I finally ordered myself an Emerald Night via the Lego Shop at Home site. My first Lego set in 4 years so I'm pretty excited.
I'm also thinking of getting Power Functions. Would anyone recommend me getting them, it is a lot of money, and I keep changing my mind.
Very cool review, thanks for posting it.
I really like the look of this line, then minifigs look great, as do some of the pieces. I'm tempted to get this set just for the whip piece .
Sorry to bump this thread, but I have a question as well and I wasn't too sure where to post it.
Do you need to get the rechargeable battery box and the transformer? Can you just get the normal battery box?
Also, do you need the Remote + IR recevier? Is there a switch that you can just use to get it running?
Sorry for the questions, train noob here .
More new angles of the sets here:

I still love the Ginny figuire, I'm sure she has a double head. Same story for Bellatrix.
It's Voldermort. If you look through the Castle and look at the box, you can see the Voldermort figure listed with the rest.

When did Voldermort ever wear green?
Yeah, all we need now is a Sprout figure and we have all the heads of houses. It still confuses me why they didn't release her with the Greenhouse in 2007.
Also, still no Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff uniform. Ah well, there is always the next waves of sets .
The one in the bottom part of the astronomy tower. I too can't understand why they would put Voldermort in the castle set, maybe it is just a ghost, afterall.
Who is the fig in the bottom left on this picture? In the building?

Is it a ghost or something?
From the press release yesterday it said that the prices were ranged from $10.99 - $129.99.
Dobby's release - $10.99
Quidditch Match - $19.99
Hagrids Hut - $39.99.

I can't see anything for the Burrow or the train either.
Edit: If you look at this post, it looks like he got the prices spot on.

Harry & Ron do go down to see Hagrid with the cloak in the film, then Aragog. I can't see a cloak in the Hut set, can you link me?
Also, has any spotted that the hut has power functions. I wonder how that will work.
Can't see a Trelawney fig in the set, but on the box, I see a purple hat, which makes me think the fig on the box is Mcgonagall, with a different coloured hat. If that makes sense?
It's got to be Ginny, redish hair.
Has anyone noticed the backprinting on the back of the uniforms?
Also, has anyone seen Ron in the castle? I can't find him anywhere.
