  1. B-PM-02C After it was decided to build a new hospital outside town, investers turned the old one into a private clinic. It is a very popular hospital to give birth in, so they have had to expand the maternity ward by building an extra section at the back of the hospital. The architecture for the facade is based on a real hospital in my home city of Oslo (although the real one is much bigger ), and the ambulance is modelled after how ambulances looked in Oslo around the 80s-90s. Here you can see the new section that was built. The reception area, with a waiting area and a doctor's office. The building has an elevator that works in a similar way to the one in Town Hall, but this one has sliding doors! (Check out my flickr for pics) The popular maternity ward. Cafeteria and MRI machine. There are many many more pics in my flickr stream, I hope you'll check them out to see lots of more details .
  2. Very nice, especially the white building looks very good . And I love that glass staircase, nicely done. Good luck in the contest
  3. Hm, tough choice... Let's see, I'll award my points to: Artanis I - 1 point (nice classic space logo ) darkdragon - 1 point (protect the puppies! ) Etzel - 1 point (ducky!! )
  4. These are really nicely done . The side view shows how well the snout is molded and looks just right . And they are so cute
  5. Wow, this is very nice! It's instantly recognizable as Parisien. From the balconies, to the colors on the front of the stores on the ground floor, and that glass roof and tiling on the floor, everything about this screams of Paris. I love it . I have been to Paris many times, so I know what I'm talking about . Good luck in the contest
  6. This looks very nice Some funny scenes in there too, I like the guy who looks like he's struggling with a pile of pizza boxes (or other papery junk) . The little details in this are very nice, like the use of the chicken wing as a waste bag, and the TV looks very real. Good luck in the contest
  7. is building building building building....

  8. I like that technique with the waterstream . Now who was wearing a bunny hat?
  9. I think in general a lot of the female heads wear too much makeup, and especially too much lipstick. I may be biased about that since I never wear any makeup myself, but it makes it harder to find good female faces that I want to use, especially since there are few female faces in the first place. And that's the real problem I think. While we have a plethora of male faces with all sorts of facial features and facial expressions, most of the female faces have very few distinguishing facial features or interesting expressions. It's usually a smile or some sort of shocked/scared/angry face. Although it seems there has been some more interesting ones recently, there's still way more interesting male faces coming out. And in sets, we often get new male faces, and then there's one female thrown in, with a standard smile. Bear in mind that I only care about the yellow heads, so I'm not talking about licensed themes. As for the hourglass torso print, I actually find that a bit silly, as the torso itself is just as blocky as the male torso, so I think it just looks weird with that print on it. But I can see that it adds more detail in many cases, and it doesn't bother me that much, I just find it silly. What I really just want is more variety in (yellow) female faces...
  10. This is incredibly cool and well done. I love both seasonal versions , and it's a great feature to be able to switch between the two. I love how you made that smooth sandy beach, and the snowy roof looks so real. Those reindeer are pretty cool too, and that boat! Not to mention the awesome cabin itself of course, there's just so much to love about this!
  11. Happy birthday Dragonator, our allmighty games moderating dragon!
  12. - I doooeonthueonthuoenthueonthueoooooo - [Damn wifi It's a good thing I doooeonthueonthuoenthueonthueoooooo - by Pepppermint]
  13. Finally had some time to do this. Not very creative maybe, but this is how I would make my sigfig as a Friends figure (with what's available of Friends parts for now). At least she has the right eye color And facing off against my normal sigfig (who apparently has let her hair grow out, and stopped dying it black . Or just figured she wanted to look more like me )
  14. George G - 2 darkdragon - 1
  15. Matn - 2 KielDaMan - 1
  16. KielDaMan - 2 BaraSH - 1
  17. Thank you Legogal, I would have very much liked to be with you gals at BW :)

  18. Ah, this takes me back... I recently threw out an old CRT monitor that was collecting dust in my attic Those were the days! I really love how you did that monitor, it looks spot on! Huge, and yet, so small actual screen space
  19. More animals! My top 5: 1. Penguin! 2. Tiger (and/or other big cat. Actually, I want all the big cats! Tiger, Lion, Lynx, Cheetax, Leopard...) 3. Moose 4. Sea turtle (why not? ) 5. Wolf (not just the dog mold!)
  20. Great review as always Pandora . Do you think you could provide a picture of a minifig wearing the new riding helmet? I'm just wondering if it will look completely out of place or not...
  21. This is a very nice log cabin . Using the log bricks on the side for making a log cabin is a given, but you've solved the corner problem beautifully, and I especially like how you've done the windows and door.
  22. That is one big goat! Very cool It looks very good from the side, especially the head is very well done, and is instantly recognizable as a goat head. I think the body is a bit too wide though, maybe the legs would need to be closer together, to make it look more proportionally right?
  23. Yey, congratulations Pandora , I'm sure you'll do an excellent job
  24. I'm always amazed by these big awesome ships, and yours is no exception. You really did a great job on this . Love that you've put it in a setting that makes it look like it's moving as well, and cute little whales . Good luck with the transport across the atlantic!
  25. Thanks I just can't help feel bad about lying to and manipulating people, even though it feels great to be able to do so successfully. It's a really mixed bag of feelings
