LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
legoboy12345678/David Hall replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Oh my gawd.... I figured out why some of the figures have stands and others don't. These photos are ether in the process of being photoshopped or are just old photos that haven't been updated yet. Those stands we see are how the photographer's of LEGO sets stand the minifigures in poses on the final images we see, then they get sent off to LEGO's Graphic department which photoshop them out. This is a first, there's never been "in the editing process" photos ever leaked before. I'm pretty sure LEGO will get mad at whoever got their hands on these photos! -

Looking forward to seeing whether these will look good or not on Saturday, the could be very bad, or pretty good, we shall see.... (from LEGO Star Wars Press Release) ""There'll be a number of new "Constraction Sets" for kids of all ages. First you'll see Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, both of them appearing this September, will be coming at $19.99 USD and up. More Constraction Figures will be appearing throughout the year. NOTE: Constraction (Construction + Action) figures have appeared for BIONICLE, Hero Factory, and in superhero sets in the past. This is the first time the theme has spread to Star Wars."" -

So based on the picture below, we know for fact that the first LEGO Star Wars 2015 Winter Wave will hit in January 2015 (likely January 1st to go beside the new Slave 1). With that in mind, for once, do you think it'll be like it was back in pre-2011 times were you could get the sets in early December at Toysrus and usually not marked up? Thoughts? Any Rumors on TRUS getting these sets early again or will time tell? -

Ok.. something isn't adding up.. I don't think Shadow Troopers 75079 is a Battle Pack.. could be.. but theres the thing, the Geonosis Trooper's number is 75089.. theres a 75090 on this... but NO 75087.. if Shadow is a battle pack, then that would it have been its number, every year for Star Wars Battle Packs since 2007, the packs numbers have always been along each other, so I think theres some sets missing from this list. I could be wrong though. For gawd sake, I hope that Geonosis Battle Pack has just plain white Clone Troopers in it, I don't want the Clone Wars camo ones (There cool, not army builders though)! AAT sounds nice, if it isn't an f-up like the 2014 MTT was. I hope that AT-DP or Transport Ship has the Inquisitor in it the set, he seems like a really cool character to be made into LEGO (especially his lighter saber hilt) -

If there not released on the 1st of January with everything else, then its gonna be the end of the month (and probably Toysrus is gonna get it two weeks eariler), this same thing happened in 2012, I wouldnt be surprised. But I'm 100% positive they'll be released before January 31st (if not on it) Also, my LEGO store manager told me the new sets would be arriving in early January (no specific date) -

Usually the way the next set of pictures that gets leaked are from european Toy Sites, anyone know the 3 most likely places they'll get leaked from as they've done in the past around this time? Also, 2014 Ninjago is showing up on Ebay, Usually those Mexican LEGO resellers get stuff 3-4 months before a set is released, this might be soon for 2014 Star Wars? -

Seriously, I'm dying to know what is included on the Utapau Battle Pack, I just wanna know the figures included, I really don't need images, I just need conformation of the figures, it's killing me! Anyone know the time-frame images or more leaks are coming (isn't is the beginning of October?) Best Battle Pack Ever: 2 Regular Clones, 1 212th Marked Clone, and 1 212th Airborne Trooper, that'd would make everyones day! I think a regular clone has a high chance of being in there since we know 100% that we'll have a new EP3 Regular Clone in the MicroFighter Clone Turbo Tank, so I'd think they'd stick him in a Battle Pack -

Did anyone notice that the number for the AT-AP is 75043... we stopped at 75025 with the Old Republic, Usual there's about 8 to 10 sets for the Winter wave, even if it was 10 sets, that would put us at 75035... and yet this set is 75043, it seems more of a Summer 2014 release rather then Winter. Thoughts? -

legoboy12345678/David Hall replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Ok, let me step on in here with some confirmed information directly from a LEGO employee. I asked the employee "So because of this set being from EP 3 does that mean your going to be mainly releasing EP 3 sets because of the "What was suppose to be" 3D release of the movie" He had this to say "the original plan was to compliment the 3D release of Star Wars Episode III. Obviously some things happened since then" So what does this mean? It mean's expect some small and large EP 3 sets! (EP3 Battle Packs? Speaking on battlepacks, I also was confirmed that the new 2014 Winter Battlepacks will be going back to the "old style" where for example one set would just have droids and the other just clones) This is all confirmed and legit information. -David -

Well, since the topic of Video Reviews was brought, I might as well come and clear some things up since I'm one of them. First of all, in the Video Review/LEGO YouTube Community, its usually about who can be the first to review the set, however thats not always the case. Its really a mini circle of the big reviewers (Me, BrickQueen, BrickShow, and other popular LEGO reviewers), between us we all have large fan bases and so theres a small competition of who can do the review first, that usually grabs more audiences. Video reviewing is usually done with the "make up as you go" kinda thing, but I've learned to not do that, I usually spend 30 minutes to and hour playing with the set and figuring out how it play with others, I'll also reaserch some facts about it, etc. The reason why video reviews are so long, and it least for me, popular, is because fans come back to me because they don't just wanna see what the set has to offer, but they come for my opinion on whether I think it's worth it and give backup reason's for that opinion. A lot of you "experienced" builders know that backup info so it get's a bored or something around it to you. It's a different community on YouTube, a lot of my fans and viewers don't know much about LEGO and they wanna make sure there not getting ripped and know exactly what to expect from the set, that's what I do. So next time you watch a video review, understand that were making it for a different audience, I try my best to get to the point and not draw things out, but some people just wanna hear that. -

I bring good and bad news... (or what could be bad news) First up, Yoda Chronicle Information: The Yoda Chronicles: LEGO Star Wars returns in epic style with THE YODA CHRONICLES, a thrilling, funny and action-packed new LEGO Star Wars story told in three animated TV specials! Set in the “Prequel” Star Wars timeline, THE YODA CHRONICLES stars the one and only Yoda—the Jedi Master who has seen it all, done it all, and taught generations of Jedi Knights—in an all-new adventure. With the help of a fresh class of Padawans, Yoda leads the Jedi in a desperate fight to stop Darth Sidious and his minions from creating a new super-weapon that could crush the Republic and win the war for the forces of Evil. Second, Clone Wars Season 6 Information: Cartoon Network has NOT renewed Clone Wars for a sixth, this could be a 50, 50 shot at two things: There canceling the show because of lack of views, or Cartoon Network will no longer be broadcasting the show, most likely, Season 6 is going to be Disney XD Nothing is set in stone, but what is confirmed is the Clone Wars will not be on Cartoon Network in 2014 Source for both sides of information: http://news.turner.c...article_id=6303 -

The original went for $150, had 1,300 pieces, and was released in 2000 (Had one figure) Again, $130 (from 99 euros) or somewhere around that might make sense for a UCS -

Going back on the Tank Droid not being in the movie, but just as a unfinished animatic whole deal... Did anyone think that maybe the 3D release could be putting all deleted and unfinished footage into this years film? LEGO is notified of these things 2 years ahead, thats 2 years Lucasfilm could have easily rendered that Tank Droid footage? Thoughts? -

Its from the Behind the Scenes on the AOTC DVD, thats an animatic, what animators present to Lucas and his supervisors, some made it to final, some didn't this is how most CGI heavy films work.
