[UK] Toy Story Promos in Mirror Newspaper from 17th July
SuperChris replied to Big Pete's topic in LEGO Licensed
I got my promo set this morning. 65p for the Mirror and £1.50 for a bus ticket, not a bad deal at all! -
I love the new Hooch. I've been waiting for a fleshy Hooch ever since the fleshly figures became part of the HP line.

I agree with you all, he looks very funny! I hope we get Snape next!

[UK] Toy Story Promos in Mirror Newspaper from 17th July

Absolutely fantastic news! I don't have any of the Toy Story sets, so this is a great chance for me to get the 2 main figures. Roll on Saturday! -
Amazon marketplace has most of them, but they are very expensive! Same story for eBay, but you didn't need me to tell you that...
-
I'll think you'll find thats Flitch ;). Edit: Beaten to it! I didn't realise a new page had started.
-
Not really, because by that logic there should also be more Harry's, another Ron and another Hermione.
-
Ginny is looking great! I love her new hair, it really suits her more than the old hairpiece that she had. This means that the last figure isn't Ginny, right? Maybe we are getting another figure that we don't know about. Any guesses who?
-
Strange. Maybe it's just the UK for now then, or something. It does seem weird that it's been released so soon. I didn't think it was out till October.
-
Has anyone else noticed this? Can you really buy it now? http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=3862&cn=342&d=70

I don't think you understand. We are talking about the teaser site, were there is no space for any extra Harry figs.
-
Those magazine images look great! It's time like this when I wish I still got the Lego Club magazine. There is one figure that I can't work out who it is though. It's the last one on there and I'd think it is Ginny, but we have already had a Ginny figure higher up. Am I being stupid and missing something here?

Thank you! By the looks of it, MMV has the most pieces for the cheapest price, so I think I'll go for that one :).

Hey guys. It's my birthday soon, and I'm looking for a new Lego set to treat myself to. The only recent set I have it the Emerald Night, which I love to bits. I don't mind paying anything from £50 to £100, but not any more. I also don't want any of the modular buildings, as I'd want to collect them all, and I just don't have the cash. I also want a set with a lot of pieces, and a good build with a rewarding result. If that isn't narrow enough for you, any ideas would be great!

Doctor Hasn't A Clue (Doctor Who humour).
SuperChris replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Brilliant . Oh, and a great MOC as well! -
Love the new pictures! The Castle really does look a lot better there, doesn't it? Roll on October please.
-
For Dumbledores cape, I use the blue cape that Harry had in the first castle.
-
I'm not going to buy any extra sets either. Just one of each is more than enough for me, too.

Is this the US one? I got the UK one through the post this morning and their isn't a sign of PoP in it. -
MOC: TPO Working Royal Mail pick up system
SuperChris replied to Bricktrix's topic in LEGO Train Tech
That's fab! I used to have something like that for my Hornby train set. Great creation! -
Growing up, my favourite train was the 'LNER Class A4 4468 Mallard'. I'd love to see that released in Lego form, something as epic as the Emerald Night would be swell.

Does anyone have an idea of pricing the UK for these sets? I've converted the Amercian prices to GBP, and it comes out at about £220 for all the sets. I'll add an extra £10, just because Lego usually costs more in the UK. Also, if you add together all the pieces for all 6 sets and you get 3099 pieces. Which is just under the amount of pieces of 3 Emerald Nights, which costs just under the price of these 6 sets.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I am doing a few extra shifts at work this week so I might be able to by myself one next week. It looks so great .

Would anyone say this set looks good on its own without CC, or GE? I don't have it, but due to tight budget, I wouldn't be able to buy the others and I've heard good things about this set so I was thinking of getting only this one.
