If you had read the book you know what Raven Hill is When outside Erebor scared and afraid Smaug was coming back, Balin had the idea to go to an old Hill (I can't find the online picture of the set anymore) and hide there, it was the hill where an old famous Raven Pair lived (alas the name) that Thrain was a good friend with and spoke to a lot And so they where 'Hiding' There
