

You gotta wait and see like everybody else. It's similar in shape to one of the speeders in the CW series except that it's smaller. AC
