Grand Opening ROCKEFELLER LEGO STORE NYC!
Legononymous replied to LegoDad42's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Same here! I'm really enjoying my adventure into LEGO. I really enjoy the silly world I create with them. I can't wait to visit the LEGO store though. A three hour trip turns into a six hour trip when you factor in the ride home. Still better then nothing though. I might head there on a Friday and come back on a Saturday. Better start saving up money now. -
Is TLG pursuing the wrong strategy?
Legononymous replied to Scorpion's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I would love to see more impulse sets having to do with castle accessories and furniture kits. Like a thrown or knights armor on a stand. Maybe a big table or kitchen accessories. A bed and bedroom furnishings. But I would also like to see more kingdom add ons. Like make modular castle rooms. A stable, great hall. Sleeping area, armory, eating hall, chapel...etc. I really like having the castle but having kits that allows you to expand it and furnish it would be awesome. This is the approach and stratagy I would like to see LEGO go. It would work for most themes. -
Grand Opening ROCKEFELLER LEGO STORE NYC!

I'm envious! The closest store to me is about three hours away Not close enough to be convenient. Do they have the exact same stuff on the LEGO s@h website that they have at a LEGO store pick a brick wall? -
I like this and the story that goes with it. You can see the fear on his face.

Kingdoms Torso printing problem fixed?
Legononymous replied to ThatGuyWithTheBricks's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I have 5 of the Knights showdown and out of the 5, 3 had pink. The last two I had purchased later. I called LEGO, they were aware of the problem and sent me correct upper bodies. The Prison tower rescue also had an issue with the white that is on the red piece that goes onto the horse. I didn't notice that til after the fact and didn't call about. had The same problem with two others from the outpost attacks that I have. I'm positive that they have corrected the issue. My only gripe is that they don't ask for the defective stuff be sent back. Makes me feel as though I'm getting something for free. So my question is what do you do with the pink torsos? -
II've been wanting to get this set myself. In fact, I hope to get at least two and make one big castle. I would love to have something large enough to add furniture. I do agree though that Dragon knights need their own.

Looks really nice! I can already see you have creativity and talent. Good job!

Very creative!!! Love the added touch of the club holder.

They aren't real good for storage but I started buying the actual LEGO storage containers. I paid $6.07 and they came with a free base plate. So That I felt was worth it. Plus they have either a minifig head on the front or a scene.

REVIEW: 7950 Knight's Showdown
Legononymous replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm commenting as well about the lion torso being pink where it should be white. It's a lot closer to pink then it is white and I have five sets. I'm too picky. Update! Just opened two new sets and the torsos are white where they are supposed to be white. Seems the previous problem is fixed. -
Just wondering if you've given any more thought to selling your custom sets? I had been wondering why this hasn't been done before. I don't have a lot of random pieces to try and come up with what I want. It would be nice to purchase custom kits or buy requested ones. For example, smaller kits to furnish a castle or home.

could I get pics of the knights and crossbow attack? I have the new tribal hunter.

Trading Collectable Minifigs Series 1, 2 and 3
Legononymous replied to danim's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Looking to trade with someone else also from the US. I have scuba, ninja and crash test. Looking for clown, zombie, robot and cheerleader. Also interested in trading for other minifigures. Looking for western, castle, pirate, imperial and the movie sets. -
No problem, my only intention was to find more people local that were also LEGO fans.
-
Would it be possible to have a thread dedicated to joining those that wanted to be by region? I would like to know who is near me that is also a LEGO fan. Interested in trading, gaming, building...etc. If this hasn't been done already. If this is already being done somewhere else please let me know. Thanks a bunch! David

Has anyone came up with a good table top Castle based game? I found through searching some pirate ones but maybe missed Castle. I don't know that I know anyone near me into LEGO willing to play but I think it would be fun.

Ted fell for the " new guy prank " at his new job at the Living History Museum. He was told he would be working in the Native American scene. So he went to the Costume room and got into costume as an Indian before the museum opened, then followed his Supervisor to where he would be working. When he arrived to the location, this is what he saw. Mine is for the Indian.

REVIEW: 7950 Knight's Showdown
Legononymous replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I can't speak on this as compared to the older sets as I have none yet. However. I really love this set. I like the bucket helm. What is the difference between that and a barrel helm? Are they the same and just forms of Great helms? I plan on getting at least two more. I want to try and only focus on three themes. This being one of them. -
Great review! I do have one question for anyone that has this set. On my dragon knight, his arm on I believe his left sticks out to the point of where you Can see where his arm/ wrist gets smaller. This common? I can't think of any reason why this is happening and haven't come across it before. I'm guessing they use the same molds for all mini figures.

. Quick question. I'm on my cell but what does Shop@Home mean? Is it a specific store or website?
