I could see a MCU Phoenix minifig coming when Disney/Feige decides to do that story (IF they decide to do that story). I imagine it'd be similar to Shazam where we got the movie version in sets and the comic version from Comic Con. Same goes for Spider-Woman. There's been rumors of Daisy Ridley in the title role but that was only because she recently costarred with Tom Holland in Chaos Walking and news media outlets need to hit their daily clicks number. It's only a matter of time before we get a Spider-Woman movie, though.

You're probably right. I don't know how they couldn't be considered no-no's if we've never seen it happen before. The only circumstance I can think of is Azog.

Question (Apologies if it's off topic. If so, I can remove my comment): Does TLG look at re-releasing rare Comic Con minifigures as a strict no-no? I ask because I'd love to get a black suit Superman for my Snyder Cut JL, symbiote Spider-Man and Jessic Drew Spider-Woman. It's hard to imagine they'd never put a symbiote Spider-Man in a set but we have gotten a large variety of Spider-Man characters with none of them being symbiote Spidey. I'm starting to think the remaining unknown minifigures in the DB set are just villains or characters we've seen before. I would think if they were unique we would've been teased by now. Hoping I'm wrong but I'll still buy the set if I'm not lol

@SpiderJazz You seem to collect similarly to me, just buying the minifigure. How much do you think DD and Punisher will go for on Bricklink when the set's released?

Take this how you will but Borex asked a couple days ago if the black and white dual molded legs were for Black Cat or Punisher. This is what Falconfan1414 had to say:

I'll take any design of DD over the spandex. If it has to be the spandex, though, I'll take the spandex over no DD minifigure at all. I've been waiting years for Lego to finally make a DD minifig. I haven't played Ultimate Alliance 3 but I Googled DD's look and I really like it.

I was assuming they would go with the comic book look but I could be totally wrong. I was also assuming the DB would be based off the comic book. @Falconfan1414, can you say anything about DD? Whether we'll be getting news soon or what he's gonna look like?

I think you make a good point. Just because there’s a large number of minifigures included in this set doesn’t necessarily mean that the sinister six are going to appear. I think Venom can be an indicator that it may be a variety of random Spider-Man villains. I want the sinister six but maybe we’ll just get a few randos like Carnage, Hobgoblin, etc.. Although, maybe the inclusion of Venom in a DB set means we’re getting a reporter Eddie Brock minifigure, which imo still makes the sinister six a possibility. Man, I can’t wait for the unveiling of this set! On a side note, more than anything I want a bigfig Venom and we know that’s not happening.

This is a very helpful list. Thanks! Do we know if bigfigs are off limits for the Daily Bugle sets? If that’s the case, I don’t think they’ll be able to do Kingpin and Rhino justice. I know Kraven has already been done but I would love a minifig without a face that’s been used on another minifig as he’s my favorite Spidey villain. My birthday’s coming up this month but I told my wife I’m going to wait for the DB in May for my birthday present. Really anxious to see some photos. 😁

It's really too bad Lego doesn't fit a whole lot into the budget for new molds. I don't think the new BP minifig looks bad. I think it looks great but I think a new helmet would've been cool. It's crazy how some characters with less screen time like Yellowjacket get a new mold but other characters like Wasp (who's been in a couple movies and more to come) get an old mold. I'm assuming it has to do with the budget at the time and whether it's been used elsewhere or not. Not seeing dual molded legs, printing on arms or legs or new molds isn't a deal breaker for me but it's kind of a bummer. I can always customize my minifigures to my own liking, that's what's so great about Lego in the first place. If I want to use Owen Grady's face for Star-Lord then you bet your a$$ I will, even if Marvel decides not to use that head for the upcoming wave. At least we can expect the Marvel CMF to have some extremely detailed minifigures.

I don’t think it’s been nearly discussed enough how inaccurate Black Cat looks without her cleavage lol Joking aside, I really like the Black Cat minifig. I don’t mind the reuse of the hairpiece and I’m not surprised we’re seeing that hairpiece again. I think her cat mask is accurate. I have some beef with the torso, though. There’s no way that’s the final design, right? I’m kidding about the cleavage part but she’s gotta be showing a little skin in that area on the torso, just like the video games.

Yeah, a $30 Sanctuary II set seems really strange. I can’t imagine it’ll be a micro fighter type set but who the hell knows? Maybe it’ll be similar to 7754 - Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser where it’s just the interior of the ship. But still, doesn’t seem like much detail is going to go into this set with only 265 pieces included. I kind of dig this hairpiece in tan for Endgame Cap Marvel: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=37823#T=C I’d much rather have that than the usual Star-Lord, Steve Trevor hairpiece.

Is Captain Marvel coming in any of these 2021 sets? I was really hoping for an Endgame Cap Marvel minifig.

I don't think that's a great argument. Spidey has crossed paths with the entire team numerous times. From being the "Bombastic Bagman" to having a limited series called "Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four", he's worked with the entire team many times. In fact, he's got a great relationship with Reed Richards, sharing the scientist common interest. I get that the friendship of Johnny and Peter is close, heck Spidey even joined the Future Foundation as part of Johnny's last will/request, but I don't think LEGO is going to take that into account. Spidey has crossed paths with all the members of the Fantastic 4 more so than Ghost Rider and we've got two sets of that team up. Not a bad idea lol

Damn, only collected the minifigs on that one and I'm regretting it. I'd be very surprised if DD has a helmet piece and I doubt he gets both. I'll bet they go the Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 route and put red black panther ears on his head backwards. I would love a helmet piece but that would be more appropriate for a MCU DD. I’m probably behind but I just saw the new Shuri minifig and it looks AMAZING. Probably going to still use the bottom of the Darth Vader helmet for the panther jaw thing that she wears. I don’t know we’ll see. Whoa, and now the Daredevil newspaper! It’s gonna be a good year fellas!
