  1. Just curious if instructions for this version were ever generated?
  2. Great advise, I am going to rebuild and lubricate. But the air I will definitely try. 4 small pumps you think?
  3. @Berthil Have you tried replacing the batteries in the Lego 8878? Are you still using genuine Lego 8878 or have you moved to aftermarket? I always enjoy admiring your work. Have you built the Akiuki Pneumatic module? Curious about your thoughts on that one. I'm currently trying to master both the pneumatic module, train cars and un-loader - all Akiuki designs.
  4. Incredible Build!! Where do I find those storage containers you use for your parts?
  5. Were you able to test the transformer with the red plug to see what its capabilities are? I'm interested in using these to run more than a few GBC using 1 transformer. GREAT video as always.
  6. You can use the white stripe for hidden wires......
  7. @1974 - Go here for wire. I have repaired many 9V wires with GREAT success thanks to @BatteryPoweredBricks. I haven't had to repair sensors yet - But Thank you @alexGS for your demonstration - I feel less apprehensive toward repairing the sensor wires using your method.
  8. @Berthil - Do you have any other photos so I can try this out?
  9. Thank you, Is your corrected file linked on Page 1 of this thread?
  10. Been working on the Akiyuki Pneumatic trying to solve the jerky movements. I had been thinking about this mod for a while. The up down movements were pretty easy to dial in using the ever so touchy sliders. So I thought why not adapt those to the rotation movement. That worked out pretty well. The only other issue I need to address is the rack that shifts just enough for the scoop arm to get caught on with weight in the basket.
  11. So here are the before and after mods to the Akiyuki Reverse Module. So far working flawlessly. IMG_4797 by Steve Niedzwiecke, on Flickr IMG_4796 by Steve Niedzwiecke, on Flickr
  12. I am considering adapting the direction selection from Type 1 into the type 2.....
  13. Looking for the Type 1 building instruction in pdf form....
  14. That seems easy enough - Thanks for your response. Question, What makes version 2 better than version 1? Version 1 seems less complicated and less wires to deal with.
  15. Anyone have the instructions for adding the 24 tooth to the right side of the reverser?
  16. Thank you - wondering how to convert the XLS files to .bsx files?
  17. Great video, I ran this module a couple weeks ago for 3 days at a show. My original compressor had to replace the compressor that Blackbird included in his instructs. That one made it 3 hours until a shaft and gear worked out. I have since then rebuilt Blackbirds version, and it works well. I am having some of the same issues you had. I plan to make the rotation valve more adjustable like the up down valve. That way I can fine tune a bit better. I'm also thinking maybe I need to adapt your air limiter to the rotate valve. I may take the main airlines separately down to the compressor with independent pressure adjustments. I think with these small mods This module can run fairly consistent for days.
  18. Hi, Yes for the original Akiyuki instructions. The ones I am unable to upload to bricklink are A18010_TrainUnit and A18014_TrainUnloader. Thank you in advance for fixing them. It makes it a lot easier to determine what I have and what what I'm missing using bricklink. Also I'd be interested to know how to fix these for future issues, It seems more of common problem now.
  19. Is anyone able to update the .bsx files? They error out in bricklink when uploaded.
  20. Hi, Is there a particular train track that is used? There seems to be many versions available. I wanted to use the one that works best for this application. Thanks in advance.
  21. Thank you! That did work. Now to collect parts.
  22. Any Luck with this parts list for the Akiyuki Ball Cleaner? I'm still having issues uploading it to Bricklink. Thanks in advance.
  23. Question on the opposing motors that drive one of your compressors. Do you have to reverse the polarity inside the connector?
  24. I think it works through labview in a way and using an SD in The EV3 - I haven't fully read up on it yet. Try this Link: https://pybricks.com/ev3-micropython/ I bought a bad Lipo pack - I'm going to see if I can dissect it so all I need is the AC adapter to plug into the shell and use the contacts as the connection points, or maybe even replace the Lipo inside.
