  1. I was looking at building a 6 wide fire engine incorporating the electric light & sound system but overlapping them would add too much height & look awkward. May have to look into miniature LEDs/strobes instead
  2. Few more bits from BL
  3. Has anyone ever produced modified plates with contacts? There's the 1x2, 2x4 & 2x8 that TLG produced but want a 6 wide one (either 1x6 or 2x6 & preferably in red)
  4. MOCs mainly for me, it's more fun to design & create your own buildings from scratch
  5. Nice one, might have to look into that technique when I get around to doing my church MOC
  6. Can you take some close up pictures of the stained glass windows? How did you get the 2 fences used in the construction to stay top to tail?
  7. Yesterday & today I've spent a few quid buying bricks & pieces on Bricklink & eBay!
  8. Fantastic MOC
  9. Liking the Bronto the best

    Minimates

They look awful!! They look like they were designed by a 4 year old using an etchasketch!!
  11. How do you mean? The instructions are available online Cafe Corner: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=10182-1 Green Grocer: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=10185-1 Market Street: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=10190-1 Fire Station aren't available yet
  12. Think the truck needs shortening by a brick or two & the arches look a little too high. The trailer is fantastic though
  13. Not started my city yet but it will be mainly MOCs with occasional original models (Such as Cafe Corner & GG if I can find them!)
  14. Does anyone in the UK have any of the old style fixed glass windows 7026 with no extended lip in white? Looking for *ahem* 150 of them! OR these but white frames with white inners, not fussed whether the outer shutter clips are in place or not: Looking for 50 of those! Need them as cheap as possible in bulk (Looked on Bricklink already but expensive for bulk sets abroad) & in the UK
  15. Could always build a shower room instead of a bathroom if space is an issue? Shower would take up less space than a bath tub
  16. Fantastic set of MOCs
  17. Pretty good
  18. I've looked at the ones on Bricklink but they're abroad. Need one in the UK to cut delivery costs ideally
  19. Something like one of these gates may work better:
  20. I'm desperate to get my hands on this one! Don't need the carriage as it doesn't feature in my plans, just the loco & tender for a sweet MOC I'm planning on building
  21. Lego Tow Truck (7628) has them:
  22. That's pretty cool. I'd have been tempted to try & fit one of these: To attach the hook to, save it flapping about
  23. I like that, needs a set of doors instead of the bricks though. Like the arches
  24. Looks good
  25. I'm new to the world of Bricklink but over the past few days have won an item on the auctions & also put in an order for over 1200 bricks. Both sellers have been online today & yesterday but neither have sent an invoice yet. I emailed the person selling the auction lot & added a comment to the job lot but haven't had a response from either. How long does it usually take to receive an invoice? I'm desperate for my bits so I can build my MOC Fire station!!
