  1. Yesterday, I came to grips with a simple fact. I was in a MOCing funk. I hadn't made anything in months! I felt... Dirty. As I was thinking this, I was watching some zombie movies. My next thought was... Zombie Safe House! *SMACK*. Inspiration. So, here it is, my... Zombie Safe House Here's the whole thing. Yes, it's only half a house. I was reaching back to some classic town roots, making the back open for easy access. I'll be getting to the details now. Outer Details BOOM! Headshot. A few police officers venture out to gather supplies and food. I sincerely apologize for the bright picture, but light colors hate me, and I'm too lazy too tired to fix it tonight. That coast guard zombie is about to have a horrible headache... Inner Details The armory, where the civilians are choosing their weapons. Please note that the ceilings don't normally come off, but I needed them to to have enough light here. Moving right along, here we are at the second floor. This is the living floor. Here, the police that didn't go to find food and supplies formulate the long-term strategy, including rescue. Note that the first floor is empty. I meant it that way. In theory, if the zombies break in, the people who reside in this house will hear them before the zombies can eat them, giving them time to prepare. Minifigures This project had a cast of 9 minifigures. I like to name my minifigures, so here goes... Left to right: Damian Marks, Veronica Marks, Chief Chirpa, Officer O'Hare, Officer Trout, Officer Johnson, Officer Sysco, Bob Checkovski, and Dylan Brown. For more pictures, please check out the set on Flickr! Thanks for viewing!

Not much, eh? What's with the odd "eh"s, eh?

Wow, can't believe you don't have a comment on here yet. So... Hi there fellow teacher!

  4. Sorry about suspecting you in RSM, but I suspected it was someone in the Jefferson Household. I narrowed it down to you and Delores, but I suppose I just chose wrong. :P

  5. Wow, this game is out? I never would've known without EB. This has probably been the least-hyped Lego game I've ever seen. Not even a commercial!
  6. Hello old friend! It's been a while since I've spoken with you, so I decided to remedy that. :)

  7. Thanks for the fun and entertaining game, Bob! I had a lot of fun fleshing out my character, and it was fun to react to my Wife's death. I can't wait to sign up for your next mystery! Here's the Role PM: But later, I got this PM, giving me the night action of killing; I was very impressed with the narrative, it was a lot nicer than just sending me a PM saying I could kill. Thanks for the praise! I hoped I lived up to your expectations of this Character. Ralph has been a part of me for half a year, it's going to be odd to not come on after my day is over and play him! Thank you for the closure of me putting flowers on my wife's grave, it was very satisfying. Great and fun game, I'd play it again in a heartbeat!
  8. Rufus! Congratulations! Don't get too busy to visit us in the teacher's lounge. :)

  9. Can't wait for the conclusion, even though I probably didn't win! It's been a great game!
  10. I told you it wouldn't be long until your name was in bold! Congrats!

  11. I'd like to whip it out (my gun, that is ), and shoot Investigator Liebenson in the face, because they forgot to take my gun.
  12. Agh, I knew the "Investigator" was a commie. I should've said he was in the question thingy. Damn! I wish he had died when I targeted him. And Delores! I had targeted her too! I targeted two commies?! Figures.
  13. Definitely! It's a great book series.

  14. That means close to nothing. I didn't attempt to kill anyone last night, and you're very far down on my suspect list.
  15. I'm definitely interested in playing this. 1. Will you be traveling between now and June 15th? -Yes, June 4th-11th, but I will have internet the whole time that I'm away from home. 2. Have you played a mafia game before? -One; Eurodina. 3. What is your favorite animal (Fabuland figure or otherwise)? -Don't really know much about Fabuland (hoping to remedy that soon), but my favorite animal is probably the Elephant.
  16. Woah there Alan; this could be a trap. Stanley had the Congressman on his leash, remember? I don't think we've gotten rid of all the communists, either.
  17. HUGE tornado ripped through Birmingham, Alabama. Destroyed hundreds if not thousands of homes and businesses, and killed 179 people.
  18. Glad to see another Warriors fan here!

  19. There was a tornado about ten minutes ago a mere fifteen miles South in Jonesboro. High wind warning here at home, so I'm camping out in the hall.
  20. Torrential rain here. 8 inches at my house total. High speed winds, there're a few trees snapped. The levee on the Dan River broke, leaving my grandmother's house ruined. She's staying with some other relatives. The whole Baxter County area is underwater, basically. There have been quite a few drowning deaths. My Uncle, who lives in the area that was devastated by the tornado yesterday; his house is destroyed. He's staying at his mother-in-law's house. No one bunking at my house yet, but it's almost to that point. Just a horrible situation all around. Can't wait for the break Thursday and Friday! Be safe, SFOL's. (Southern Fans of Lego)
  21. Yeah, 5 inches sounds about right. My relatives in the bootheel of Missouri got almost a foot of rain; the flooding in Poplar Bluff is tremendous! My grandmother was pushed out of her house when the levee broke... We expect her house to either have major flooding, or be washed away.
  22. Yep. I live in the Northeastern part of Arkansas, and we're getting that storm that produced the tornado in central Arkansas. No rotation now, just some hail, rain, thunder, and lightening. I'll be sure to keep all of my fellow Arkansan Afols in my prayers, along with the Texans.
  23. I think that the commie killer is Captain Garrison. All the evidence points toward him. I'm sure as Hell no communist, so... Vote: Captain Garrison/Lord Arjay
  24. Mm... This review makes me yearn for this set... Great review when it was in the academy, and it's a great review now. I'm honored to be the one to give it the final pass. Great job, you're truly Gold Standard.
  25. Well, that was fun. I'd like to know the ship's heading, and where we think we're going.
