Bridge Walker vs White Lightning now on Amazon!
dillthepill replied to dillthepill's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
They have it at mine now, too. But I won't get it because I already ordered it online. -
Yeah, you should add the new MOCs (like Exo-Champ's Viper Fury, the new mecha contest, and the 2007 index. X-D

Halloween 06: Scariest Movie
dillthepill replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Psycho was the scariest movie I ever saw, considering the few scary movies I've seen. The shower scene made me reluctant to take showers for a few weeks! -
Halloween 06: STUDIOS: Werewolf Ambush 1380 Review
dillthepill replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I agree. Ebay, here I come :-P -
Ok, so I got the batman wings yesterday, added them on, and.. Was dissapointed! :'-( It just made it look goofy , so I added Supernova jets instead. In fact, a lot of my pieces are from exo-force sets, including some from a Thunder Fury, Mecha One's personal mech, the Sentry, and a lot more. I'll take the pictures soon, and since I now know how to get pics in my BS folder, I may be able to post the pics on my own. Well, we'll have to see what happens.

Hate the green Inika blobs and axlish necks?

Sugegasa is a Lego genius we won't soon forget. ;-) -
Those are pretty cool, considering that I don't like most of the sets. I'll probably pick up 4939, 4953,and 4956. Great find. *y*

Sweet! My MOC I made for the contest will kick butt against the robot side. :-)
-
Dang, that is awesome. I'm likin the guns alot .*y* Great find.
-
Yes, it is hard to snipe on top, but easy on the side. ;-)
-
Instructions would be cool, too. X-D
-
Not seeing too much difference besides the wings and cockpit.Nice job, though. *y*
-
The instructions for the MicroNova would be cool, but LinkSuit instructions would be nice, too. X-D

The gun is pretty cool, too. Great job. *y*

Thanks, man. That fits it a lot because it is a flying mech. I like that , and anyone who wants too can throw in other suggestions. Like I've said, the MOC is black, it flies, and has a punching glove/claw and a zamor sphere launcher with a few mods. Throw in some suggestions if you want. *sweet*

Well, I've just finished it, but I need to get a Batman set tomorrow to add bat wings on it for the final touch. What name sounds more appealing to you guys? Black Thunder or the Thunder Titan. Please reply.
-
Well, I have all that is necessary to make my battle machine, and it will have a punching glove and a zamor sphere with a few mods. Now I just have to make it. It's gonna be nice. I have a story planned out, too, which explains why I'm making it black. P.S. Let's have some more people join. Three isn't too many for a contest. ;-)

The MicroNova is amazing! *y* Liking the Linksuit, too. Good job!

Bridge Walker vs. White Lightning available on US S@H
dillthepill replied to Chuck's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Hey, I mentioned that a week ago. If you go to the forum "BW VS WL now on Amazon", you'll see for your self. -
Wow, that's amazing! Good job on your first robot MOC. *y*

I like Jinzo's mech alot especially because of the boobs. Exo- Champ, so your mech still has a few last touches? It's gonna whoop mine already! And it would be great if you tried to post my entry again if I can't myself. Don't worry for a while though. I still am going to make two other mechs and decide which one is the best( like I said in my first post).
-
Mine is very close now. All I need is one more claw for my mech. It is a scorpion with a ton of missles, a gatling gun on the tail, two claws, and a lot more. After I built my creation, I realized my minifig was unable to fit in the cockpit, so it isn't a human/robot anymore.Exo-Champ, your mech seems very sinister indeed, and I can't wait to see you post it in the competion entries forum. P.S. Maybe you could teach me how to post pics sometimes.

I'm close to finishing mine, too. All I need is to make the feet and buy and Visorak set.

Review for set 7713: Bridge Walker vs White Lightning
dillthepill replied to dillthepill's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Ya, that would be really helpful. *y* You may have noticed some typos, so I fixed them. Maybe I need keyboarding lessons too. ;-) EDIT: Are you sure that I got the arms wrong? Oh, wait, do you mean when I said the two guns on the left arm and then said it was the right arm later? I already fixed that. ;-) -
First of all I'd like to say that this is without a doubt the best Exo-Force( and perhaps Lego) set ever. I ordered this on Amazon.com, and after eight days it finally came today. Naturally I started building immediately. It took about two hours to build and then I played with it for about an hour to test it out. So, anyways, on with the review. First I'll start with theBridge Walker, the coolest part of the set. Like the Striking Venom, the Bridge Walker is massive, has almost no leg movement, and shares the same color scheme, black with some green. Let me start from the bottom to the top. The legs are very steady, so the Bridge Walker has a lot of support. The legs are designed with armor, lots of stickers, and the occasional green parts. There are many technic pieces used on the legs, so it holds very well. The legs are connected on each side of the body frame, giving it equal balance. Now to move on to the arms. The arms are held on very steady, too. There are a lot of guns on the the right arm(two gatling guns and a shooter) and two on the left. Though the left arm doesn't have many guns, it still remains cool with the black wings a cool design. The two Devastors operate their own arm and have a windshield to protect them. I also can't help noticing that the Devastators aren't of any particular color, which makes them look ten times cooler. Now, last but not least, the head/cockpit. Meca One , the leader of the robots pilots the Bridge Walker. This cockpit is the coolest design yet, with a shape somewhat familiar to a head. There are two red, translucent eyes, which are already cool enough, but they glow using the two power-up bricks. The head is held on a technic pin which makes it steady and also able to rotate. There is a little space in the middle of the head where Meca One stands, and it protects a little more than half of his body, a lot more than a lot of the robot machines. There are also two little guns at the bottom of the cockpit so Meca One can have a little firearm himself. Anyways, the Bridge Walker is awesome, and I highly reccomend this set for any Exo-Force fan. Now on to the White Lightning. This mech still remains to keep the coolness of the set by having such heavy weaponry in a regular sized battle machine. Lego may have said that this is a medium sized mech, but it is actually the same size. Other people have said that this is built like the old ones but it has quite a different building way since there is no light brick. This is probably similar to the mechs for Hikaru and Takeshi in 2007 since there are no light bricks. Well, anyways, the White Lightning is the lightest mech( besides the small ones) and one of the sturdiest as well due to the support in the front and back of the legs. The jets for the White Lightning are good but swivel around because they are only held on by one technic pin. The weaponry on the White Lightning is good, with a gatling gun on each arm, a couple of guns above the cockpit, and a disc shooter on the right arm. Surprisingly the disc shooter was very accurate, considering what happens when you use Meca One's personal machine disc shooter. White Lightning 9/10 The swiveling jets are a bit annoying Bridge Walker 10/10 Perfect in every way possible. Building 10/10 This set was very easy and fun to build. Hope ya liked my review, and be sure to get it ! ;-) Sorry no pictures. I'm not to good at posting them.
