I am not an adult yet but next summer im 18, so i guess its ok to anserw. I think at you cant be too old for colleting legos never, but surely you are right. I also arent buying my legos so much anymore and i have tooked some of my legos into a warehouse or gived some of them away and sold them also, i dont like to spend too moneys for legos because i know at i will need those money for somewhere else, so i dont spend money for legos at all sometimes, it can took a couple of weeks or month when i buy something again. I usually spend 50 euros on my legos and trying to not buy legos if i am not so intrested. I have some experience also explaining my girlfriend why im still collecting legos (She dont understand even at i tell her at its my hobby) But if you truly feel at you are too old for buying legos now, you can try to buy them later. I know someone who is over 50 and his still buying legos, i have gotted some legos for him too. Hopefully you will get back at buying legos in some point. EDIT: i forgot to say this one. Put you Legos away and wait for the right moment. I know one uy who is over 50 and still collecting legos. Captain Becker

Hello folks, i have started all over this ship and currently i am making the sides of it, i didnt like the hulls shape very much and the deck was too long and narrow. I had also problems at making the back gallery so i decided to start all over. I shall give some pics when i have finished the sides and maked the gun decks and placed the cannons, i made the curves on the ship so i will need some help at making the new deck. The color scheme has now white and black and i will give her a new name when i have finished her. Thanks Captain Becker

Well, i like the new one. Not because of its size but its much realistic than the old one. I have those old sharks too ´so i can onestly say at they arent very realistic at me. But the new 2009 sharks face re a bit cartoonish indeed and i dont like it 100% Pross on new 2009 shark: The Size its pretty good A minifig can go into its mouth the colours are nice The face are Cartoonish and nicely detailed The clicking sound when opening the mout Cons: The face is a bit Cartoonish (Yes, this i a good and the bad thing)¨ So i guess lego did succed at this shark, i dont think at the face would be necessery to make it realistic. Pross on Classic shak: The white shark (Yes i have this shark on black, white and dark and light grey) It can be used many different ways if you have some imagination Cons: Size is too small for me Not very realistic Minifig cant sit on shark The colors, there isnt many colous and like white and black colour dont make sense for me. But it surely looks cool So the old ones has some good but mostly i dont like it. But it can be used for many many different ways in many MOC`s. But if you think at i hate the classic shark, no thats not true, i like them both but sometimes the old isnt the best. Captain Becker

Oh i see now, Im sorry for blaiming for him, but avoid these i say you should do own files both of you, like: Daniel G and Cpt. K and you put your MOCs in your own files, thats how we can avoid these misunderstandings. Captain Becker

Captain Becker replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
What i have from round 1: 1 Ninja 1 Nurse 1 Forestmen (Or Robin Hood) 1 indian And what i have from round two (Buyed today) 1 Traffic cop 2 Jungle Explorers (Love this because of the working magnifier) 1 Weightlifter Thats all, so i cant say wich is better, round 1 or 2? I guess they are both cool ones. I didnt get those round 1 figs because wasnt time to buy them But i have time to buy Series 2 so i hope i get all of them in time. (Waiting series 3 already ) Captain Becker -

I`d say at two is good, BBB has also two mid sections and it has two masts, so i say two would be good. Captain Becker

If you had to collect it all over again...
Captain Becker replied to David Thomsen's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I say at its inpossible me to lost my legos in earthquick, in my country havent happened any earthquicks never. So actually i cant think at it, but if i would lost them in fire.. I guess i would just lost them but would collect the new legos couse those legos what i currently have cant be purhased anymore. So if i lost my old ones, i would think at "Oh well, gone whats gone" and wouldnt think at it anymore and would start to collect more legos in time Captain Becker -
It holds 67 cannons nd i agree at this wont be realistic at all, but it surely looks impresive, Aye mates? Captain Becker

Phred where did you get those shiny swords?? Please tell me, i want one for my self too Captain Becker

Its a really nice scene, i really like the avtion going on. Good luck for the constest Captain Becker

Well, if you dont own BBB you have to get one but if you can you HAVE to buy Imperial Flagship. Its mych cooler than BBB. But about the masts, i would do the masts like this: 3x and one of This those you wil need if you are gonna do three sails on one mast, the result would have to look like this But i dont say at this is a good technique, so just try to buy IF and see how the masts are done on that, and use them or try to find own technique. NOTE: i used LDD program so its not the perfect model but you should get the idea Captain Becker

Ah, you hitted in the gold mine, i have the same memory when i bought a couple of LEGO sets on eBay, the year was 2006 i was sure at i can get the real sets, and readed the presentation very carefully, but what happened? i byued the sets name: Treasure suprise, theme was pirates and what did i got? Only the box and the set wasnt there. The second time when i buyed was a cpuple of years ago 2007 i guess. i buyed (again theme was pirates) But this time the set was Sea mates. i didnt ever get that set. Thats why i dont trust on internet anymore and buy my lego on LEGO stores in my capital city or in normal stores. So always be careful on internet, its a dangerous place and if you want and theres sellers email, take contac on him first and talk whit him at you can be sure at you get your buying Captain Becker
