What was the last movie you watched?
samurai-turtle replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
The og Star Trek movies, I found some cheap blu ray(s) of them. And trying to get the first six movies (I should be getting the sixth movie this week). Watching them with the commentary can get a little dull since they seem to have more than one "track". Watching them back to back probably doesn't help. -
Hello, I was wondering if an ruling has been made about vehicles type of like "tanks" and "airplanes". For example I was thinking the main vehicle (a tank) would get it's stats, then a driver would get it's stats and a gunner would get it's stats. But if the driver or gunner gets "killed" by an allies then a enemy on foot could take over said position. Plus, I was wondering about robotic vehicles and would just get their single stats or would they need some thing else? I guess the other main thing is how one would make a battle map/grid? I am thinking some one might have to make some sort of tutorial on how to make one. Because at this time I am sort of drawing a blank and I figured it might help other people out.

I don't think "mini" is the right word for this build it looks about the right size for the official Hulk figure. If I had to pick apart any thing is shouldn't some of the parts be "glowing" but I guess a simple color swap is all you need.

Some of this is mostly coming from outside areas like watching to much TV shows like "news" programs and I don't care how old it makes me seems. But basically I had an idea an I thought other people might like it, so I shared it, and it came off like HELL NO! @Classic_Spaceman You are making it sound like their is a big conspiracy theory behind the monoliths. But all I had in mind was some funky background places, as they appear and disappear with no obvious reason and no bad side affects. I do have and idea(s) for some quest where they make an appearance as a glorified cameo. But that is about it with them. @Lord Duvors I think we had different ideas what an Easter Egg is. And I really don't want to single you out, but it does seems like you are coming off more negative recently (or the last few months). And some of this might just me projecting other person's personally onto you (that I am related to). I think they are always seem to be "whining" (and if you ask a few other of my relatives they will agree with me, of course they might use a more harsher word than "whining" to describe what they do)... ..And I will try to be a better person and just apologize for the negative attitude I might be projecting to you or anyone else. Maybe I should do one of those "dramatic exit" I heard about and see what it is about.

That is why I said it is an Easter Egg, it is mostly for fun if you don't want to use fine. But at the same time I also thought if you destroy one (monolith) for what ever reason, that a monster is summoned and you have to deal with it, like you ticked off some sort of "god".....But at the same time (and this is just for every one in general) things seem to be going slowly here and I am getting a little tired / board just waiting around. Even wondering if anything is going to happen here, their was that one quest with @Lind Whisperer but that stopped for personal reasons wondering if it is going to star up again (not that he has to or anything). And if you just look around what is going around the world, I feel like I should be concentrating on other stuff. Plus, it seems like everyone is just ticked off, part of me just wants to say "BEEP" OFF (at every one in general) they are never going to be happy no matter what one would do. And then I wonder if I am any good at this "BEEP" (D&D stuff like quest/game mastering or character creating in general) and just go do some other stuff. Sorry for the weird rant, I guess I need to say some thing about what is going on.

If you want 75266 Sith Battle Pack check out Walmart they had a stack of them for (on clearance) $4.05+tax each. At that price I figured it is worth at least getting one. I also seen a few more sets on good clearance price like Luke's land-speeder and Anakin fighting Obi-Wan.

Basically yes, I imagine colors could be combined. Or even other colors can be used. But as you can see the "black" monolith is mostly brown. Mostly because I used my Ninjago "spinner" sets for inspiration. For those that don't know anything about Magic: The Gathering, you are playing a wizard like creature and you are summoning things but you need land(s) to cast "spells". And my thinking is how would the wizards get the Mana from the land(s). Why not use monoliths? For the first creatures it sounds like transparent (mini figure) parts would be used to make the guys. For the second creatures it sounds like Minecraft figures are being used. Maybe a picture of what you have in mind might help get you point across better.

Well I got around and made some monoliths, one for each color. A picture of all five monoliths... For each color you would find in a different landscape: red is for mountain(s), green is for forest(s), blue is for island(s), black is for swamp(s) and white is for plain(s). If you want to see the monoliths separately the picture gallery is here... https://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=544496

If you really want to change your name, I am pretty sure you can change it yourself (once every year or x amount of days) from your account settings (somewhere). Any more extra times you want to change your name you would have to get one of the moderating staff involved.

Well Walmart must to want to get rid of 71718 Wu's Battle Dragon because it is clearance priced at $4+tax. I grabbed the last one at the store today. (Plus you can get Spinjitzu Burst Lloyd for $4+tax at walmart. I got that last week.) Also Target has the collectible mini figure series 21 out, I grabbed the airplane girl and centaur lady. You might have to look near the checkout lanes for the mini figures.

Not too much, mostly just for communication with each other and to connect to local internet computers. But I have an idea for a cyber version (for a quest) I was thinking of calling it "War Bot Program". Is any of that helpful? Like I said before the main idea behind War Bot(s) is cannon folder and to distribute nano bots that they carry (to make more War Bots).

I was thinking of some Easter egg like item(s) if you played an other game(s). The basic story is: Throughout the Galaxy mysterious monoliths appear and disappear throughout the lands. No one knows why they come and go, all anyone can tell is the monoliths occasionally redirects energy to somewhere and they seems to come in five different colors. Anyone who spends time near a monolith feels like their spirit is fully restored. What I was thinking besides that they automatically refills magical powers is that they could also be used for a type of sanctuary, for example if the party needs to sleep, camp near one of the monolith(s). But what I had in mind for the monoliths, I might not be able to do all five colors, probably just three. Incase anyone is wondering what the colors are: black, white, red, green and blue. Plus their could be multiple types of the same color, kinds like the game I am thinking of, hopefully I will get one (or more) made and be able to show a picture of them.

H20: Fantasy's Back on the Menu!

I think the game went into a holding pattern, I would prefer if @Lind Whisperer would confirm this, it has been about a week now and no new updates. -

@Lind Whisperer if you really feel like, doing whatever for whatever reason. Personality the long time between post does sort of keep me out of game. And I really wouldn't blame you for anything, and would not hold any negative thoughts towards you. I hope it come out the right way and not to confusing. -

Huh would you hear that? It probably just a general rule, you know to avoid getting lost...you know this village might have a map of the place, or part of one at least. Those soldiers might know what roams the maze, or at least they should know. -

What is that noise? As he attempts to figure it out. OoC: -
Well I was thinking about we probably need someone to keep track of the "monsters" in the game and I thought of this... Well hello there, I am Stellhorn. I maybe a simple clone but when I was researching my family tree, I found out that some people might consider "us" (my family and me) big trouble makers. But, I also found other trouble makers that could be considered just as troublesome as my family members, and I figured someone should help educate everyone on these potential threats. I eventually convince the "powers to be" to set up a database of these threats. And like any good evolving database it is open to new information. And if your information is considered good enough to be added (after approval) you can get a finder's fee.

What the heralken is this, a tree rat and some bug, I thought this was going to be some challenge... Grabbing his hammer with both hands and swing away at the "battle ant" (from the front). -

I don't know, I guess it is better than saying "it is very, very far over that way" it probably someone idea of an average amount of length that can be imagined, not like I came up with whole thing, it was taught to me. Come to think of more, I think this Kingdom of Nexo is on the southern pole not the northern one. Besides you are not wearing the right colors I believe they use blue and white with some sort of orange highlights. What are you wearing some sort of black and yellow, why does that seems familiar... They won't be enemies for long if I get a hold of them. Is she going to question every thing we are going to do? -

Fine just so you don't think it is something gross. Drag-leaks: defined by some dictionary is; how far a dragon can jump... Now I feel like I should punch myself in the face for saying that stupid sentence. She probably won't say or it some how doesn't have a name... Wait a second you don't come from this "Kingdom of Nexo" that I heard about, Yelana? You have children? I rather take out the guards now. I don't want them sneaking up us, especially if we are dealing with something worst. -

Didn't I just tell you what it is?... Do we want to know what a "klicks" is? So, what is it a scorpion or a dragon? Probably thinking they are talking about a food recipe. If their is movement down that way we should find out what it is. Trying to see what it could be. -
It sort of similar to the Death Star / Star Killer, as if you ever heard of the Star Forge from "knights of the old republic", and how it would get made. As for the "to modern day political" I am referring to the background story I had in mind, but I might not do it because part of it is just wishful thinking on my part. Sort of, since they would be part of this "hell dimensnion", mostly it is just naming things at this point. Plus we should consider things / creatures might have more than one name since they could be far spread and the locals probably would not of heard of the other name.

Just a few more points that got brought up. First one, "gods" maybe some of them should be like "demigods" because that is what some of them that have been brought sounds like to me. Besides "sci-fi gods" the first one that comes to my mind is Q (from Star Trek). Next item, I do think transdimensional travel should be possible. Because one "enemy type" I have in mind basically comes from a "hell dimension" witch allows them to jump around from planet to planet. I was thinking it could be for a couple of different ways, one is someone summoned them or a bunch of death(s) allows them to break through to a planet. I imagine this is how most demons (or dark creatures) can show up on multiple planets. The explored Galaxy as other have said on only part of it should be know. I was thinking probably only a fourth of it. That way it gives potential Game Masters a place to go for newer stuff. Again, I am bringing up Star Trek in The Next Generation how much of the galaxy was actually considering explored. For any jump gates maybe they should be only used for long distance travel, like the interstate highway between big cities. (I am sure someone mentioned something similar just can't remember who). For "magic", their is different types of "wizards". I can imagine their is a couple of different types of "magic particles" that get used for spell casting.
