  1. Hobbes: Oh my! That's a relief, man! I thought I had to give them away for free! X-D Lord Thrawn: Thanks! Glad you liked them! Those vibroswords were a pretty time-consuming project, but if you've played KotOR, you know the feeling when you just need one for your figs... I simply couldn't resist. *sweet* KhoRne: It's a pleasure to know that someone's actually watching my folder, not waits untill it's 'bumped up'. Wish more B-Shelfers were like you... :-) Joe: Well, in times like this I grab a pen and start writing down the lyrics and later google-search them. Really helps. As for the name - thanks! An archaic Windows Media Player at a friend's house gave me the idea - I used to be known as the 'Great Pretender', but I like 'UA' somewhat better. ;-) oo7: Well, Ben actually summed it up. There's no real trick - just find a suitable old pencil and cut the bracket holding the eraser into two parts - one of them being approximately 1.5 cm long. Simply bend it and here you go - a nice replacement for the official TLC ligtsaber. ;-) Mr Tiber: Sorry for disappointing you, really. I didn't choose the number, and there was no conspiracy theory. I just got lucky, I guess. :-D 4J: Ah, you're too modest! Customizing isn't hard at all - you should really try it one day. Just don't forget to send me a link! Ben: You call -this- Europe, eh? I'll let the prime minister know - he'll be VERY happy. ;-) BJ: [in a misterious voice, with Yodaish accent] The custom side clouds everything. Impossible to see, this forum is... [/Yodaish] *yoda*
  2. Welcome, welcome! I almost feel like I'm on the old good MCN butchering I mean moderating :-P some topic. It's a real pity I can't edit posts here. Oh Well. You can't have it all at once. Invasion, eh? *vader* Get the turbolasers ready, Ben. BJ, take the right fank. CB, you know what to do. Full forward on the 'Contest Entry' topic on my mark! >:-)
  3. Oh, I am sure that he claims to be the only person who 'did' it - there's a difference. ;) Wow! That's awesome! It is possible to get every fig TLC ever produced for anyone who's willing to spend enough time and money on it - most minifigs were produced in mass quantities. Oh, I guess it's good that I don't own that collection - too many torsos would get replaced by decals - the purists would certainly be against me 'ruining' it... :D
  4. Yes, splitting them is a good idea - I, for example, would not buy a more than 5-10 of them. On B-Link, the prices for the official new officers are pretty high, so I think that these will sell well - all for 70-100$. Indeed, prices in dollars would be great - converting currencies sometimes gets painful... Good Luck!
  5. You know, I recently saw this on B-Shelf and was amazed. I will agree with the others and say that the MOC is a great blend of System and Bionicle parts - to tel the truth, I have never seen anything like this before. I wonder, what did you use for his handkerchief (?) he's got round his neck?
  6. I appreciate you welcoming me, guys! Yoda: Thanks! If not for Ben, it would have taken a lot of time for me to register - I have been visiting your site from time to time, but the minifig contest DD told me about really intrigued me. Though I may not be able to participate (I'm moving to a new apartment, so it will be a little trcky to finishsomething decent in time), I've got a few ideas. ;) Sir Dillon: Thank you! I am working on a personal website (Unknown Artist Studio), where you will be able to learn more about my customs - even buy them at the shop - I hope it will be more interactive than my good old B-Shelf. ;) I'd be very happy if you visited it once it's finished. Wow! I didn't notice I was No:900! 8) That's the first time I got such a round number... Double T: I'm really happy I've finally signed up! Now I can feel that I live in Europe. ;)
  7. Hello, Good People of EuroBricks! Let me introduce myself: My name is Victor. You can call me UA, Unknown, Artist, Unknown Artist or simply Victor. My age is insignificantly small compared to the age of the universe, and I live in a place far, far away from the center of civilization. Apart from being a huge Star Wars and Lego fan, I like playing guitar, tennis, soccer, working out, listening to music, occasionally acting, of course, modifying my PC. Apart from the SW, I like watching movies like Lord of the Rings, Troy, I Robot, Enemy of the State, Interview witha Vampire, Once Upon a Time in Mexico and, of course Tomb Raider. I have been in the hobby for a long time now, but only started customizing minifigs two years or so ago - you can check out my customizations here. Well, let me also thank DD - Ben - BlindBricks for reminding me for how long I wanted to join your site... ;) I hope we'll all have some great time!
