I've got a question about the hinge tool. When I make a model that includes mechanisms, I often check if it works with the hinge tool. Like LDD trick #6, Hinge mechanism simulation. When all works like it should, I proceed the build. After a while, I check back if all mechanisms work like they should. Then all of the sudden, the hinges aren't working anymore. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello, my name is Steven and I'm a 40 year old man. Married with 1 child (almost 4 year old daughter). When I was a kid, I used to play for hours and hours with my "pile". First regular bricks, then LEGO Technic. A couple of months ago, I discovered LEGO Digital Designer and I love it! It took a few days to find out how it all works and where all the different bricks are, but I'm getting the hang of it. I've got a few things that doesn't work the way I want to, so I joined this forum to ask some questions.
