Hmmmmmm it is a toughie, this thread does seem to of decended into a 'we say you say'. Ok lets look at what we have here, the rebels operated in hit and run tactics hiding and striking throughout the times. Whilst the empire hunted them, the empire is known to just about do what they wanted in order to capture the rebels. What ive tried to do over the last few posts is to have a story develop, at the moment our forces have found a rebel stronghold and are attacking. This scenario could then be played out, obviously none of you would of been destroyed but like in the past some could be captured (So rebels were even brought before me and thrown in our jails, only to be rescued by other rebels) whilst others escaped. The problem is that with everyone just trying to say that no rebels are their it really makes the whole thing pointless. My suggestion is that we continue the story but how about you engage in the battle, think of this story like the battle of hoth where the rebels defended there ground and think of ways to escape and take down some of our ships etc. Losses on both sides should occur, look at the gungan grevious :-P hes started his own little story thats interweaved with ours. We need to get this back on track like it once was. So what do you all think?

Ahhh nut the Death Star was around for a long time and at this point i havent fired the weapon, well not for a long time :-P Saying that you are correct that it wasnt able to fire a laser capable of destroying a planet, but whos to say it wasnt able to fire a weapon capable of scorching a planets surface.... ;-)
