  1. Was looking for something the same and found this: http://personallydifferent.com/family-symbols.php
  2. Very cool!
  3. Great review! You can alway buy a new stickerset from Bricklink. It's "only" 95 Euro....
  4. Great build!
  5. I did replace the sand green with sand blue on the facade (as you can see if you closely inspect the image), but i can't remember exactly how many bricks i needed. Mainly the bricks with groove and some smaller. For the sides you might as well use another color. Best way to figure out your needed bricks, is go is try it in LDD or with the instructions. End result was this: https://www.flickr.c...tnl/6116845810/ As for rebuilding the Cafe Corner. Most fun (i guess) is making the puzzle and collecting the pieces. I ended up selling my Cafe Corner and creating something myself based on the Cafe corner. Way cheaper and more fun. (And also makes it easier to let the kids play with it, instead of a $750 Cafe corner set).....
  6. Haha, great creation! I hope those knights don't fear a bit of motion sickness
  7. Create job Tijger! The building itself is great, the interior is excellent!
  8. It is. Tried (a lot) of different parts, but in the end I ended up with just a goblet... even for more on Bricklink... So with this building I want to show people that it is waaaay more fun (and a lot cheaper) to create something a bit different, but still very recognizable.
  9. Congratulations to the winners! Great entries.
  10. Hi all, It's been a very long time since I posted. But still love lego and enjoying all the brilliant creations out there! After selling my original Cafe Corner (for a rediculous price), I had some free space and money to build something myself. Honestly I don't see the fun (anymore) of recreating a "perfect" 10218, but I did want to go for another Cafe Corner based building. I'm not so much an interior builder, but I did my very best for the lower floor. And finally an overview Looking forward to hear from you all Cheers, Dutch PS: Still haven't posted pics from my earlier moc from 2 years ago (http://www.eurobrick...wtopic=65483) Hope to make some soon PS2: Next building won't be a corner building. I promise!
  11. Absolutely stunning interior! Wow! Also love the rooftop design. Something I have to try myself ;)
  12. Wow! I Really love it. I'd vote for it if you put it on Cuuso for sure. As for the roof; I wouldn't go for tiling and leave it as it is or...you could also fill up to roof with loose 1 x 1 round bricks. Keep up the goods!
  13. Beautiful overall creation! My favs are the escalator and the advertisements.
  14. I love the shape of the building. The interior is also great!
  15. Wow. Now That IS a city! Great work on all the mocs!
  16. Absolutely beautifull! Great work all over!
  17. Tan works pretty good (more realistic as well I guess). I love the modded basement and the added interior!
  18. Wow, what a great MOC. I especially love all the machines!
  19. Thank you all for your positive comments! Since it's still not finished, I'll try some of the tips you guys mentioned. First thing is to work on the interior and maybe some other details. As for the stripe on the first floor. I'm in doubt (again :)) if I should make it all white, dark blue, or a thin (dark blue) line as mentioned. Greets, DutchTreat
  20. Great job! The butcher is my favorite "outside" building, but the Skate shop's interior rock!
  21. Hi All, Thanks so far for the comments! Really appreciated. I was in very much doubt to use the limo sign on top of the building, and now I'm even more :) It was originally created to be on top of a Limo Garage (hope to post some pics later). The lower floor has some interior (stairs and a small kitchen), but no floor or furniture. Lots of idea's for the interior, but still working/trying/testing on that. Greets, Dutchtreat
  22. Very nice creations! You should try some of them large scale :) Are your models in a display box or something at work? Greets, Dutch
  23. Hi All, Just wanted to share my "Grand Corner". Shouldn't be to hard to guess what it's inspired on... This has been standing on my table for a quite a while, and it's still not finished. Final plan is that it's going to function as the office building for my GC Limo Service. Looking forward to constructive feedback, ideas, tips&tricks! Greets, Dutch
  24. I have two Green Grocers (bought them when they where normally availabe, my second Lego set, after the "dark ages"). I just bought some extra sand blue bricks on Bricklink to replace the front of the building. For now, I think I will keep them together, and add the petshop in sand blue and sand green next to them in a way. To make it better, I'll make some changes to make the buildings more unique. I mean: Two Green Grocers will be war as mentioned before :). I had them in a mirrored configuration before, but it seemed to lack a building in between. I've seen someone do that, but I never had the time to do something like that. So took apart the mirrored green grocer, and followed the standard building scheme, but with the front in sand Blue. I agree. On my todo list is change the dark green from the bottom to Dark Blue, and also change the curtains. Not sure on replacing the tan. Since I only changed the front of the building, the sand green is quite distracting (at least on the picture).
  25. Hi all, After buying and building the Lego 3222 set a while ago, I couldn't resist to try the limo in a different color. Black and Dark Bluish Grey seemed the right choices. The Dark Bley and black doors seemed pretty rare, but I got some (although the black ones, were used). No big changes. Just added some "mirrors" and switched the black panels for trans-blacks. I was a bit disappointed with the black version, as it looks like a big black block with wheels. Tough to photograph and it looked so much different then when looked at it from LDD... Now recruiting Lego figs to go as their drivers, but I'm in doubt whether I should do them in yellow or flesh (but that's probably a whole other discussion). Also working on a garage to keep the limo's safe and dry. Pics will follow when ready. Any comments appreciated! Greets, Dutch
