Lego pieces you would love TLG to make
El Bucanero replied to LEGO Maniac JEM's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Better: Old-brown hull pieces, but broader! The old ones are actually way too thin, give me broader ones! *pirate* -
Welcome back!! *wub* We can't do without our pirate mother can we! Congratulations! :-)
-
It seems like a mouse just crossed you and you're the elefant Mr Phes! X-D Well, you apparantly don't like the colours, but what about the design?
-
That's inventive, nice find! Cool what you can do with those creator sets lately. The colour scheme makes me doubt wether this is meant to be an Age of Sail clipper or a modern days clipper though. But for the pieces he had it is nice. *y*

A 3 stud wide and 3 bricks high window frame with fitting window panes. Lattice would be cool! The normal 4 x 3 x 1 windows have a good size at most occasions, but a little bit smaller would benefit ship builders who want a realistic amount of windows at the stern. 6 windows in a row at the stern was not very extroardinary. But if you use the 4 wide windows, your stern gets rather broad: 24 studs, some ships aren't even that long. That's when you put them in a row, if you want cones or beams in between you'll get even more studs. Look at this, if you'd have 3 wide windows, you'd have a broadness of 18 studs. That's 6 less! That aside, I don't think this would only benefit ship builders. So please give us 3 wide and 3 high windows! *sweet* -
Building Challenge: MOC with only 100 pieces
El Bucanero replied to LuxorV's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Great contest idea Hinkie! *y* Here's a litte apetizer: exactly 25 pieces, not counting the minifig. Made on a fabuland body. I shall build something with more pieces later. I think it's gonna be some kind of boat. -
Very clever use of the tires! Especially the use of the tire on the 30lbs parrot is genius! The way you made the generic 12 lbs gun is also smart. Yes, very very clever! The 200lbs gun does look a bit futuristic to my taste though. Must be the tires.. Great!

While normal minifigs shall sink after a few moments of time, minifigs with a swimming vest thingy shall float (longer) :-D Convenient isn't it?
-
Look at that cannon! What an inventive sulotion! Very clever. *y* What did you use for the belt of the light cavalry? It looks like a a rubber band wich is about to break! :-P

Happy Birthday Vader and Keith! I hope you enjoyed your day!

Pirate Halloween Contest: Anouncement of Winners!

Huzzah! Congratulations lads! You all made great MOCs! *y* -
Signore Phred... Don Vito has asked you if you would want to lend your truck to him. If you refuse you mind find a horse in your bed tomorrow.. A part of it at least... ok, back to normal! Really Phred, this truck reminds me of the Godfather alot! Looks brilliant! According this fine truck I think you're very well capable of making fine oldtimers, any chance you'll be building some of those (soon)? That's an offer you can't refuse, isn't it? :-D

Are you saying you're parents tell you what MOCs to make? *wacko*

I see there are some gray bricks in the harbour, did you destroy it for the pieces?
-
Let's compare! Old version: New version: The new version does look a little bit shorter than the old one. Am I right?
-
In that case, great idea Woody64 and Phred! *y* Fair enough, but the problem is not everyone gives an explanation about the scenes aye? One could just ask the creator offcourse, but still.
-
Happy Birthday Jon Fett! Enjoy your day, and according to the comments above, please return soon (even though I don't really know you!)! :-D
-
Great idea Boney!!! *y* One thing though: Perhaps more members get inspired to build painting vigs because of this index, wich will add more content to the index, wich is good BUT isn't the current information you showed a bit too much What about only the name and refference to the thread? Or would that be a bit too little?
-
That's quite interesting! So if I'm not mistaking, LEGO made special versions of the Airport and airplane for Japan? Or?? I'm a bit confused now.. EDIT: Oh, sorry, just read the other topic :-$

My over-engineered LEGO Coaster.
El Bucanero replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
And again it seems LEGO can be used for everything you'd like!! When I read the thread title I thought you meant something like this: My bad X-D. -
We're not an advertising site are we? With all respect, but if you want to sell something else than LEGO wouldn't it be better if you try eBay? Just a suggestion. :-)

Areeeeeba!!! Superb!! Looks like it's gonna be a hotel! :-P How much would a suite cost per night?

I see a brilliant MOC with a big load of paprika! Wow! Must be the third MOC based on El Torre de Belem. The new colours look very good, a nice change from the other one. Lets hope the folder gets public soon, cause I want to see that new toilet! Flush on!
