Hi guys. i've had an idea for the past few days about what could suffice as a good grappling gun for Batman. Now i know there is already and offical one in the Batcave but that looks a little big for the minifig personally. so i thought about using everyone's favourite minifig accessory - the Alien Conquest blaster! A lot of people (including myself) dont really like the repetitiveness of that gun popping up in so many sets as a stand in for guns and i thought about using it as a Grappling Gun. in the recent Batman flicks his gun looks like this Batman Grappling Gun by thebat23, on Flickr and this is what the AC gun looks like Alien Conquest/ Batman G Gun by thebat23, on Flickr they look very similar don't they? and this is the normal Alien ray gun and THIS is what a normal Alien blaster ray should look like Alien Gun by thebat23, on Flickr Let me know what you guys think. i think it's Batgirl, just2good not Batwoman and the Black Zero set to me looks, meh. the figs look great (why is Black Widow there?) and love the new gun design and the pod looks fantastic. the little station thing looks kind of awkward though after seeing this, im probably only going to get Metropolis Showdown and wait for the Winter Wave to come

wait, you can put the Lego Games microfigs heads on normal minifig bodies right? maybe you can do that with Mr Freeze and he gets his goggles instead of that other face he has and the same for Nightwing (the blue would kinda look outta place though) but still

sorry i took so long to respond. but here's what i modded cockpit: i removed the steering wheel because his cowl wouldnt fit in but i added some control panels on the side. rear: i went through many changes with this. for the back tires i used 2 of this in dark grey and connected the 4 wheels. for the rear flaps on top i went though many ideas but i used these in black and put those on behind the cockpit on the sides. finally i used these (left and right) and put those on top of these. thanks for viewing i forgot to add a comparison between the two. swaying slightly off topic but which freeze gun do you guys think is the best? the 2006 one or the 2013 one?

well i say on Ebay TDKR Batman before it's set release and he had no cape. it's probably the same for War Machine, so when pics come we'll most definetly see his gun

welcome to Eurobricks and nice review. i have this set and i love it (just like the movie). though i changed a few things like the Bat's back propellers are facing downwards like the movie and i changed a few bits to black so far. and ive also started to make the Tumbler to black and ive removed the missles and put the 4 tires. here's a link to a black version another Eurobricks member made and i have to say it's pretty awesome http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=75724

just to say something. i got the TDKR set for christmas and i like it. ive removed some parts (flick missles -_-) and added some parts to the Bat (black pieces, changed the back propellers so they are facing downwards). as for the tumbler, it's good but i wonder what happens when i turn it black ;). but if i do then i have to remove the sterring wheel for Batman to sit properly in it. Just my 2 cents
