Review: 9465 The Zombies
-obelix- replied to The Penguin's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Very nice, funny and, as said before, a review that is a joy to read! Thanks Penguin! -
Thalion stood there, in a Hall, dazed as only a newcomer can be. All the different heroes, the loud talking, the drinking, all that was new to him. When suddenly, he noticed the quest board. Slowly, almost frightened, he walked up to it and started looking... "Well, if I want to become Arcane Master, I have to start somewhere; and helping a lady in need seems to be a great first step!", he thought to himself. And so he decided! Thalion signs up for Quest #44: My Best Friend.

Every good adventurer knows that preparations are esential... So Lanae walked to Gnomeo's Toolshed... "May I purchase a bedroll please!?" "NO! Nyehnyeh... Yes! 5 gold elfy!" Smiled a gnome wickedly, while reaching for a bedroll. Lanae pulled 5 gold from his pouch and purchased a bedroll. 10 - 5 = 5 gold left.

Having just recently graduated from guild of Mages, proving a finest Mage of the elements in his class, in a small elven settlement in the forest, young mage Lanae Dwinlas (young by elvish standards at least...) came to Hall of Heroica seeking to fulfill trials (a feat accomplished only by questing) that will grant him a title of a Arcane Master among his people! "Greetings fellow adventurers! My name is Thalion Dwinlas, a mage from Grisalirr, and I wish to prove my worth! I will gladly help, in any way I can, the good people here! Is there anyone willing to admit a young mage into their adventuring company?"

A great idea on itself topped off with superb realization for one of the great games of the modern time (old school gamer here ;) )... It received my vote on Cuusoo so, naturally, I would gladly buy it, and recommend it to other Portal fans; even non-Lego fans! Congratulations!

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
-obelix- replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
Great joy for Pirate fans! (myself included!) Smaller sets are a definite must have, but I cant say the same for the larger ones. As Jammiedodger714 said, larger sets could use a few more minifigures... -
Absolutely, jaw-droppingly amazing! Definitely the best LDD castle I've seen. I agree with prateek, the sheer size of it is a story for itself! Keep up this great work!
