Both me and Allanp have made pneumatic switches for power funtions, mine need a wee bit more done to them but it is possible to do it it all depends on how much room there is to fit switches in to it. I am sure you will get most of the small 30 euro and below sets on it,it will take the small digger and the small forklift, amazon uk have both got this model and the bucket truck listed for 40-72 uk pounds and thay will be both available on the 1 August, heres a link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004OT6PR0/ref=s9_simh_gw_p21_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=039PVH9WN97R03B57S5H&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=467128533&pf_rd_i=468294 http://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-Technic-Bucket-Truck-Toy/dp/B004OT4WJ8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1305728759&sr=8-1
  11. Just a quick thought given how rare these motors are now are people able to sell them for spares or are they finished the minute thay stop turning (off course you could try would david said above ,one would imagine some one like allan or how ever would want to try to make them come to life again,i binned one of those rectangle motors as it was missing the front black axle hole piece. Now pneumatics it is easy to fix a dud rod with a new one as they are tons of them around compared to micro motors . Stay tuned Allan if you see this their is something just for you coming soon , i know you will love it.
  12. Looks good but i can see am going to have to get a pair of sunglasses as it is going to be bright orange.

  14. Well after seeing a notification that david had uploaded new stuff to his moc-pages page i just had to post it.
  15. On his moc pages page david has created two differant sizes of Lego Polyhedrons one Truncated Icosahedron and one Dodecahedron He wrote : I was inspired by the Lego DODECAHEDRON made by Aanchir using Lego Digital Designer (LDD). Hero Factory parts can be clipped together to form sphere-like objects called POLYHEDRONS. With REAL Lego pieces, I made my own Dodecahedron (which has 12 ea. Pentagons connected together). The small, black-and-red Dodecahedron measures 6 inches (15 cm) in diameter. The larger black-and-orange polyhedron is called a TRUNCATED ICOSAHEDRON which has 12 ea. Pentagons and 20 ea. Hexagons connected together. It measures 10.5 inches (27 cm) in diameter. some man named jason made some cad files of different sizes and shapes here is a link: jason

  17. if i heard you right you want to link the trailer wheels and the truck wheels together?,you can do this by useing a receiver setup like like on of these : (sharing the same receiver) steering of truck (1) red trailer (1) red or (separate receivers) steering of truck (1) blue trailer (1) red i hope you can under stand all right
  18. Ah well my harvester uses two of them but the way i did it is not to have the micro moter direct to the shft.I used gears to link to the moter this stoping the popping off.
  19. Saw that on youtube yesterday yet another good lego digger,i look forward to biulding one my self.
  20. Welcome to the forum. Your supercar looks good, however it does look a wee bit to big(out of scale).
  21. Any chance of a video? It looks good.
  22. I have finished the base which has the tilt mechanism,i hope to have the arm finished before the end of the week. The to tracks are diven by worm gears which are then geared down just at the track sprockets,i hope to have the slew mechanism finished by the middle of the week. I could of had the track drives going through the turntable, but i did it this way as it was easy to do and also it adds a wee bit of weight to the base. Comments welcome!!
