  1. Happy birthday ISC ... or is that Bosskob Dinopants now
  2. That gorilla looks awesome! And that transformer is nothing short of genious.
  3. You mean this one? Æ - æ We have separate keys on our keyboards for the special characters, æ,ø and å. There's probably some way to get them typed using some meta-keys if that's what you were asking about.
  4. Happy birthday darkdragon
  5. Hell no, you must learn Norwegian! Norwegians understand Danish and Swedish better than Swedes and Danes understand their neighbours' languages . Norwegian is kind of in the middle, by being close to both Swedish and Danish, while Swedish differs more from Danish. But it really comes down to what you want to use the language for. If you want to travel Denmark, then learn Danish. If you want to understand as many scandinavian languages as possible, learn Norwegian. If you want to learn the language spoken by the largest number of people in Scandinavia as a whole, learn Swedish. With swedish, you'll even be able to make yourself understood in Finland, because a lot of them speak Swedish. Also, like Etzel says, Danish has totally weird pronounciaton. Their written language is almost the same as Norwegian, but it sounds completely different.
  6. Look out, you've been
  7. Thanks for inviting me to this awesome game Hinck
  8. Thanks for making that awesome interlude with Maurice as the star, Hinck
  9. His only suspicion of me was based on my accusation of Horace. I was accused for trying to derail he case against that day's bandwagon... Against who was that again? Oh yeah, Villager Ralphy! I think I recall everyone rolling their eyes at that and saying it was stupid. Sorry, I'm not a native English speaker. I thought tenacious and aggressive meant the same thing. You're not funny at all Cameron . I have been nothing but honest this entire time. I was not the one whispering to Brigit. And how can you be so certain it was an evil voice? Why would someone go through all the trouble to frame Horace? Are you reading my words, or just skimming through them? I get that you are super suspicious against me, I just don't get why. I have not been afraid to speak my mind this entire time. And that makes me scummy...? And you're lynching me. Whatever, I'm done with this. I've said what I had to say. If you won't listen today, fine. But listen tomorrow! If I get janitored, listen anyway! Let's assume they can janitor tonight: - They janitor me, you think I was scum, and Horace gets a free ticket to live. - They don't janitor me and you get to see I was town. You all rally against Horace. But wait, if they still can janitor (assuming Casey wasn't the janitor), and they don't janitor me, are they really framing Horace? Don't get caught in the confusion, think! Do the right thing tomorrow! And if I do get janitored, don't let Horace get a free pass because of it, make sure you analyze well and make a wise decision tomorrow. Cameron, I really believe you are town after how you helped us lynch Casey yesterday, but today you are really hurting my feelings by being so damn certain I'm scum, because I'm not . But you are smart, even though you are wrong today. Please figure it out tomorrow, because everyone are obiously trusting you. Now I'd like to continue singing that song for you. I can do more than tell stories, I can sing too!
  10. This just made me even more sure you are scum. And you're probably sitting there with your Cultist buddies laughing, and thinking you'll win tomorrow, after you janitor me. Since nobody is listening to me today, I'm going to lay out some thoughts that maybe you'll listen to tomorrow. If they janitor me in the night, PLEASE consider the fact that you can't be certain of my allegiance, and don't just assume I was scum and work off that. That'll make town lose! Now then. How many scum are left, I wonder? Let me present a hypothesis: - I assume there were 5 scum to begin with. - Wallace got himself killed, dropping their number to 4. - We lynched Carly. But was she really scum? I'm not convinced. And part of the argument for lynching Casey was that she wasn't, so I'm going to assume she was town. No change to the scum number then, still at 4. - Again, there is no Cultist kill. But on night 2, we have no tellings of a Villager being made to target someone against their free will. Did they convert this night? Not improbable. They lost a member on day 1, it's not surprising if they wanted to regain their strength. Let's say they did, and that's the reason for no cultist kill that night. That makes them 5 again. - Then only Villagers die until we lynch Casey, bringing the number back down to 4. Ok, so if we assume this, then there are still 4 Cultists among us! How many are we left? 13. That makes 9 Villagers and 4 Cultists. Then you lynch me, it will be 8 Villagers and 4 Cultists. In the worst case scenario, there will be 3 more Villagers dead in the night, if all the killers are successful, and both the SK and vig target a townie. What's the number then? 5 to 4! Meaning if this happens, and I'm right about the Cultist number, tomorrow will be make or break for Town! Heck, even with just 2 dead townies in the night, it will be 6-4, and still make or break. Just something to keep in mind when you pick your lynch tomorrow... It could be our last chance. Now, let's roll back to yesterday's votes, color coded for your convenience. Casey Cat (Scouty): 9 votes (Scubacarrot, Rufus, Eskallon, CallMePie, Cecilie, Shadows, penalty, WhiteFang, Quarryman) Pennie Pig (Eskaloon): 4 votes (Dannylonglegs, Dragonator, Scouty, Sandy) Booker Bear (Dragonator): 2 votes (penalty, Zepher) Non-voters: 3 (iamded, Professor Flitwick, TinyPiesRUs) Green is confirmed Villager (yes, I am green in the list, I can't unconfirm myself ), Red is confirmed Cultist, and Orange is to mark those I'm pretty certain are Villagers, but I can't confirm it. And Horace in pink, just because Now, when I voted for Pennie, and then switched my vote to Casey, the vote could still go either way. I believe the Cultists were still hoping they could get Pennie lynched over Casey, but after I switched my vote, the votes piled up against Casey, because the Cultist probably realized then it wasn't going to happen, and wanted to quickly hide in the bandwagon. There are even 3 non-voters yesterday, and one who decided to just vote for someone completely different. I don't think both Horace and Lazlo are scum, given that Lazlo is voting for Horace today, so that leaves two potential scum in the non-voters. So I think there are 4 scum hiding in this list of people: Shawna, Edgar, Gilda, Pancho, Horace, Mindy, Booker. Now, this doesn't clear Heidi or Seamus, but Heidi voted for Casey before I did (when the vote could still swing), and Seamus voted first for Pennie, a risky move for scum. There's also one tidbit of interesting context in here: Shawna accused Pennie, but ended up voting for Casey after it was clear that was the way the vote was swinging... Just saying. Sorry for the wall of text everyone, but I feel like there's nothing left for me to do but to leave you with my thoughts to look at once I'm gone . Maybe I can find some good stories in the afterlife. There should be plenty of people there who have experienced interesting things I can use as inspirat... I mean that I can retell!
  11. So that's it then. You're not even going to look at what I'm saying . I'm not at all liking how quick a lot of you are to just hop on what Gordon and Cameron are saying, seemingly without even analyzing what's beeing said, and what the grounds for accusing me really are. We have the words of a confirmed townie who died trying to tell us how suspicious she was of Horace, yet you're all just tunnelling on me for some reason. Some of you without even saying anything but "oh, this is the most popular thing today? Ok then, I'm in". Seriously, if you really want to get rid of those Cultists, you need to look at what's going on, not just hide in the bandwagon. I bet there are a lot of scummies hiding in that bandwagon today, happy to lynch another Villager. Somehow I doubt Carly was scum, part of the grounds for lynching Casey was that she wasn't, which means we've probably only nailed two Cultists so far. We can't afford to keep lynching townies like this without looking properly at what's going on. It's just like what happened to Ralphy. Yesterday was a good day, a lot of stuff was discussed, and guess what? It led us to lynch a Cultist! Today it's all "oh, Maurice is scum because Gordon and Cameron said so, so let's not look at anything else". There's plenty of time left in the day, there's still time to find a real Cultist! I would like to point out something else too. Cameron brought up that Gibson was suspicious of me two days ago. But what were his grounds for that? Me apparently "aggressively" accusing Horace. Well, I must say, Gordon's accusations of me this morning were pretty aggressive in my eyes... How was my accusations of Horace any different that what you've been doing to me all day? I guess the only difference is that I'm beeing accused by someone who was right yesterday. But the thing is, them being right one time, does not make them right every time. And they are wrong today. And if you lynch me today, you will see so tomorrow. Please tell me that my death will not be in vain? Please tell me you're going to use my death to actually catch some Cultists tomorrow? Look at Horace, look at those who are happily just hopping on the bandwagon without any form of own thoughts about the situation. You're lynching a Villager today by going for me. Make it be worth something! When I'm dead, maybe someone will tell the legend of Maurice Mouse, the brave mouse who died by the hands of his friends, trying to make them see the light.
  12. Hm, I'm sort of not sure I understand why I'm so damn scummy . But I can see that I've clearly made a mess of things by just being me. I'd like to clear a few things up: - Everything I've said about my conversation with Brigit is true. - What Gordon said about Brigit talking about planting seeds and all that, she also said to me, but I didn't feel it was important to bring up. - I didn't bring up that Brigit said she would probably be killed if Horace was scum because it had already sort of been brought up that even if it's a possibility the Cultists would want to cut out Brigit because she accused him, it could also be a plot to frame Horace. I eventually brought it up, because I figured it'd be best to be complete about what I was told. - I'm a bit confused about Gordon's wording about me presenting Brigit's words. Did you mean I conjectured, or that Brigit did? I only reported as accurately as I could what she told me. And I said "possibly" not "probably", you should really learn to read . - What Cameron reported about my conversation with him sounds pretty much right. But it comes off very weird reported like this. - I never said I trusted him, but that he seemed to make sense, and I wanted someone who appeared townie to talk to. - I was really confused about where my vote should go. I may have worded myself poorly, but the thing is that I initially didn't really find either Pennie or Casey any more suspicious than the other, and I first thought we could learn more from lynching Pennie over Casey, in the scenario where BOTH were town. - I talked to Cameron, and even if our conversation must have seemed very odd to him, it helped me clear my mind and push Casey over Pennie in terms of suspiousness in my mind. Therefore, I figured it would be better to vote for Casey over Pennie, hoping that Casey really was a scum. This is the problem about being a vanilla townie. I have no evidence, nothing. I'm totally clueless, and can only base my decisions on what everyone says. If I was scum, I would have know the truth, and I would have acted way more composed. Seriously. You guys don't know me very well if you think I'd run around all confused if I was sitting there with all the facts. - I see I'm being called out for defending Casey early in the game. But that was due to Casey being my wife, and I acted like it. I wasn't very suspicious of her either, so figured it wouldn't hurt to show my affection for her. Clearly, that was a mistake . - If you think you'll learn a lot by lynching me, then by all means, lynch me. But please only do so if you'll really catch some scum from getting a town result on me, because that's what I am. I've been trying hard to do whatever I can as a vanilla townie since the beginning, but it seems a lot of you don't think I've done a very good job - It seems the consensus is that if I'm town, then Horace is scum. Well, if I am to believe that, then Horace is scum, so I'll Vote: Horace Horse (iamded) Did I forget to address anything now? Now if you'll excuse me, I'm just going to go tell myself a story about a sad little mouse called Milly Mouse who was bullied in school, even if all she did was try to help her friends... *squeak*
  13. You were the one who brought it up, and asked for help, or at least that's what I thought you did. I figured if it were possible to find a pattern, then maybe we could figure it out. But if you feel the information can hurt us if the scum get hold of it, then by all means, keep it to yourself, or those you trust (which clearly isn't me ) That is pretty much what I got out of what she told me. But she also said that if you were really scum, then she'd probably get killed to cut the ties between her and this informant. Well, I don't really know anymore than that she did get killed... Make of that what you want. But you can't deny that it does not look good for you. I should tell you the story about... ehm.. about... I can't think of one! I must have been too long away from all the good stories at the docks...
  14. When did I call you a monkey? I said you were nothing like a Monkey Clearly, since you are a Gorilla . Maybe you'd rather hear the story of Gobby Gorilla, who always misinterpreted things? Kind of hard to answer that, since I'm a Villager who's trying to figure out exactly who my fellow Villager teammates are . If you need proof, you're going to have to ally with someone who can check me out at night then I guess, since nothing I say can change your mind. But you're not telling us, how helpful . But I guess you'd rather just tell your secret pen buddies, whoever they are.
  15. I contacted Brigit yesterday, after she accused Horace. I was curious about whether she had any more information on him, after nobody seemed to agree with me when I accused him the day before. All she told me was that she had talked with someone who had seemed certain that Horace was scum, and that there was possibly some sort of night action involved. But the way I understood her, she didn't know the details of it. I don't know who the possible informant is, or if there really was a night action involved, but I really hope that if there was, that this person can find somebody else to trust with this information. Because like you say, we can't know if the scum chose to kill Brigit to try to incriminate Horace, or to silence her (like those scary mafia gangs do in the stories of the Godmother and the eight scary dwarves... Have I told that story? Let me tell you ... blablabla ...)
  16. I love how you are trying to incriminate me . Oh wait, no, I don't (You are nothing like the legendary Mulius Monkey, who was a wise sage that blablablabla) Uhm, if I am so damn smart. Why did I vote for Pennie in the first place? Maybe you can tell me that? I don't really know what you want me to say. You are calling me scummy because of my vote switching. I have explained that. And I explained it when I voted yesterday too. At first I thought lynching Pennie would give us more information, but in the end, I realized Casey was the scummiest. What more do you want? If you want me to answer something, please ask questions... And you are going to kick yourself for being so sure I'm scum when you learn that I am a Villager. It's funny how you are saying I'm smart enough to figure it out, yet are accusing me for doing something stupid . I can tell you that I'm at least smart enough to know that it's a stupid thing to flip flop my vote around, especially when one of the accusees is a scum, if I was scum myself. But you see, I'm not scum. I'm a Villager without any information other than what you are all saying, so I have to try and figure out what's best for me to do, without having any evidence whatsoever. That's why I sometimes change my mind! Now, we can keep going about this all day, but it's not going to help us catch any Cultists. Well, if this is true, it's certainly interesting. Do you know which target Pennie had that she did not target herself?
  17. Oh, this takes a burden off my heart. I'm glad my wife wasn't lynched for nothing. I really had a hard time making a decision about my vote yesterday, but it's good we came to the best conclusion . (Mourning the loss of my evil wife, I wonder if it was ever true love, like in the story of Mumble Mouse, who was in love with Cathy Cat, but then Cathy was revealed to be a manipulating scoundrel, and Mumble wondered if it had been her manipulating him all along, and blablablabla) Ahem... Now, I wonder where the axe killer was last night? . It would seem now though, that the Cultist kill is the burning-people-up MO, as was suggested yesterday. I wonder what that flask is all about though... At least the person we're assuming to be our vig has made sure we don't have to waste any more time discussing Pennie today. Uhm, pulling a Pennie here? Now you're confusing me. How was my vote switching incriminating? Nobody else voted between my first and my second vote, and at that time, Pennie could still have gotten lynched over Casey. I had a good long extra look at the candidates, and especially Casey's lack of a proper defense, and decided she was probably a better lynch than Pennie. I also had a talk with Cameron, who helped me see where I was wrong. If you want to look at me, look all you want. There's nothing here but a mouse who's trying his best to understand all that's being said. Could you elaborate on that? If you targeted Brigit, did you get something out of it? And you know saying this ties you to her death, right? You're not just saying this because you're afraid someone tracked you tonight?
  18. Happy birthday . Oh, and ace says happy birthday too, but he's too busy to make a post
  19. This is a really great building that seems to blend old with modern style. I like how you've made that back alley, and there are a lot of nice touches in this. Also, I thought your building deserved a mention, so I've gone ahead and it
  20. Thanks everyone for all the nice comments Yes.... but not quite yet (there are pics of series 1-5 together on my flickr though) I'm sure you can, with practice . Making these vigs when series 1 came out is what helped me get going with making MOCs Uhm, yeah, me too You're not dumb, you're absolutely right . I tried to place him in a setting that would make him a small toy robot for a child. Not that easy on 8x8
  21. Perfect match for a lion . I love the vintage look, and the color scheme is great
  22. Hi, it's me again, won't get rid of this mouse! Anyway, I've looked back a bit more at Casey, and what's been said about her, and I feel like Cameron has some really good points. But what really does it for me right now is the lack of a proper defense. I could swear I saw Casey around here just now, looking like she had a lot to say, but now she has vanished. If she can't make up her mind about a defense, and can't try to help us figure things out, then that pushes my suspicions about her up a notch. Pennie will have to wait, I think it's more important we figure out what's going on with Casey right now (sorry my dear wife ) So I will Unvote: Pennie Pig (Eskallon) and Vote: Casey Cat (Scouty) I really hope this is the right thing to do... Even if I'll miss my darling wife, at least there won't be a cat around here anymore, nibbling at me
  23. I think my head is going to explode soon from trying to make heads or tails from all of this . I've been thinking about what Shawna said about Ernie maybe being the first Cultist kill (assuming the axe killer is a serial killer, and the trap killer a vig). And if I explore that theory, then I wonder why Ernie. Since I don't know anything about whether he might have had some role the Cultists were after, I can only look at day behaviour. What did Ernie do yesterday? He accused Pennie and Booker. Funnily enough, Booker also accused Pennie, and they both voted for her. But then Ernie got killed (assuming that's what happened). Could this point to the Cultists wanting to get rid of Ernie for being onto Booker? It's all wild speculation, really, but it's still a thought to keep in mind. Enough to vote out Booker today? Maybe not, but look into him? Yes, I think so. He has been under scrutiny today as well, and I don't think I have anything to add to what's been said about him really, but he's definitely on my suspect list. Then there's the Casey case (harr harr). I feel like the case against her is largely based on day 1 behaviour. And while that may give us some ideas, I'm not sure I'm entirely convinced about it all. I don't think she's really been acting any strange at all since Day 1, but maybe I'm biased since she's my wife . However, her mostly non-existant defense is sort of worrying... What I'd like to know though (forgive me if it's been said already, my head is kind of full, I'm just a tiny mouse after all...), what can we learn from her lynch if she turns up town? Does that help us narrow down other suspects? As for Pennie, as has been said, she's been very back and forth in types of behaviour. From very upfront, to dead silent. Could be a scum tell, could be a scared townie. Other than that, I find most of you suspicious in some way or another, but I can't really go into detail on all of you right now, and I don't really have anything much concrete to present anyway, other than gut feelings... I'm not sure I'll have time to place my vote later, so for now I will Vote: Pennie Pig (Eskallon) I think this will also give us some more clues about Gordon, who I think have had some of the same tendencies as Pennie. Back and forth in types of behaviour, from aggressive accusations, to more silent nodding. And if she turns up scum, it would sort of clear Booker too. I will try to check in before the end of the day, to see if something interesting has come up that warrants me to change my vote. I really hope that we will actually learn something from today's lynch, and that this janitor won't be back to sweep away our potential knowledge again I hope nobody has put a mouse trap in my bed tonight. That was so not funny the last time
  24. Uhm, yes, a bit. But this is still a lot for my brain to process. Forgive me for being slow. And thank you for spelling it out for us . So, what you're saying is that we have a vig, a serial killer, and that the cultists haven't been able to kill before last night for some reason. The kill MO of burning up definitely does seem to fit more with the nature of those Cultists, and the fact that the fox spirit got something out of it does seem to hint at it too. So if we assume that the Cultists are the ones who killed Ernie. Why Ernie? Have we looked at that angle yet? What made him someone they would want to get rid of? I think I'm going to look back at what he has said in the past to look for clues... Good for you for being so damn smart But I suck at riddles! *squeak* I need some cheese to gather strength to make sense of all of this...
  25. Wow, I take a loooong nap and suddenly everyone starts discussing lynch candidates wildly. Well, certainly nothing wrong with that . I think it's important that we make a wise decision today. We can't afford to lynch without learning anything from it, especially since we don't seem to be getting much information during the night. I'm going to go think about all the cases that have been presented today before I provide any of my own opinions. There's a lot for this little mouse to process... I'm sorry, what? Maybe my mouse brain is too tiny, could you please spell this out for me? In what way has the nightly events made it clear that Portia was searching for the SK, and that the axe killer is the SK? I would have thought she was searching for evil cultists... And just to get this straight: you mean that the trap killer is the Cultist killer (who killed one of their own on night 1), or that the Cultists aren't killing at all? Sorry, it just doesn't add up in my head. *squeak* Did Casey say something about instincts? Why did I have to fall in love with someone's who's instinct is to eat me?
