  1. OK, 6 gear + reverse is even more challenging. This would certainly require the car to be bigger, like for example Sheepo's Bugatti Veyron. This has 7 speeds + reverse remote controlled gearbox. But a 6-speed automatic gearbox would propasbly only be possible using Mindstorms.
  2. I've created a car once (the one in my logo) that had a 5-speed gearbox with reverse, independent suspension, all-wheel drive, even all-wheel steering. OK, it was a bit bigger (Scale 1/10 I think). I've got the Gallardo here at hand: by moving the central differential to the left or right side (where is plenty of space) and maybe placing the chairs outward half a stud, I think you could create enough space for a gearbox. And Crowkiller's Murcielago proves that suspension and working steering wheel is also possible. So I believe it can be done, although it won't be easy.
  3. Oh, a Technic Lambo would be great. But then it really should have suspension, which the two technic Ferrari's, 8145 an 8653 don't have. And a real Lambo-supercar including gearbox, rotating steering-wheel would be totaly awesome.
  4. Yes, this guy indeed makes very very nice engines. Great variety as well.
  5. This is really really nice. A true transformer as nothing needs to be disassembled.
  6. This studless version is sweet. Although I don't have the 8868 myself, I did manage to build it once using instruction-scans on peeron and using different colours. IMO indeed one if the best Technic sets ever.
  7. Very very nice, I really like this one, it's kind cute. And the ending of the video is cool too !!
  8. Yes, this has been spotted here already, but indeed it's very nice.
  9. Emilus did a wonderful job building this one. It is absolutely astounding. (& as Zblj said, original)
  10. I have slready seen this one on Lowlug, and it's sooooo incredible, huge & mind(storm)blowing !! And those horses moving their legs, just brilliant.
  11. At first I thought: "where are the wheels ?", but then I saw that they were used in an unusual, but very cool, creative and original way. Very nice model !!! (Off-topic) By the way, your Harrier (which hasn't been posted here yet) is also very very beautiful !
  12. WOW, This thing is really really huge !!! I'd love to see a video of the (pneumatic) functions in action.
  13. This one is definately awesome. The fact that it's yellow (and NOT red) makes it even cooler. And very nice to see working suspension and working steering-wheel, features a LEGO Supercar must have IMO. Great work !!!
  14. My compliments to the builder, this is very very nice. You don't seen to be afraid to get your lego wet.
  15. Indeed really nice. I like the way the left & right side can move flexibly.
  16. By memorizing which gears you have to click in each room, I managed to get a score of 20174.
  17. That's what I'm gonna try next. I chose NOT to charge my second 8878 and use it right away, cause Milan's and Sariel's 8878's were already full when they received them. Both are working now. When they're empty, I'll recharge them both and see what happens then.... Thanx for the help sofar guys !!
  18. I'd vote vote a new supercar as well. And indeed NOT a red one. An orange e.g. one would be too cool !! And as a real fan of PF I'd love to see expansions of this system.
  19. The description on the transformer is exactly what is should be: 10v, 700 mA, I checked (3 times). So that shouldn't be the problem.
  20. I just got home from work, and the red light was still blinking :-( It had been connected to the transformer for almost 30 hours.... OK, so I guess it's safe to try and use it. So I did, and the battery performs well. But I don't know how long it should last, cause it's my first 8878. I did buy 2 rechargeable batteries, so I'm charging the second one now with the same (original) transformer. If it also takes long to charge, than maybe the transformer isn't what it should be.1
  21. Haven't done that yet, because it was a new battery and the manual says it has to be fully charged the first time. But I will propably try that next.
  22. I wish mine would do the same, but the red light keeps blinking.
  23. Nice model. And in his Brickshelf-folder you can see what outdoor-trucktrial can do for your parts: Sand is especially bad for LEGO-gears, but you do get a lot of outdoor-driving fun.
  24. Yesterday I received my new 8878 Rechargeable Battery. In the (very limited) manual it says: "Fully charge when use the first time". I assumed this means fully charge before first use (manual isn't clear about that). And charging should take about 4 hours. My new & unused 8878 has been charging for over 20 hours now, but the red light is still flashing, indicating it's still charging. Is this normal ? Or am I doing something wrong or is my 8878 bad ? I'd appreciate to read your experiences, thanx.
