Thanks for the information. Katrina and the Waves sounds like a hurricane theme music group.

He has? This is news to me. Are you sure you're not thinking of another quest, or a different Player.

I kinda want to ask what is wrong with Rogue One? I think it is better than some of the other Star Wars movies that has come out recently. (If it is just going to turn into a be-itch fest, then maybe we shouldn't talk about it.)
-
Some of that just sounds dirty to me. Besides, I never heard of this story, is their a link (somewhere) to tell us what is about. P.S. Is their a way to delete the @ someone thing (/tag) because I haven't figured it out yet.

Don't worry it won't be ten pages, it will be twenty to thirty pages. You know I think some of your comments should be in a different thread(s). If you tap the + next to the quote button, you can easily quote something in another thread (i.e. like I am doing here). Maybe you should try it and see what happens.

Heroica RPG - Quest #159: An Unexpected Return
samurai-turtle replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
At this point in time Germ was complaining, of just throwing the Fellcrest Hand Axe at the "Golden Dragon" he was far enough back. Not even sure if anyone else had any better ideas, if they did none of them has said anything yet. Then Germ heard Lind arguing with the other " Hero's"... "Windspitter" just let's things flow. Who knows they might get real lucky. -
Thanks, I was trying to make him darkly dressed, but at the same time put in some color to break it up. Not to get to personal, but is @Asphalt going to be OK? He list his location as North Carolina and wasn't Hurricane Florence going to hit that area?

Not sure exactly what plan the "Windspitter" had in mind. But Germ knew one thing he will eventually have to change position. OoC: -

I question your sanity... Well you know, "people" don't like change and they resist it... I am guessing a lot. Besides it is not like I went a hunt them down, they came after us and "we" just defened our selves. If you don't get that then you are crazy or dumb... Well at least you didn't call me an insect that is just technically wrong. Cancer! Where I come from the "cure for cancer" is just as bad as the cancer its self. You lose all your hair and puking all the time not to mention you just feel like curling up in a ball I just lay there. I guess a better example if what seems to be going on is: I set a small fire in a waste basket. And you just flood up the entire building to put the small fire out... I am sure now "people" will want to set all of us on fire... Not sure who he was addressing at this point. I don't remember joining the Wolfpack. And besides I am only here because someone put a bounty on my head (again). And I would like the bounty taken off my head. As Germ is still at the edge of the boat. If you guys want to see what a fire bomb does to these guy, I got some I could use on them. At this point Germ starts to juggle a fire bomb, if you want to call it "juggleing". OoC: -

About having enough of this, "thing" Germ finally had to say something to her... Do you even care "we" had to kill a bunch of "Dragons" and (I am guessing) suffocate those "humans"? Or it was all for the glory of the greatest one (i.e. you)? Because you come off as a psychopath. Hiding deep in your fortress letting all of your soldiers just die off, as you sit safe in your hidey hole. Then when you do come out, what are you facing the questioningly experienced opponents. Not to mention at the right time your so call "pet" (or is it a slave) dragon just happened to show up, coincidence I think not. You kinda remind me of a little song "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss!" Or in your case the really "old boss". Proof! You want proof! Their is a lot of white vines covering the underground of the city. And don't say one of us put them their you think any of us is that smart. But you should all ready know that, if your so call friends told you anything. Or are they just your hoes, they get out of line and you pimp slap them. (Do what you say or else, I am sure they like that idea.) Massacre can lead to war, you should know that. Some of that is just your opinion. Who can say what state this city could be in if none of us showed up. But, I am dang sure you guys are not helping it one bit. I am thinking the others are not going to let you just rule without some sort of say. Personal I don't think any of us should rule this city. If the city is going to burn, I say let it, I am sure not going to be able to stop it. -

Should we climbed onto the Vermilion here and fly some where else? I wonder if it will even let us do that? Germ asked The Fay One. And if you don't think you are going to use that "Catapult" I loned you, maybe you could return it. I think it will be useful against that big ulgy "gold" thing. OoC: -
Cartoons you liked nobody else remembers.

Well I did think of another one, that could be made to just sell stuff "Captain N and the Game Masters". For those that don't remember, it is basically a regular guy and his dog getting sucked into the Nintendo relem and trying to stop the bad guys (from the video games) from taking over. Their was some odd choices made like Mother Brain was the head villian but no Samus Aran to be found. Not to mention Mega Man being green for some reason. Plus, Simon Belmont's personality being not very great (he was kinda vain in this). And you kinda wonder how he could of stop Dracula. -
Latest updates on LEGO set sales

Well Target seems to have all their $30 sets down to $25. (I am guessing this ends Saturday. I was only half paying attention when I was looking around). -
What was the last movie you watched?
samurai-turtle replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Well I seen a documentary on Mr. Rogers called "Won't you be my neighbor?". It does remind me of another documentary that PBS played during it's last pledge run call "It is you I like." (If I am remembering the name right, that on had Michael Keaton hosting it.) The "neighbor" one could be considered a little more raw. It does bring up some of the rumors about Mr. Rogers (even if it might be a little short for my taste). And the "neighbor" documentary might have more behind the scenes of his show and life. Plus, I remember their was supposed to be a third film about Mr. Rogers with Tom Hanks involved. And I am wondering what is the deal about that (I guess I should look it up). -

I think Ronin Warriors was more of a mini series. So it was not on the air very long. As for D&D that only lasted one season too. Bucky O'Hare was short also, I don't remember if it lasted one or two seasons. Now more cartoons that haven't been mentioned yet. Eek the Cat (not to be confused with Felix the Cat). I remember it getting paired up with a dinosaur show. The basic premise was the a Commando group of dinosaurs are trying to get rid of the human pests. More shows like Rusty and the Big Guy & The Tick, I would say they have a certain style like M.I.B. and other cartoon based on a live action movie like Evolution. And I would even throw in Godzilla: the series (based on the Matthew Broderick movie). Not to mention Lazer Tag, talk about a show existing to sell a product. Well that is all I can think for now, I wonder if I will think of more... -
Some of you might find this thread useful.

I remember The Littles. And their was some live action movie called "The Borrowers" that seems to be like the The Littles for some reason. (Not that I seen The Brorrowers.) When there's trouble you call DW! I got Darkwing Duck on DVDs a year (or two) ago. To bad the whole series is not out on DVD. For some other cartoons not mention yet Dungeon & Dragons, Bucky O'Hare and C.O.P.S. P.S. Sorry, for the double Post thought it would automatically merge. -

"Top Cat" might work for your question. But their is an obscure one I only seen one or two episodes of "Wonder Wheels". This one was only like a ten minutes long (from Hanna Barbera). For some anime shows on this question. The first one is "Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs". This show had a western in space vibe to it. The major points this show have are, the main spaceship the good guys have could change into a big robot. And the bad guys called Vapor Beings came from another dimension. The second anime is "Ronin Warriors". It is basically a Demon Lord is trying to conquer the human realm. But five humans with magical armors and weapons stand in his way. P.S. It has been a while since I have seen the two anime. I haven't seen them since they first aired in the 1980's (or a little later). But I do have some fond (if not vague) memories of these two shows. As for "Top Cat" and "Wonder Wheels", those I seen more recently (over five years ago if you want to call that recent). But it was on the Boomerang network that I have seen these two shows for the first time. So those two are not from my childhood. Another note on "Top Cat" I remember seeing a movie about it on DVD a few years ago. -

What was the last movie you watched?
samurai-turtle replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
The last movie I watched was Ready Player One. When I watched the trailer I got the impression that the hero loved the 80's in general. But when I watched the movie the hero seemed to only love the 80's because the Oasis creator grew up in the 80's. And everyone was looking for clues to the "MacGuffin device". -
How about this... 1- the enemy's special 2- double enemy's level 3- the regular hit 4- miss (no one gets hurt) 5- hero's level for counter attack 6- hero's level plus equipped weapon for counter attack This seems a little more balanced and similar to a hero's roll. And I don't think it is a good idea to give extra "shields" out or getting deployed. (If I am reading your response right, but I could be getting a little confused here.)

Because, they showed their ulgy heads here, that is why. Plus, I thought it will give people something else to talk about besides how to fix the future "version two of Heroica". Besides that stuff can get a little dry and technical. Also some of it gets a little long witch could be a little hard to follow. Like here... https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/123319-a-quick-comment-on-spam/

Basically yes to both of those questions. I was trying to change targets if @Waterbrick Down has any concerns he can say so. I was trying to make things less wordy, plus I put it in parentheses to indicate a back up condition.
