Harsh but fair to me mate, the figs/dewback/speeder were good but the actual cantina itself was a waste of time and the price was a joke also. I too get very angry when lego gives us superb sets one second and then crap ones the next >:-( , you just never know with lego what you will get next :-/ New pimped Cloud Car???? Good gawd man your gonna want the whole SW universe pimped soon :-P X-D

For me the cantina is one of the worst sets ever made, the set just screamed done in a hurry and as it was the only one released at the end of the year which just made matters even worse. As for jabbas palace again that was poor, sure it had good playability but it was nothing like the jabbas palace seen in the films and the whole thing falls apart when touched. If lego ever do another version then they should go for something alot bigger and include a rancor at least.

I would be very surprised if you did get a reply from lego on that one Hobbes, legos pricing is beyond a joke at times. We here in the UK have been getting ripped off for years, a quick look at the kids example shows you all you need to know. >:-( I believe *yoda* did a chart compairing the difference in prices so perhaps he can show everyone how bad it really is.

Its a custom face, i made it for an evil SW character but it didnt work so i changed the colours and found that it worked really well. When i made the head piece i made it alittle to big so buy adding the decal face it makes it a far better fit.

Yes i could i guess, im currently working on a large moc that could be used for pirates also so i may have something to show soon. As for customs i would happily do some custom work, ive just about done all the SW figs i can so pirates would be a welcome change. If anyone has any designs that they would like to see in fig form then let me know and ill see what i can come up with.

Well SW took over and got me back from a dark age, unfortunatley during that dark age i sold all my ships etc. I still have the odd fig and a few bits of pirate stuff but nothing whole, saying that i recently bought a very large box of lego at a car boot sell which does have some pirate stuff in it like a boat base, bits of walls etc. Ill have to see what else the box holds, you never know their might be enough to build a whole ship.

You know pirates hold a very special place in my heart as it was first line i ever collected as a teenager, i had always had lego sets but the pirates were special and i made sure to buy all of the first line. Anyway thanks for the pic and as i said i do agree regarding the colour but not sure when ill change it, however i have changed the hat, claw and tentical hand so ill post pics later if i have time.

It seems he then boarded his Tie and went to Vile......... The transmission informing me of this was lost when those rebel dogs took out our comunications system.......... As the planet Vile is only par sec away from here i have dispatched 3 squads to look for him......... Proceed to Vile Admiral........... The Kid may be in serious danger............ Now i have to see whats going on with the shuttle that we captured.............. Keep me informed Admiral..... *vader*

Your right it is too colourful, the claw hand and stump leg really need shading down. But im not sure about the green though as most pics seem to very, but its something i will probably get round to changing. As for Maccus hes a fig that needs alot of work, i threw him together really quickly at boy does it show. Oh and Phes you know i thought the very same thing when i posted in here :-D

Oh ive looked at that all right and i see someone making a joke, thats why theyve used the smileys that they have. If you felt that the comments were taking the micky out of you then you could of said so in a more mature manner, instead you struck back in a way that wasnt called for. I never said ban either so your really jumping the gun their, but your attitude wont be tolerated. So ill ask you to please get back on topic and try not to be so aggressive towards others when its uncalled for and if you feel in future that someone is having a go at you then try telling them so in a better way.

Firstly i dont see how they were laughing at the way you post, you offered your views and they responded with theirs. As this didnt sit well with you youve gone and told people to shut up in an aggresive manner, their was no need to be aggresive you could of merley said ok thats your view and moved on. Secondly i expect your not the only one who would like to see more f1 on the news, i for one like f1 and enjoy seeing it. Ill wager that theirs millions of people out their that wish to see more of their favorite sport on telly no matter what it is, So instead of moaning on here why not try doing something productive and send an email to the news channels. And finally regarding your 'Deal with it comment', this is pure attitude and that wont stand here so im warning you for the last time. Cut the attitude or i will deal with you in a way you really wont like.

Errr Norrington thats actually my custom and it is posted in our moc section :-D Im glad you like it i worked quite abit on the first one in the link above several months ago when i first saw shot of the figures that were being released (thats why the 2 are different slightly). Then around a month or so ago i actually got around to watching the film so went back and changed a few bits before posting, since then though ive noticed some superb versions on BS and even here. There is a third version of this fig but ive yet to post it....and knowing how slow i am at picture taking it wont be for awhile X-D .

Wow..... Now this is a thread thats really gone off the rails........ Now i have to say i dont in any way think that the two sports can be compaired, there worlds apart so its kinda of a pointless disscussion. If you wish to compaire sports then why not try to match them up like: Whats tougher Rugby or American Football? Who need to be physically fitter a footballer or a tennis player? Whats harder F1 or Nascar? etc. Now then Optimax X i have to say i find your attitude to be really out of line, as others have stated theirs no need to get angry if others dont feel the same as you. Telling anyone to shut up in the manner you did will not bode well for your future on that i promise so please dont do it. Youve stated that f1 drivers dont get enough exsposure on tv, well thats becasue our national sport is football and thats not going to change anytime soon. Its the most popular sport in this country and the world, now this is a fact and if you dont believe me i suggest you go look it up before attacking. Oh and for the record Football is Football not soccer, american football should of been called something different as its more like rugby than football.
