I voted for the 10021 U.S.S. Constellation because, even if it may not look like it, has many valuable parts. I often find myself running short of black and white plates and bricks (just white bricks). Plus, you get some string for your riggings. And you get some nice yellow pieces and red ones as well.

If not, I'll just by them online. I imagine the shakos will be easier to make. Externally, at least. EDIT: Oh, I've sort of figured on a price. I'm not sure if it's the best, but let's try it. Shako: $0.40 - $0.50 Each Bulk Lot $18.00 - $22.00 each for 50.

Good news! I found one of my previous designs while hunting for any stray pirate lego in my attic. It's a hard copy and not complete (reference to the blob at the bottom of the helmet), but it shows the detail, and, it may not show, but it is smooth. Even shows the little line where the original molds met. And the camera may be unfocusing it a bit.

No, the 10,000 ones are just chrome plated, like a spray paint. There are 5 solid gold 3POs that are going to be given via a contest.

It's the other way around. The attraction was made well over 10 years ago. The movie POTC was based off of the ride. The igniter, if you will.

I actually like the version where they are two forces. In other words, I like them both equally (though favorable to the Soldiers a bit more) I enjoy them both, alot. So, I say I can't vote in this thread.

Yes, I've actually talked to her before more than one account. Helped me out. One thing I failed to do when making the molds, was create air holes. So, this time I'll get an exacto and use it to make the air holes as well as a place to pour the silicon into.

I was first afraid of breaking any laws of copying Lego. First and most of all, I would certainly say that this is a custom made part and not an official Lego part. I am trying to go with this project I just need to get a good time to go to the store with the supplies (and that's if they still have it). But, I will try (even with trial and error) to replicate this part. The most concerning part of making this mold is the hat-to-minifig connection. I've had some trouble getting the resin to get fully into the little slit, but it doesn't seem to get through. I'll just have to try :-) .

Are you proposing to do plastic injection molds? Are another tactic?
