  1. Lego set 8111 River Dragon Exo Force from the Littlewoods Discount shop in town for £4.50 with 25% extra discount. The only Lego set they had, they did have a few inferior MegaBlocks sets! Tipped it straight into the parts box when I got home
  2. Police bike is still available in the UK
  3. Sticker sheet wasn't/isn't stuck in the bottom flap of the box is it? Built a set the other day & thought the stickers were missing but discovered them when I looked in the box, under the unopened flap!
  4. 1276 assorted bricks & pieces from someone on Bricklink
  5. Can't see if it has one, but one of these is a must:
  6. I'm scared of losing my girlfriend, she's the greatest girl in the world Also dying alone, weird one but I fear being one of those people that die alone in the woods or somewhere & not discovered for years :skull:
  7. I'm sensitive to spirit & have seen & experienced a LOT since I was about 8. I have a notebook in which I've written almost everything I've experienced! Amongst them are 62 manifestations (10 of which were animal!), 7 shadow figures, 19 "orbs" seen with my naked eye. I've also heard a number of things, had a number of clairaudient experiences & been physically touched by spirit
  8. For me Cafe Corner & Green Grocer... now all I have to do is track one down cheap enough to buy!! Emerald Night is a looker too, a proper nice looking locomotive
  9. Light sanding would scratch the baseplate
  10. Today I went back to my first childhood & purchased the fire station I had back then for a bargain price! Ladies & Gentlemen, I present to you... 6385!
  11. I prefer town as it's true to life & you're unlimited in the creations & ideas you can come up with. I have a sheet of A4 paper with various ideas scribbled on for when I get around to creating my own Lego town layout. With things like space, pirates etc you are somewhat limited in what you can create. Town is what I played with in my childhood & is what I've chosen to play with in my second childhood!
  12. Excellent, read that about smooth bricks but wasn't sure about road pieces
  13. I've just bought some baseplates on eBay that I would like to remove some of the printed pattern from. Is there any way of doing this without scratching or damaging the baseplates?
  14. Argos Online A lot of items are out of stock but still some items
  15. What's best to use to clean secondhand Lego? Soap & water? Washing up liquid? Disinfectant?
  16. Mk1/Mk2 Escort models Ford RS Models Torquay United FC Football shirts & programmes (The football team I support) Traction Engine models, books, jigsaws & pictures Various other bits & pieces
  17. That cathedral is amazing!!! Should build the main cathedral part on the back with the stained glass windows, aisle & the pews
  18. 4 baseplates on eBay
  19. Romans would be fantastic!! Just think, Lego could produce a large scale coliseum to go with the Eiffel Tower & Taj Mahal! You could have things like chariots (Which have been produced before), centurions, lions, emporers, roman baths, long straight roads ( ), roman treasure, Marvin the martian helmets!
  20. Didn't buy anything, they were all presents: , a big grey base board & a red bucket of bricks
  21. OK, it's built. Not a bad model to build but could have done with a few "real" looking plants for the garden instead of the ones included. Maybe a bit of furniture for inside the house? A settee or bed (Had to make my own) & maybe a minifig or two would've been a bonus too. Had to raid the parts bin for bricks to construct a wall at the top of the staircase too to stop minifigs getting up blurry eyed & plunging head over the edge! Quite a big model to build though, enough to keep you occupied for a few hours.
  22. Should've pixelated the intimate areas to keep people happy End of the day it's not real pornography is it?
  23. TRU up here has a pretty poor selection & you pay over the odds for it
