Yeah i agree it was worrying when the license was about to expire thank goodness lego renewed it, Now they have the chance to give us some of the lesser known ships etc.

Dont worry Ras this thread is far from over, as for re-designs well yes i guess they are new and like i said i like them but it was a frustrating time for those of us that wanted sets of vehicles, locations etc. What i really like about the 07 line up is that its a mixture of new sets and re-designs and not just one or the other.

Opps got the year wrong it was 04 not 03 :-$ And before anyone says but we had a new falcon, xwing etc i know its just that those are redesigns and myself and many others loved theses but we were als extremley disapointed in the lack of new sets. Oh and Cap you are correct in what youve said about the over and out though i think we get what Ras means. :-)

Very true Ras....... very true. X-D I have to say that ive only ever been fed up with SW and that was back in 03 (i think :-/ ) when all we had was 1 crappy new set the cantina. Man that was a bad year and i like others was extremley frustrated with the lack of new sets, since then lego seems to of pulled their fingers out and my faith in them has grown slightly.

Well with lego its never gonna be spot on, but it is alot better than the old one and hey as its lego we can change this sort of thing. The fig is the best part about this set in my eyes too.

Ep 2 sets weak?? I gotta disagree with you on that one, for me the first sets released from ep 2 were some of the best. We got great sets like the Republic Gunship, Jangos Slave 1 and the Bounty Hunter Pursuit and i strongly believe that we were really lucky to have them all at once. That said i agree with you on the ep1 sets but it should be remembered that lego were just starting out with the SW license at the time. If they did new versions of the ep1 sets im sure they would be alot better than the ones we had, as for the y-wing well that was one of the better ships from the first batch though the new version sure outshines it.

Well im not a great lover of the AT-ST but its a much better version than the first and the driver sure looks good.
