H20: Fantasy's Back on the Menu!
samurai-turtle replied to Lind Whisperer's topic in The Heroica Archive
I edited the above post with the correct size picture. As for any theme song I really don't have one in mind maybe Pokemon the one with champion in it. Another one I thought of could be the Digimon since it says "Digimon digital champion" in one of their songs. And as a last resort and kind of a *BEEP* YOU attitude the theme to Sailor Moon. -
I thinking the only one (or thing) not brought up yet is Bugs / Insects I am sure that is going to pop up at some point. The problem is I am drawing a blank on any examples but I know their is mini figures of "bugs" from Galaxy Squad (and probably from other space themes). As for Tengu I found these two examples and their is a built in Technic vibe to them already. This guy might be a good example for a Canine, but a sub race Vulpine (a fox). Not sure if anyone ever heard of Humblewood it is a D&D setting with animals as playable characters, probably similar to the Chima line. For "location shots" was their some size limit to pictures for the forum like 600×800 pixels? I guess that would be acceptable.

I was thinking of adding - Kappa - (or Tortle if you want a D&D flavor) for tortoises and turtles, plus their is TMNT mini figures and now the Super Mario line. Tengu - I am not sure if this will be to close to Ornithun. But I figured since the Chima Ravens exists they look pretty close to other depictions other tangu. And I did find two examples of what I thought they will look like. Tabaxi - (again more D&D influence) your basic cat person, since again Chima has "Cats" we should have it available to use. Canine - since their is "cats" we better have Dogs. Again if their is Wolves and werewolves for mini figures, I think eventually "regular" dogs & coyotes or any other similar animal could become a mini figure. Those are the ones I can think of for now. But if their is a mini figure of it, we should consider a possible creature that going to be need made. I was also thinking if it exists in D&D or even in Starfinder we should have a version in this game. Someone might have a desire to play that creature. I was just showing I got some items available. But consider the recent issues Brickshelf have had, using it as a hosting spot might not be the best idea, besides I don't think you could even set up a new account. For a standard on pictures a 100×100 pixels square with a solid color background should be easy enough to do, we don't want to make it to complicated. I am still not sure about "battle maps" or "establishing shots" what standard should be used for that stuff. Was there any standards before?

Well this might help probably about half are 100x100 squared. https://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=544469&n=0 I found some of them over the internet and then tried to resized them right. I know some of them are not what you might need but if you want to double check them. And if you have any questions about using one (or some) I think PM (or DM) would be a preferred method of contact with a title like "picture usage".

Angor "The Arboretum" (samurai-turtle) "20 Years" Old; Male; Orc Barbarian Level 1 Power - 4 Health - 8/8 Gold - 10 Equipment - Crystalline Hammer (WP:3), Inventory - Potion, Mead, The Story So Far... Traveling far and wide, Angor original comes from a mountainous region near farming planes (living in the mountains with other Orcs). The humans farmers started to call him "The Arboretum" because they thought he looked similar to a tree (from his Olive Green skin plus his Brown hair to his Yellowish eyes and being about Seven feet tall). And then the rest of the Orcs stared to call him that and the nickname just stuck. Having some desire to be a "Champion", Angor started to compete in the "Entertainment Pits", after awhile he noticed a limit to his skills. At some point he stared to talk to Dwarves and other creatures coming to watch the "Pits" he stared to get ideas to look for some kind of "Master" to help him become a "Champion". But, right now Angor is staying in community with a "little" snow problem can he help them... I hope this is what you want, I put the story in mostly because I had very similar character made but haven't used yet. (And maybe help flesh out a little more of the guy.) But the picture is probably not the right size if someone could resize it I would appreciate I only have a questionable cell phone to work with. Edit - I added the correct size picture but keep the original for reference sakes. -

Is their an estimated time when this quest might start? -
Well some Walmart(s) here is having LEGO clearance I ended up finding in the Ninjago line, Lloyd's spin jitsu slam for $5 & Kai's (and a ice samurai) spin jitsu slam for $9; the arcade pods between $5 - $7.50. For other lines I found the Star Wars "Micro" Y-Wing for $5 & a city "small one man" shuttle for $7.50, your markets will vary.

It looks like they fixed the problem.

I guess that brings up a new question does anyone remember original stats for characters, they seem to disappear in the original thread. And do we really need a "theme song" for our character? What is this "town style" quest you mentioned in the first post? I think you might be overthinking something'(s)s. Right now it sounds like a couple of short things. But, I am thinking maybe someone(s) could run a few mini quest; like kill × amount of rats, snakes and bats or gather × amount of mushrooms, rocks and shells. Well I think people get the point. P.S. What is up with this poll on this thread? I try to look at the results and the whole thing seems to disappear. -

I was wondering if this is some how connected... And are we going to make up our own character or is it going to be like "Across the Snow" thing? Plus, did you think of tagging everyone that is current in the forum that is also in "Hero Statistics" Thread. I know it could take a little bit of work but it could pay off. -
Well here is some news about Discovery... https://www.google.com/amp/s/nypost.com/2020/08/26/cbs-taps-star-trek-discovery-one-day-at-a-time/amp/ I guess when you got nothing else to show why not? Probably good for people who haven't seen the show yet. And if you are to lazy to check the link: Thursday's at 10pm you can start watching Discovery on TV (the first season) starting on September 24 (on CBS).

REVIEW: 71028 LEGO Minifigures - Harry Potter Series 2
samurai-turtle replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Licensed
I found a mistake! Number 3) Ron Weasley and then number 4) Ron Weasley ??? Ok one of them is spouse to be Hermione Granger. When I first seen the whole series, I was like aaeernnn. I was thinking I would only like one or two. But now getting one from Target for $5 I think I will wait and see if I could eventually get the others I want for cheaper like at Walmart. -
Someone might want to double check this out I still get a triangle with a exclamation mark when I look in a thread. And the front page. P.S. I am using the mobile version.

Yesterday, I found a LEGO DC Super Hero book with Green Lantern Jon Stewart and a little green vehicle (it looked like a second run because it came with a bonus poster & stickers) in an Ollie's for $7. Now I got three different Green Lanterns in my collection.

I spotted a "Overwatch Wrecking Ball" at a Walmart for $16+tax. I thought it might be my last chance to get this set, even though I never had any plans to get this set.

Whenever I grabbed this stuff... I got the "new" Mandalorian Battle Pack and before that got some of the series 20 Collectable Mimi Figures. Went back to Walmart the other day and noticed the series 20 Collectable Mimi Figures gone and from the looks of it the Mandalorian Battle Pack could be gone in a week or two.

What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
samurai-turtle replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The local Walmarts restocked the "new" Mandalorian Battle Pack last week and I grabbed one. Went back to the same store the other day where I grabbed one and it looks like they are going to be gone again in a week or two. -
LEGO Monkie Kid 2020
samurai-turtle replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I can see something like that, like in the movie "The Forbidden Kingdom" (with Jackie Chan and Jet Lee). But I think they called "him" something like the traveler or staff bearer. -
Minidolls... Action Themes Ideas
samurai-turtle replied to Harkonen's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
That stuff looks like something out of Metroid. But looking at more it does have a Bionicle look to it.
