  1. Thanks! It's a real honor to be on the frontpage of Classic-Pirates! Thanks. I've been working with different palm variations. I think they work out nice. Palm trees are all I have at the moment, and there has to be trees! It just isn't the same without them.
  2. [pid][/pid]196D Hello everybody! It's been a while since I posted here, so I figured I'd share my latest creation. I have always been fascinated the Maya civilization. I decided to base this one on one of the greatest may cities of all, Palenque. I based my MOC off of these pics: Thanks for looking! C & C welcome

  7. As far as lubrication goes, I use dielectric grease. It's mineral oil based and very light, and it says it is safe for plastic parts. It worked wonders on my EN. I have not tried it on my Maresk yet. I also stick to the "a little dab will do ya" motto. As to using olive oil, I would not use it. Olive oil will degrade over time leaving a nasty sticky residue, due to it's organic properties. I hope this helps. Capt. Stabbin

  12. Hello Everybody. I've decided to share with you, what I have been working on the last couple months. Since I have dived head over heels for LEGO trains, I decided to start my own city for my trains to travel around. I have decided to base most of my buildings on the city of Falmouth Jamaica, and a couple from Charleston South Carolina. The earlier being the greatest concentration of colonial Carribean Georgian architecture in the Caribbean. So therefore, my city is located on a small island in the Caribbean. My city will always be a work in progress, as you can tell. It will be pieced together whenever I have the means and pieces to do so. Just like real cities, Garden Grove will continously be evolving and changing. It's a slow process though, having to wait until I can afford pieces and so on. So here is the begining of my never ending project. I love this hobby! Overview The main street Small Houses Thanks for checking out my town. C & C welcome and appreciated. Thanks, Captstabbin
