I would definately agree that the old line is a lot better than then new one, and I'm no old man with nostalgia. I do love the figures and buildings from the theme, really well done. I even did buy some of the sets, the fire temple was awesome! BUT I just think that those vehicles don't belong in that theme at all, it really ruined the line for some people. But I guess kids would be interested in that stuff. I'm just still hoping for some classic ninjas and samurai.

Thanks for the kind words , but I haven't been at my house during the day...so I haven't had any natural light to take photos. But since it's the weekend tomorrow I shall be able too.

Here is my embassy in Avalonia countryland. It is built and managed by Niels Ericson and his men. It is used to improve trade with Avalonia. Is also for those who seek refuge while wandering through this country. Due to no natural light, the pics are quite bad. I shall take better pictures of it soon! C&C welcome.

They did a lot better job solving the two stud window piece on this set! Rather than in Uruk-hai army set....which is plain ugly.

Great stuff! Gandalf Arrives: Nice little set. Gandalf looks better with his cape now, and Frodo looks nice. Shelob Attacks: Better than I thought. The web has been changed to white I see, Sam and Frodo both look to have two expressions. Orc's Forge: Ehh, not my favourite. Good figs and and useful parts. Uruk-hai army: Fantastic, amazing figs and playability. Attack on Weathertop: Nazgul look good, sting is nice little sword. Still not sure what the inside is for? Mines of Moria: Gimli's helm looks great, good figures. But lots of stickers there looks to be, but good parts. Helm's Deep: Theoden, Haldir, and Uruks look awesome! My favourite set of the line: lots of great parts and very playable. This theme looks to have a great start! Lots of parts that I can use in MOC'ing, especially that brick brick piece. Can't wait for these to come out!

The micro scale build sounds great! Good prizes too, though I haven't tried micro scale very much. I should have my embassy finished soon!

Well in the South of Mitgardia the landscape is very similar to Avalonia, the architecture is also not much different, other than that I don't think there is a closer option. But Nocturnus and Kailphlin do have some great stuff to build from too.

If it's not a cape, why does he look dark green?

Oh okay, I knew he didn't have a cape in the movie, I was just wondering why he looked green. But since he does have a cape it is easier to make him look like a generic rohan soldier.

I was just looking at the picture from the toyfair and saw that Eomer's torso looks like a shade of green, but isn't he supposed to be dark red?

It can, also can be attached to Helms Deep set to make a bigger scene. I also really wonder why there is an inside in Weathertop?

I'm pretty sure Frodo is supposed to have his jacket in the shelob scene, it's the gandalf scene where he just has a shirt and suspenders.

The figs look great for the most part! Aragorn looks unfinished, needs a cape or something. Gandalf should got a staff mould, and the Gimli's torso for some reason doesnt look right. Only thing about the baddies is that I don't like the different coloured hands; looks dumb. But other than that, good job TLC!
