  1. It would seem as if Hinckley made a visit and changed something...

  2. Nice video! This reminds me strongly of TLG's own commercials, where they assemble the product. I'm with prateek, this video may have changed my mind about this set. Thanks!
  3. This looks a lot better! I love the two-tone roof, that was a great color choice. Nice job breaking up the monotone paint job as well! I'm very glad you took our advice, this stands a much better chance in the contest now. Keep up the good work!
  4. This snow storm ain't got nothin' on the ice storm we had in the beginning of '09 in Arkansas. We had no power for two weeks, there was about an inch of ice on everything, and schools were closed for three weeks. The temperatures stayed at a steady -5 to about 15 for four weeks. Crazy, like nothing Arkansas had ever seen before. Not that I feel for you folks a little north of us, with all your devastating snow. EDIT: *Gasp*! I almost forgot your birthday! Forgive me... Happy Birthday!
  5. I've really been getting into My Chemical Romance lately. Here's a fan made video of their song "DEAD!" that I thought was the official music video... Not for the easily squeamish, it has a bit of blood in it.
  6. Well, no matter what the name of the topic, these are pretty sweet! I love the walker.... Nice crotch... Gun. The scarab looks mighty fine, too! Those legs may be fragile, but it gives it kind of a swift and agile vibe to me. Well done!
  7. Who are you and why are you looking at my profile? Fess up!

  8. Mmmm... That's a mighty fine engine block... The rest is great, too! I love the fuel tank strapped to the back, and the color scheme is very nice... My expertise on Hot Rods is limited, but is it supposed to only seat one?
  9. Hey, you're alive! Glad to have you back.

  10. I think I know what Hinckley's getting at. It's a good idea, and will be beneficial for all.
  11. Yes, I laughed for as long as I spent writing this. Good one!
  12. Oh, suck it up. This is part of the fun! If you can't handle the heat, then get out of the kitchen.
  13. Well, I suppose that crying about it isn't going to help much, is it? My advice to you is to just keep signing up. You'll get in eventually.
  14. I think that Hinckley's been messing with the word filter . I was trying to prove a point in the "Bigshot Front Page Thingamajig" thread, and mentioned Jimbee's game... Let me test it here... JimButcher's slut Mafia. Yup. Good one, Hink!
  15. Okay, here I come as a mediator. This does happen sometimes. I understand though, the fellow just wants to have a fun and successful game. You (the limited experience mafia hopeful) have to wait for mafia games like Shadows' Blowout theme month games, or Zepher's Eurodina with a giant player number. I know I still don't have too much experience in Mafia games, but I have three Mafias under my belt and half a mystery. I've won one, Shadows' VotBD. Now, hosts are more likely to have me in their games. I was first reserve in def's asylum, and I was damn near subbed in a few times. I'm second reserve in JimButcher's slut Mafia now. I'm pretty sure I'll make it into the next one. So you've just got to keep trying to get in. Don't always expect to get in. EDIT: Pay no attention to Jimbee's "Slut" mafia, I'm sure that's Hinckley playing with the word filter.
  16. Oh yeah? Well I know who's getting last place! (Me) Seriously though, I don't stand a chance. Great entries all around!
  17. Looking great, Jimbee! That earth orange cobblestone wall is stunning. I like the technique you used for the desk; very nice and efficient. I like the fact that it opens up, it reminds me somewhat of a dollhouse. You don't hear this often from me, but that gaping and potentially structurally-weakening hole on the first floor looks fantastic! The interior is lovely. This is definitely a contender, and has one of my three votes.
  18. Those are absolutely wicked! Entries out of that category are going to be quite interesting... Great contest! I'll definitely enter A.
  19. Ah, I was wondering about this. You didn't seem like much of a retard to me until I read this!
  20. I like it, but it's just so very bland. I like the fact that it opens up and has a nice interior, but it looks like a filler building in a City. Especially the back wall. Two windows and a monotone paint job? Yawn. This is Harry Potter, one of the most colorful and eccentric franchises in the world! Make it colorful, make it somewhat odd! I do see that you tried on the storefront, and it looks very nice. But a plain Jane read roof? On a quidditch shop? Decent effort, but I'd like to see this with more colors and details.
  21. Stevie! Ted! Don't you know how rude it is to just walk into someone's house and eat their food? We're here to investigate. Have some class. I'd like to search under any rugs and on all the doorframes for anything suspicious or dangerous.
  22. Wait, I see a flaw in this. You couldn't really grade a MOC, could you? A review is easy to grade, mainly because the teachers are looking for a specific thing that they know needs adjusting. How would they know what to look for in a MOC? Different teachers would be looking for different things in a MOC. A review, while maybe varying slightly from reviewer to reviewer, is pretty much universalized. I'm sorry, but I don't think a MOCer's Academy would work.
  23. Sorry for being gone lately; I've been sick and bedridden for a few days. This is the first time I've been well enough to get on a computer. I'll try to be on a little more now that I'm on the mend.
  24. I'd love to play. I've got the mafia bug! Sign me up!
  25. Oh my God! What is this town coming to? I'd like to help comfort the lifeguard however I can.
