  1. aww, it's adorable. And it really reminds me of my 6590 Vacation Camper:
  2. The airplanes in Norway, Sweden and Denmark are all grounded (UK, Ireland, Belgium and the netherlands too).. France and germany about now also I think.. Our prime minister is stuck in USA and our crown prince is stuck in the UK :P Might last weeks, they say.
  3. Absolutely incredible! The work you've put into this is astonishing! If I had had a hat, I would've taken it off now.
  4. Really nice job, Matija! Can't wait to see it with the buildings below too :) I actually work there, and the first thing I thought - We got to buy this one and display it! haha ^^
  5. Found the 8275 Motorized Bulldozer in the shop and bought it, wooo
  6. I actually found this one in a shop today, just had to buy it. Too bad they hadn't put down the price :P Oh well, I had to have it and it's a blast to build. Loving the good, old studs.
  7. I actually bought this set for the B-model.. I wanted a flat-bed truck :) But some modifications will be done to the cabin.
  8. Awesome building, you could fool me into believing it was an official set. Magnificent!
  9. Sorry to bring back an old topic, but I just bought this set and wow is it great! Just finished the first floor, took me a couple of hours with a slow, tedious pace. Did some mistakes because of the colors aren't always so easy to interpret, but I was able to backtrack. Can't wait to get the other modular sets, because this is something quite different from what I'm used to. Absolutely lovely.
  10. Remember building a fan with holder when I was little.. Technic motor and a blade from a technic helicopter, worked wonders in my hot little room when building ^^
  11. This is something that bothers me when ordering sets too.. I ordered GG on sunday, and it still hasn't been sent. Some weeks ago I ordered City Corner and some base plates, it was a monday and it got shipped on thursday. I've never experienced such a slow process with parts/sets that's in store. But then again, I might be demanding - but when ordering whatever from the interweb, I've gotten used to my goods being shipped the next day
  12. I bought a 3177 small car today. It's a very nice little automobile.
  13. Looking nice, Perterz! You've really gotten some nice details into it, really liking the "lamps", just like on the Crane truck.
  14. Had my 5580 on display since 1990, until february 2010 - when I dropped it by accident - all parts were still good, even after the drop to the living room floor. It was dusty though, so I got it cleaned with an old toothbrush since I was rebuilding it anyway, part by part it got clean again - except for the yellowing :/

Wow, this looks awesome. Great work, can't wait to see it finished!
  16. Is this in the shop or Shop@home? Here in norway, at least in Shop@home, it's NOK 1699.. + shipping.. Almost 2000 NOK.. Nasty price difference tho.
  17. My number is no set number, but it is backwards!
  18. Really nice review, I might impulse buy a set or two ^^
  19. I were a bit afraid of that though. Well thanks, I'll have to see what I'll do :)
  20. While the colors won't match spectaculary well, it would still work. I still seem to read it as 10 studs wide, when I look at the bottom of the helicopter. http://www.peeron.com/scans/5542-1/27/ I'll customize the trailer a bit, hopefully it'll fit well enough visually.
  21. Hey, I've got the 5590 truck+trailer+chopper, and also the 5580 Highway rig. I just picked up another set of the 5590, and I thought the 5580 needed a trailer too. No biggie there. I've got all the parts for another :) My question is, I can't just build a trailer without having something fitting on it, and there the 5542 Black thunder came into mind. I'm not sure about it's size, but it seems to be 10 studs wide at the base, the same as the helicopter from 5590. Ergo, a nice fit. It should fit, shouldn't it? Have anyone tried? A bit curious as the 5590 helicopter seems a bit smaller.
  22. Thank you so much for these link, I really enjoyed seeing the electrifying of those RC tracks. I have some 9V tracks, but not enough - and as he also states in the article, the prices on eBay are a bit over my likings. Off to get some copper tape! :)
  23. Nice, do I see some suspension parts there?
  24. Very nice, this is exactly what I want to build - but I don't think I've got enough parts - or expertise :P But thanks for the pictures :)
  25. Indeed, I also really love your site and can't wait for the updates for the upcoming years. Anyway, if you would like to, I have my own server and a connection without any BW-limits I would like to help out with, if you are interested. Just PM me :)
