  1. Yes, but the TV series producers would have very little to work off of, plus they would have to try to stay true to what people think of the character while expanding them.
  2. Personally, I am not a big fan of taking video games to the big or small screen. I think that the fun of a video game is not the story, but the fact that you get to control a character and do things in the world that has been created. I do not think that the games have a strong enough story or character development to be turned into shows. The characters would be weak and have little depth to them, and games are not long enough to turn into a tv series.
  3. I don't know how much luck you will have. Most sets don't have prototype pictures that have been released.
  4. I think that age, sunlight, and smoke would/will contribute.
  5. Thanks, but like you said, there are a lot of reviews for this set already.
  6. I am not a big fan of the Lego games. The gameplay is too unstable for me. Oh, and DarthSion. I know you have been reminded before, but please try to CAPITALIZE words and create actual sentences, as oppose to just a string of words. Also, your "they really need to focus less on poor people and build for the ps3 and then port to xbox, or build on both, and stop wasting time on the weaker systems." was way out of line and uncalled for.
  7. That is what I hate about the CW and love about the OT. This CW line keeps giving us the same figures. The new OT sets, especially Endor, are giving us different and new figures.
  8. The game looks very detailed and all around exciting game. But, I am not a fan of Battlefront. I am not a fan of the idea of simply running around with a time limit and killing people. This game looks like it includes more of a mission-style play, which is what I like.
  9. He is a warrior. Yeah, the scouts are a nice, but I prefer the archer's and warriors. You can shoot while you move, which is nice.
  10. Yes. I just finished the Osgiliath level, and you get to play as him. All of the heroes are more powerful than regular soldiers. But, you cannot pick to play them any time. You get an option, and once you die as them, you cannot use them again.
  11. Overall, the CW sets aren't that appealing. I don't like how all they include are clones and droids. Not enough creativity.
  12. So, I just bought this game today at Target, and I can honestly say it is really fun. It was just released today, so if you have an old PC, it might not work. Mine is about 3-4 years old, and the game works great on medium settings for graphics. The game is made by Pandemics, the same group that made Battlefront. The gameplay is very similar in the sense that there are different classes and you spawn at reinforcement points. But, unlike BF, you do not need ammo, even if you play as an archer. You can also play as a Warrior, Scout, and Mage. You can also play at heroes in certain parts of each level. One nice feature is that each mission features certain objectives, as opposed to BF where you just went around killing people until the time was up. The good campaign pretty much follows the movies accept for two or three missions. The evil campaign however starts off with Frodo dying, and goes from there in a type of "what-if" story. I have only made it through half of the good campaign, but all in all it is a great game.
  13. I am not that excited about the CW sets, simply because I am not a CW fan. On the other hand, those OT sets are simply amazing. Echo Base is a nice army builder, and probably the closest we will ever get to a Hoth BP. Endor is beyond word. The amount of new figures in the set is amazing. I love how, unlike with other sets based off of events, they included everybody involved in the scene. Actually, strike that. Lt. "You Rebel Scum!" Renz is not included.
  14. I haven't either, but personally I would love it if it did. It would leave a lot more room for OT sets.
  15. Didn't even notice the "Confidential" written all over it. Too amazed by the sets. I am going to hold off final judgement on the Rebel troopers in the Endor set for now until we see better pictures, but if I had to comment I would say that their green is too much like the Kashykk trooper from a few years ago. I think and hope that I will be proven wrong though.
  16. Very economical. It is definitely different than the official Lego one. I would try looking for stickers or other bricks to add some detail, as well as maybe the ball turrets. It is a good start, but personally I think it needs a bit more pizzaz. Also, great forward command.
  17. This should probably go in Wargames and Mafia.
  18. So, my Chess set just came today, and the the box was bigger than I expected. First, let me say the box design is very creative and innovative. Second, the build took a lot longer than a thought. Still, it was well worth it. I was going to simply take the figures for my army, but I changed my mind and put them on the chess board. Overall, great set. Would I spend $200 on it again. No. But, I still really like it.
  19. WOW. Can we say amazing. I guess Lego feels guilty about being skimpy on OT sets in 2008, so they are making up for it with these amazing 2009 OT sets. Can we say AWESOME!!!!! Finally, Lego is getting back to more minifigs.
  20. Does anybody know how to add a second tower to the King's Castle Siege? I know I have seen it before, but I cannot seem to find it. SORRY. I DON'T NEED TO KNOW ANYMORE. FOUND THE OLD THREAD. THANKS ANYWAY. PLEASE CLOSE. SORRY.
  21. Lego needs to stick with Legos.
  22. I don't think that they should add a fantasy aspect to the Pirate line. It would detract from the overall aspects of the theme.
  23. This is an awesome set. The only thing that would have made it better would have been two Trolls.
