  1. Definitely not However it's so dry with animal news these days so I welcome anything here now I know nothing about it either, but I do know there are a lot of them, so the mould budget in that theme will be sky high. As long as it do not affect numbers of animals in other themes that is fine by me (seems unlikely, I know HP stole mould budget from JP in 2018, but that is most likely the exception from the rule. Seems every theme has it's own budget) I am sure a lot of fans will collect them and they will be a big seller..
  2. I do not know anything about the science behind yellowing, but my guess is that it's affected on where you live in the world in addition to how much sunlight the parts are exposed to. It also seems that some batches of plastic is worse than others and colors like white, blue and light grey seems most problematic. I have a white horse I got from a flea-market lot, that one of the sides are extremely yellowed on one part, but the other side and the head parts is white. If it only was the sun that was the problem at least half the head should be affected in addition to inside of the legs on the other side..
  3. Apparently they are made from prelim pictures of the sets so they could change, but would be surprised if we do not get a single new animal out of the patronus gimmick. Hopefully they will include them in the sets in the coming years also.. HP has a lot of budget and are not afraid to use it on new animal moulds after all
  4. It was just a scale how well you liked the idea on each point, I was mostly on the natural-negative side on most of them There was also a question about about what kind of modular set idea (new or revisited) I would like to see. You should choose 3 of a lot of "older modulars" and some new ones. There I choose park, train station and post office.
  5. Hi and welcome Yesterday I answered a survey about Lego Icons sent to my LUG, there where a few general questions, but after that most of the questions was about Modulars and Winter village sets. How do you feel about: second modular series (steampunk, historical etc) wider sets narrower buildings sets from real world IP Sets from other styles/part of the world taller buildings extra sets to add more floors on the buildings etc So they are interested in finding out more what the customers want from the modular series at least, not sure if that has anything to do with the anniversary next year or not
  6. Yes, unfortunately they have stopped with paper part list, they probably save a lot of money and paper so make sense.. They will ship the order even if a part is missing from stock now, sometimes they ship it later and sometimes they delete it it seems. So must pay more attention now and put any missing parts back on the next order, but it seems there is less delay now at least
  7. Yes it had the potential to become the G.O.A.T. set when it came to animals and Lego cut the budget big time and gave us one recoloured goat instead. I was shocked for months, the set is decent, but could have been so much more and ended up selling below expectation and retired early
  8. You are probably right, series 20 was not anything special. 50 years of minifig on the other hand should be crazy
  9. Pretty sure they used the CMF budget since the Icons set had not the budget to do it themself. Icons MTS was a very low budget set compared to the high budget set that leaked of it a year before
  10. Thank you, perfect when someone have a good source to back their claims I still think the wording of the goat mould was damaged means that it was destroyed because they could not find a use for it in a set the next 5 years.. No wonder when they closed down the castle theme and had not any farm sets in City etc.. OK, so both the mouse and flamingo are probably made in China then, if they where made today they would probably showed up in BAM or a set
  11. I had to contact CS since they charged me for shipping, they gave me Insider points to cover both the shipping and to buy the part when it is back in stock However recommend you to pay more attention with orders going forward since parts can suddenly disappear. On the other hand orders seem tho ship faster now
  12. Yes, and that makes sense when parts disappear as well, up to 5 years old parts show up again without much issue in a new set, after that it seems much harder. That video was a eyeopener to me and it suddenly made sense why the goat mould was destroyed. It believe the CMF parts are special and are made on a different factory (in China?). If they want a CMF part in a set later they need to make a new mould in another factory for it. Since they already have made the mould once it cost less money to make a copy of it than something from scratch. However probably more than another part already in production and some parts they do not find a use for outside the CMF Take this with a pinch of salt, I think I have read it somewhere, but do not have a source to show you.
  13. Yes, it's possible they can just use any mould that have been in use within the last 5 years I am not do not think so at least, somebody else with a better memory can help us out BAM definitely have a lot of recolors of parts (even a few animals) and a lot on new prints on minifigures etc.
  14. No prints in Match, but maybe the black kitten will show up printed somewhere
  15. New elementary have all the new parts every months (you can get it other places as well), a few years ago it was more like: "Look at what I found on PAB just now!!". https://www.newelementary.com/2026/02/lego-pick-brick-new-elements-coming-in.html
