Judging by past lego aliens/figs i would be very surprised if the arms on the aliens were not able to be moved, ive said it before and ill say it again these are prelim pics and could change.

Never used it SW4J so i couldnt say mate. Ghoul it appears you are right about the hand so thats being changed as i type along with the hat.

Well the yellow is there because i based it on the toy replica that i first found a pic of, i shall recolour the final version though it does mean it shows up better in these dark pics. Not sure about the hand either, when i get time ill have alook at the film to be sure. As for clay thats a secret i shall never tell............. Actully i use milliput its great for molding and drys rock hard so its very difficult to break.

Ok well as i see others have been posting their davey jones figs i thought it time i shared mine with you so here goes: Ok heres a first shot of the fig, as you can see the headpiece is slotted over a figs head. This is then topped off with a custom hat, usually i would smooth a custom hat out but as hes from the ocean depths i left it rough to give it that ocean feel. Here we have a simple side view of the fig this gives you a better look at his crab hand, im not to happy with the hand so ill have to change that......... Though this hand did give me an idea how to make custom hand for a SB Mr Krabbs. Now here you can see the other side of the fig and its tentecal (not sure ive spelt that right lol) hand, you can also see its new leg. And lastly heres a slighty closer view from the top of the fig, this shows a closer look also at his eyes which is a face decal. The colours still off so ill have to change that to look closer to the paint finish. So thats it for now, ill take some better pics in a few days one of the back to show the squid body also. Ive sculpted a few of his crewmen so ill post them to. So any comments suggestions on how to improve it?

The city sets really stand out for me in this years first wave of set, these alone are must haves. The castle line is getting better all the time with the more i see, its gonna take some getting used to seeing those new arms on the skeletons though.

Wow gotta love that new kit fisto head though it dosent look to legoish to me, the hyper ring looks ok but not the greatest. And the new arm pieces for the skeletons looks alot better as does the new face print.

Ok lets be clear on this, the AWing no longer appears to be available in europe and it says sold out in the US. This dosent mean its discontinued just yet but all signs appear to be that way, only time will tell what the fate of the awing will be.

OOC: Thanks mutley, youve been a great help for along time now with the rebels. So anyone want to take up the fight? Orginise the rebels and give the Empire a real hard time?

OOC: Ok Grevious heres the deal, i did this to show how annoying it is when you just do what you like. And thats something youve been doing since the start, it get very tiring when all you seem to do is jump in say something like 'ive blown up 3 ties and now im gone'. Everytime we try to engage you in some sort of contact thats it your just gone. Look at the story lines were trying to do, in fact look at Imperialscouts story hes here trying to put something together yet you dont seem to help him, instead its the jump in jump out routine. Now look at the way SW4J,The Kid, GM Yoda and myself interact, we have different storys going on all the time. Its fine to destroy our ships etc but do so in a constructive manner, build a story around it. What would be great is if one of you would take control of the rebels and issue commands like i have to do, this way you would have a chain of command people to interact with and thus we would have a much better story line. And Grevious if you want to sit out thats fine, but remember theres nothing to stop you from escaping. Heck many rebels have escaped in the past, just be creative and engage in a story line. Just to be clear nothing would make me happier than to see you guys giving us a real run for our money. If you do decide to establish a chain of command then feel free to do so in this topic. Also if any of you have had enough then thank you for posting, you will be missed.

Indeed it is, but quite a few of the new members registered were by the same person. GregF/Evilandy/Hello etc had 6 accounts, Legolad911 had 4, so even though alot of accounts have gone only a few people have been chambered. On the plus side 2 were released and are back with us :-)

I was wondering who yodas parents were X-D :-P ;-) This explains alot X-D Thanks for all the praise guys, but you all deserve some too. Without you all we wouldnt have such a great community spirit.

You painting lego X-O X-D :-P ;-) Ok well i use paint from a place over here called the Games Workshop, they can be found online, there paints are very good and come in a great selection though they are abit pricey. Ive used them on quite a few items from custom figs to painting standered bricks, this works well but if you want to make the paint stick out more and seem more lego(ish) then i would suggest using a gloss afterwards. I use a small paint brush and small amounts of paint at a time, but make sure you select a good brush because there nothing worse than a brush that loses its hairs halfway through painting. I know others use spray and there seems to be some good results but i cant tell you the plus side/down side as i havent. The paints also depend on what your painting i.e if your painting a fig would you be painting the joints? if so your gonna need a good paint to prevent chipping when moving. You can view some of the items ive painted in my BS folder, that might give you an idea on how the paints come out. Also head over to redbeans Custom Minifig Network as redbeans got a superb review on how to paint, sculpt, mold etc. Hope this helps.
