  1. Like Brickthing, I'm not really a big Pirate poster, but I had to comment on this. I simply love it. I love old architecture, and I really enjoyed viewing this. I like the use of the wrenches, and the rock effect is gorgeous. I love your dock, it's really well-made. This really does deserve to be blogged, well done.
  2. I just finished building this, which I got for Christmas, and I loved it . This was my first dabble into full sized creator sets, and I was pleasantly surprised! It was a great build, and it looked really good at completion. I'd highly recommend it!
  3. Thanks for the kind comments! It's a little too late, I suppose. Oh well, I'm happy with it. I wasn't really trying for any specific Stormie, I just pulled a random number out of my head. It's cool how I got so close, though! Thanks! I was putting up the nativity scene (Like I do every year), and I decided to take a break and come on EB. I saw this contest, and figured 'Hey, I like photography, I'll think of what to enter'. I then returned to placing those wise men, and I thought 'Hey! Here's an idea!'... I like yours, too! There are a lot of good ones so far. Lots of good competition.
  4. That's fine, Jammie. Take as long as you need, I'm excited regardless! Good luck in your studies, by the way.
  5. They're both nice, but the edges are too... Hard. They're too straight to be an article of clothing actually being worn. If you're using MS paint, I'd suggest using the 'curved line' tool to make these lines not as perfectly straight.
  6. Yes, this banner is perfect. Keep it! It'd also do well as the Licensed Forum's banner after Potter month is over... (Hint hint )
  7. Thanks, I'm sorry if the whole ''drunken firefighter'' bit wasn't what you had in mind for my character .
  8. Yes, I think we need to go to the department store. We'll go to the firestation after?
  9. I'd like to suggest going to the fire station.
  10. It's star wars-ified. Hence the 'Emperor'.
  11. Hey, TK-427, come meet our new Emperor! For those not familiar, this is the nativity scene, albeit with someone who doesn't belong! Edit: Can an admin change the title to 'X-Mas photography contest entry'? I got a little confused while posting this.
  12. So Hinckley is the mastermind behind all these wonderful banners? Thanks, Mr. Admin sir! Keep 'em coming!
  13. Perhaps my wording was bad; I didn't mean that I couldn't do anything. I was simply trying to say that I was a rather weak character at night. Sorry for the confusion.
  14. Wow... Thanks for the Grade A hosting! You're truly doing excellent, despite of the weather. I wish you a safe trip home, and no more canceled flights.
  15. Ah, I remember your Pokemon. They were excellent. I thought it was really cool how you made Lego compatible Pokemon from sculpy alone. I also loved your Harry Potter figures. My craving for sculpy creatures was sated by Nagini, and you made a beautiful Xenophilius. Mr. Lovegood was one of my favorite characters in the book, and I thought he was well represented here. And your Aladdin updates. Gorgeous. I think the greatest improvement is Jasmine. You can really tell how far you've come! These are only my favorites, but I admire the rest of 'em as well. Keep it up!
  16. I also missed this one. Better late than never! Great Titanic. It's simply beautiful. Instantly recognizable, and full of little details. Surprisingly detailed, in fact, due to it's scale. I love the smokestacks.
  17. Wow, great banner! The Forbidden Forrest looks great here.
  18. All right, my turn with the Role PM; I had no night actions, which made me a rather weak character. Nevertheless, I somehow lasted for quite a while... And to those who thought I was lying about being blocked that one night: It was a fun game, congratulations to the winners.
  19. Last night, I went to a double feature with my family for Christmas. My uncle and I saw Tron, and it was amazing. I loved the story, and the games scenes were epic. The effects were pretty good. Then we saw HP7 (I for the second time), and it was as good as ever. One of my favorite movies.
  20. I've traveled all the way to the Savannah, Georgia Lego store for some cheap sets before. That's about a Day's drive from here.
  21. First reserve isn't bad, thanks for the opportunity, def. This is going to be a fun one to watch !
  22. So, now that we found all this money, what are we going to do with it? If we don't do something with it now, I'm pretty sure that it'll be gone by tomorrow, stolen by the Commies. Maybe we should keep a guard or two here?
  23. Good, now I can see what led to all this insanity... It was a fun game, and a good Introduction to proper Mafia games.
  24. I've had a good Lego Christmas, if I do say so myself. - Freeing Dobby (x2!) - Quidditch Match - Hogwarts Board Game - Creator Speedster set - Rebel Hoth BP - Corroder Good haul, for me at least.
  25. I disagree. I think that a Colosseum is fully possible with the Architecture line. Sure, it may be a current-day rendition, but it would be a Colosseum nevertheless.
