Hey the empire was probably on a budget and colourful paint was an expense that they just couldnt afford :-D ;)

I like most of the sets but i have to say that they do look a little colourful to me.

I do believe it will look the same only without the light up feature

Hey can anyone tell me what the name of the piece that the battle droid arms are attached to are called?? Ive been looking for them on bricklink but cant seem to find them, are they new??

It seems like most of the droid army fighter/tanks will now be sand blue, but it clashes with the tan/sand battle driods.

Could be but i suspect its at the end of his duel with palpatine

What gets me is that there trying to put these light up figs in as a way to encourage us to buy the sets, but IMO the sets would look just as great without them. A set that is put together well will allways sell and it dosent need these figs, you know weve had 3 different anakins and yet its taken lego nearly 6yrs to give us a mace windu. >:(

Wheres the super battle droid???

Well i gotta say that this was an easy ship to build and id advise anyone to have a go at building there own, ill probably buy a spare new jedi starfighter cockpit from bricklink and replace the one i have in the pics.

Let the army building commence :-D

Cheaper sets are allways a good thing IMO :-D After looking at all these sets im very pleased with all the new figs (even though we still havent got a kit fisto :'( ) i just hope that they change the legs on grevious. Ill probably buy most of the sets apart from the Ultimate duel which to me just dosent look good, but never mind with the money i save from that set it means i can get a few more clonewalkers :-D

Well as the site was down i found i had enough free time to build a jedi starfighter, i decided to make one thats roughly the same colour as obi wans. Any suggestions are as allways welcome :) Some better pics
